For the first time in over 30 years I today stepped into a Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall (their equivalent of a church, chapel or assembly building) in order to collect a copy of the second edition of their Bible version, The New World Translation (NWT, 2013) which I've been told is a marked improvement on the first edition (1950, 1961) and with some serious scholarship invested into it this time. I'll be writing about what I find at another time, Yah willing. What spurs me to write to you now has nothing to do with that but with the spirit that was in that place. Apart from being exactly the same spirit as it was when I first studied with the Jehovah's Witnesses (JWs) back in my student days as a greenie born-again but very naïve talmid (disiciple), it was also just as dead. The people were very nice and decent, as they were then, but there was no Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit) present. I felt so stifled even in a short 15 minute-long meeting that I could not wait to leave.

Why am I saying this now at this critical time in world history? Because if you cannot discern the genuine Ruach (Spirit) of Elohim (God) you will not be able to clearly discern anything. And discernment is hyper-critical at a time of social, economic and national meltdown.

My first observation in that JW meeting was that the spirit that ruled there was controlling, that it maintained its authority through fear and was thus highly manipulating. One thing that did surprise me, apart from their being half the size I remember them being back in the 1970's and 80's, was that their Watchtower and Awake! magazines had no questions at the end of each page. True to form, the minister in this tiny assembly (before they went out on the street to hand out tracts), not only took a quotation from the NTW (the first edition as the second hasn't been rendered into Swedish yet) but also one from the latest Vakttornet (Watchtower).

In my student days at Oxford I investigated so many Christian churches and organisations seeking, as I was then, the 'true' one. It took me some time to realise that there wasn't a 'true church' but rather true talmidim (disciples) with the true Ruach Elohim (Spirit of God) in different stages of spiritual maturity and with different levels of theological knowledge comingled with a lot of error. Jehovah's Witnesses, like Mormons, Catholics, the Campbellite Churches of Christ, Seventh-Day Adventists and others, view themselves as 'Jehovah's true organisation' or the 'one and only true church on earth'. Others, like the King James Version-Onlyers, believe that they alone have the 'one-and-only true Bible translation'. What these organisations and Bible Version puritans share in common is the belief that what they have, no one else has, so you'd better come to the true church or organisation to be saved or use the true Bible version to get the true Gospel (the others - especially the NIV with they loathe - apparently, won't give it to you). Other groups exist, chiefly messianic, which say that not only are they the one-and-only true church, organisation or messianic assembly but that they also have the one and only true Bible translation too...or at any rate strongly hint that they do.

One-and-onlyism is bound to surface in greater force and in greater numbers after the collapse, offering confused, disorientated and spiritually footloose people seeking comfort a spiritual home. These kinds of people are particularly vulnerable and susceptible to one-and-onlyers because they're desperately looking for security and hope for the future. And in a climate of anarchy and lawlessness, such groups are very likely to be armed too, making it doubly hard for their members to escape from them should they try to leave. In a word, expect cults to multiply and to become physically as well as spiritually very dangerous. This will be especially true in the cities where either the government will maintain martial law or where there is complete chaos as various 'war lords' vie for control of sections of cities as gangs do today. Can you maybe understand why it is not a good idea to be in cities and the larger towns (and maybe even the smaller ones) during this time? Where people are so closely jam-packed together, and dependent on the import of agricultural produce from the countryside to live, it will be dog-eat-dog. Under such conditions religion quickly becomes politicised and before you know it people will find themselves the prisoners of unscrupulous men and women.

The cities where lawlessness reigns are going to be full of all kinds of gangs - secular, religious and ethnic. Go to Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia, and you'll get some sort of idea how it will be in some, if not most, Western cities, at least in the early years when government broke down in that country. Don't suppose that the cities which the government control will be much better. Yes, there will be order (which will appeal to many) but also slavery, deprivation and fear of another kind. These will be the folks who run FEMA and FEMA-like camps who will inturn anyone they don't like or suspect of not being pro-government and either use them for slave labour or, more likely, exterminate them. Never forget that the goal of the globalist corporate élites, who run much of the show, is to reduce the world population by 90 or more percent.

As I have said so many times before, conditions will vary in different areas and in different countries. Irrespective of who gains control of the cities - governments or war lords - there is going to be hyper-poverty there, massive food, water and medical shortages, disease, out-of-control crime, and a lot more. The government areas will offer to feed you...at a cost to your liberty and likely to your life. As I have said before, half the world population will be eliminated before Yah'shua (Jesus) returns (40 per cent less than the Illuminati want for their 'Earth Paradise'). Have you factored this into your planning...if indeed you have done any planning at all?

Jehovah's Witnesses don't have much in the way of the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit) and you may find some of their practices objectionable like denying blood transfusions to their dying children or the total shunning of ex-members. But when the cult of government and of the gangsters stares down at you in your face, threatening your life with a gun barrel in to your head, you'll be glad to have a JW as your friend. During the dark days of communism in Eastern Europe before the Berlin Wall came down in 1989-91, when all believers were persecuted, imprisoned and murdered, you would find Eastern Orthodox, Catholic, Protestant and Jehovah's Witness believers all thrown together in prayer for deliverance. Then denominational boundaries became utterly irrelvent. You'll see the same thing happening after collapse, one reason Yahweh permits calamity to bring human beings to their senses and to repentance. The rest will simply deny faith in Yah'shua (Jesus) altogether and sign-up with the government or the war lords.

In spite of the unrest with the mass immigration of many hostile religious elements into the West, it's still sufficiently calm generally for most people to go about the daily life normally and to refuse to believe that disaster is imminent. But it does not take long for order to break down and prosperity to vanish, and for the social servives we take so much for granted to suddenly be gone, along with policemen, firemen, doctors, and so on. I remember Libya when it was peaceful and prosperous. Today it is a nightmare. The same with Syria and Iraq. Next it's the turn of our nations.

Today I went shopping and made my last preparations. I may be lucky and be able to shop next week too, and perhaps for several weeks, who knows. But I am not taking the chance. It's already too late for Venezuelans, they have already experienced collapse and its aftermath, and the cities are becoming horridly dangerous and oppressive places to be in. And remember Libya, Syria, Yemen and Iraq. I am working on the assumption that no one will be able to help me, even if they wanted to, except Yahweh and one or very close friends...maybe. I am certainly not relying on the state to pay me my pension for a good while. I am ready to cut my standard of living drastically, to Third World levels if necessary. Yah willing, when the Yovel (Jubille) is over next spring, I am going to be relying a lot more on the soil for my daily bread. One thing is sure - financial collapse is coming, and with it the destruction of our current way of life, and it's coming to your community sooner rather than later. I really, really pray that you have been wise, that you are out of the cities or ready to be out of them at a moment's notice. May Yahweh guide and bless you.
