Teshuvah is the traditional 40 day period of repentance between the first of 'Elul' and the 10th of 'Tishri' which is the Day of Atonement or Yom Kippur in the Talmudic calendar. Though this is not an observance commanded by Yahweh in the Torah, and is no longer mandated by this ministry since adopting the biblical Creation Calendar in 2011, many Messianics take this opportunity to deeply reflect on their conduct over the past year and seek to get right with Him before Yom Kippur. Discover the Gospel principles of repentance applicable both throughout the year and especially in the period between Yom Teruah and Yom Kippur in the series of articles in this register.
