Yahweh is shaking, and will shake, all those who profess to love Him to see who will repent and who will not, to see who will stand and who will flee, to see who will remain true and who will turn against Him. No one is exempt, from those who regard themselves as 'high' to those who regard themselves as 'low'.

Like you, I have been thinking about these three days starting at Yom Teruah (Day of Trumpets, Shouting), 1-3 October 2016. Yesterday was a very quiet day, nothing happened, and though I stood in readiness to provide a message from Him, none came. But the during the night, before sunrise today, I got very ill and was in much pain for about eight hours, being in much distress of soul too as I did not have much of any energy to fight. As the sun rose on the third day of this seventh month (3 October) I finally managed to sleep for a couple of hours, and I dreamed intensely.

I dreamed that I was at a house like my former home in Norway although it was much bigger and more luxurious than the original one. There was suddenly the violent shaking of an earthquake and I could feel the whole building moving and the ground rumbling. I sought refuge in the lower floor beneath ground level on one side, thinking that perhaps it might be safer down there. The shaking continued and then subsided, and all was quiet. After a few minutes pause there was a second earthquake as violent as the first only this time a delta-wing military jet was in the sky directly above us circling around and very close indeed, making a great roaring noise as it swooped down and flew by, as the Swedish Air Force somestimes does here making the windows rattle. At length that earthquake subsided too.

Thinking that I urgently needed sleep, I made my way back to bed again only to be directed to share this message today. The instinct of man, when calamity threatens, is to head for his 'carnal basement' or flesh for safety instead of turning to Elohim (God). We all do it. It is the instinct for survival and self-preservation that all living things have planted in them. It is quite natural and intentional, particularly when we are not sure of the nature of the threat and need time to assess it and so make the appropriate response to go to ground or to defend the flock.

My first scriptural recall was that prophecy made by Messiah concerning the last days that would characterise the time since these words were spoken until now:

"You will hear of wars and rumours of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.

"Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the emunah (faith) and will betray and hate each other, and many false nevi'im (prophets) will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this besorah (gospel) of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come" (Matt.24:6-14, NIV).

I should point out to those who are convinced that the Second Coming is imminent because of a little trouble here and there (which always appears to be great trouble to them) that Yah'shua (Jesus) herein says that the end will not come until the Besorah (Gospel) has been preached to "the whole world". Just because missionaries have set foot in practically every country in the world does not mean that the whole world has had the Besorah (Gospel) preached to it. Indeed when I was in Mississippi last summer, standing in the corridor of a church looking at a large map on the wall showing the reached and unreached areas of the world, I was reminded that the majority has still not heard the Besorah (Gospel) preached to it - billions of people. The end will not come until that deficit has been closed.

There has to be a unified and empowered missionary outreach to every nation, not just the nations shown in our atlases, but to the many nations within those political entities. My own country of the United Kingdom consists of at least four countries (England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland) and a single political entity like South Africa, for example, consist of many nations like the Zulus, Ndebele, Xhosa, Sotho, Tswana, Afrikaaners, English, Swazi, Venda and Tsonga. There is a huge outreach progam to be undertaken before Messiah returns and it is going to take the concerted effort of a generation. Even the former 'Christian' nations need to be evangelised. And what that first generation in the days of the apostles experienced, so too shall the last generation in ours.

The second passage of Scripture that was brought to mind is one that many believe will not be fulfilled until the end of the Millennium when Satan and his demonic hoardes are released one final time for a short season to test those born during those one thousand years. Those who believe the Republic of Israel is 'Israel restored' (see our series, Jacob's Trouble to understand why we do not) tend to believe it will be fulfilled just before Messiah returns. However, this does not mean that one or more similar events will not take place now and just before the second coming as dress-rehearsals or prophetic pre-cycling:

"Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog: 'This is what Yahweh-Elohim says: In that day, when my people Israel are living in safety, will you not take notice of it? You will come from your place in the far north, you and many nations with you, all of them riding on horses, a great horde, a mighty army. You will advance against My people Israel like a cloud that covers the land. In days to come, O Gog, I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know me when I show Myself qadosh (holy, set-apart) through you before their eyes.

"'This is what Yahweh-Elohim says: Are you not the one I spoke of in former days by my servants the nevi'im (prophets) of Israel? At that time they prophesied for years that I would bring you against them. This is what will happen in that day: When Gog attacks the land of Israel, My hot anger will be aroused, declares Yahweh-Elohim. In My zeal and fiery wrath I declare that at that time there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel. The fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the beasts of the field, every creature that moves along the ground, and all the people on the face of the earth will tremble at My presence. The mountains will be overturned, the cliffs will crumble and every wall will fall to the ground. I will summon a sword against Gog on all My mountains, declares Yahweh-Elohim. Every man's sword will be against his brother. I will execute judgment upon him with plague and bloodshed; I will pour down torrents of rain, hailstones and burning sulphur on him and on his troops and on the many nations with him. And so I will show My greatness and My holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am Yahweh'" (Ezek.38:14-23, NIV).

The description of Israel "living in safety" does not describe - and has never described - the present Israeli Republic (and probably never will) which has only ever known war and terrorism in its short history, and better fits an Israel that has been in a Millennial peace suddenly awakened brutally by the release of Satan's hoardes from the pit taking possession of those humans not really converted.

We are all being shaken, some by earthquake shaking-type events. One sister in the USA has just lost all her computer files from a corrupted hard drive with vital information for her current job-seeking needs and has been devastated. In fact it contains all her records, work experience, qualifications, etc.. Having had a similar experience myself many years ago, I totally relate. We know literal and symbolic earthquakes are on the way for all of us or are happening right now. Last night I was really ill again and wondered if the sands of time had run out for me. The time between Yom Teruah (Day of Trumpets, Shouting) and Yom haKippurim (Day of Atonements and Judgment), which traditionally is the last part of the season of Teshuvah (repentance), can be the hardest time of all as we await the light, glory, release, and simcha (joy) of Sukkot (Tabernacles)! And this year, with all that's going on, it becomes especially important that we see this shaking through and not give up! NOTE WELL: Mrs.Lot does not survive so leave your attachments to the old world behind! These three days (1-3 October) are, in addition to events unfolding in the outside world, also a prophetic picture of dying to self! Don't abort this mission!
