An Assembly (Church) which does not possess a spiritual endowment or anointing through which the power of Yahweh can be manifested cannot be said to be either an apostolic or a New Testament Community (Church). No matter how perfect its theology may be or how efficient its organisation, it is of no practical use when it comes to the fullness of the Besorah (Gospel) until it has this anointing. The New Testament Messianic Community received its anointing on the Day of Shavu'ot (Weeks, 'Pentecost') when flickering tongues rested on the heads of those gathered conferring upon them the supernatual ability to speak foreign languages ('tongues') they had not before known or learned the natural way.
