Teshuvah #11 Big Change
Preparing for the Autumnal Shift
When two or three believers at opposite ends of the world who don't know each other independently get the same prophetic message and Yahweh ensures you get all these messages at about the same time then it's a pretty safe bet that you have a Word from Him, especially if the message precisely fits a current need or situation.
The teshuvah Yahweh wants us to make may be about little or great issues, or both. In the lives of most, if not all, believers we deal with whole clusters of interrelated issues that need attending to. And like I have said, life is one continual series of both small repentant adjustments of its course as well as intermittant big adjustments. However today I want to talk about big changes.
Yesterday evening I was referred to an inspired message by Louie Giglio about the raising of Lazarus (which I highly recommend) and this morning I received a completely independent message from Marsha Burns in which Yahweh said to her:
"I have great things in store for you, but there are times when you have to let go of what you thought was good in order to receive something better. You cannot live in your yesterdays and get the most out of the current flow of my Ruach (Spirit). Now is the time when you must give up the ideals, assumptions and fantasies that do not exemplify spiritual reality for you now. Be willing to release everything you have held dear in order to receive My highest and best, says Yahweh. Do not be afraid (Josh.1:9)"
Now normally when people read such messages they automatically assume it is for someone else and not for themselves. Also, many times I have known people get prophetic words and assume it was for someone else when it was for themselves! However, one thing you will notice in Scripture is that prophecy, whilst occasionally for invidividuals, mostly had application for the whole covenant nation of Israel, and that included the prophet delivering the message who usually had to be the first to respond and be cleansed! Even if we are not necessarily individually guilty of some types of individual sin highlighted in a prophetic word, we are nevertheless included because of communal covenants and are called to repent for, and together with, others.
We are only a few weeks away from October now with the autumn/fall festivals beginning with Yom Teruah starting in three weeks. I had a warning vision yesterday morning that myself and this ministry would again become a target when Yahweh showed me a man drawing a pistol, take aim, and fire at me. (I was not hit). The sound of the shot being fired was deafening - I have never heard such a noise in a vision before! Not that being a target or malicious attacks is anything new for us for people have sought to defame and threaten us for years now and it's something we have grown used to. One thing that is good about coming under attack is that you know you're on the right track and are upsetting someone who represents the 'other side' who is betraying their fear and insecurity. In Yah'shua we have shalom and need not be afraid.
"This Book of the Torah (Law) shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for Yahweh your Elohim (God) is with you wherever you go" (Josh.1:8-9, NKJV).
Clearly this autumn/fall represents a major shift or change for those who trust in Yah'shua and are willing to abandon their own programs for His. I doubt any of us has much of an inkling as to what is coming - however we do not that it is coming. This year's autumnal festivals will not be like any previous ones we have experienced, that I am certain of.
Those who love Yahweh, therefore, get ready - not because of some mumbo-jumbo astrological 'conjunction of Pluto with the Galactic Centre' or for a cataclysmic end of the world because of some Mayan calendar that abruptly ends in 2012, but because the living Elohim, Yahweh, has spoken today and to us now!
