The Messianic Evangelical
Liturgy of the
Master's Supper
7th Edition, 20 June 2017
Authorised by the Patriarchate for Use in the New Covenant Assemblies of Yahweh
§1a. Opening Song and Prayer
§1b. To be read out aloud by the presiding Elder:
The Apostle Paul said:
For whenever you eat of this bread
And drink this cup,
You proclaim the Master Yah'shua's death until He comes
Therefore, whoever eats the Bread
Or drinks the Cup of the Master in an unworthy manner
Will be guilty of sinning against the Body and Blood of the Master.
A man ought to examine himself
Before he eats of the Bread and drinks of the Cup.
For anyone who eats and drinks
Without recognising the Body of the Master
Eats and drinks judgment on himself - 1 Cor.11:26-29
If there be any here among the fellowship of the Master Yah'shua
Who has anything against another
Let him now take the person
Aside in private who has given offense,
Or he that has been offended
And make restitution, leaving aside
His gift of a broken heart and a contrite spirit
By the altar of his heart.
Let the offended and he that has given offence
Profess before the people,
Afterwards professing their love for each other
Before the people, and embrace one another
That there be no root of bitterness in any heart
In the assembly of the Congregation of Israel.
And if a man or woman has offended the Body
Let him confess his now, and make restitution,
And be received in ahavah (love).
Then let them take up their gifts from the altar
Which they have laid aside, that they may offer unto Yahweh
A righteous sacrifice, even a broken heart
And a contrite spirit.
If there be any man of woman who cannot confess
Or make restitution in whom yet abides a root of bitterness,
Let him withdraw himself from the assembly -
Or the assembly from said persons to the Communion Room
As shall be expedient - until the Master's emblems
Have been administered and received,
That the House of Yahweh may not be polluted
(Whereafter let them return unto the assembly).

§2a. Intermediary Song (optional)
§2b. The administering Elder washes and dries his hands (holding up the unbroken bread):
Blessèd art Thou, O King of the Universe, Yahweh-Elohim
Who maketh bread to come forth from the earth.
We give Thee thanks, our Father, for the life and knowledge
Thou hast made known unto us through Thy servant Yah'shua.
§3. Congregation:
For Thine is the Kingdom, and the Power,
and the Glory, for ever and ever.
§4. The Elder (whilst breaking the bread):
As this broken bread, once dispersed over the hills,
Was brought together and became one loaf,
So may Thy flock be brought together
From the ends of the earth into Thy Kingdom.
§5. Congregation:
For Thine is the Kingdom, and the Power,
and the Glory, for ever and ever.
§6. The Elder:
Yah'shua said:
I tell you the truth,
He who believes has everlasting life.
I am the bread of life.
Your forefathers are the manna in the desert, yet they died.
But here is the bread that comes down from Heaven,
Which a man may eat and not die.
I am the living bread that came down from Heaven.
If anyone eats this bread, he will live for ever.
This bread is My flesh,
Which I will give for the life of the world.
I tell you the truth,
Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man
And drink His blood,
You have no life in you.
Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life,
And I will raise him up at the last day.
For My flesh is real food
And My blood is real drink.
Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood
Remains in Me, and I in him.
Just as the living Father sent Me
And I live because of the Father,
So the one who feeds on me will live because of Me.
This is the bread that came down from Heaven.
Your forefathers are manna and died,
But he who feeds on this bread will live forever (Jn.6:47-57)
§7. The congregation shall then recite aloud together the saramental prayer for the bread under the leading of the administering Elder:
Holy Father, Yahweh-Elohim,
We ask Thee in the Name of Thy Son,
Yah'shua the Messiah,
To bless and sanctify this bread
To the souls of all those who partake of it,
That we may eat in remembrance of the body of Thy Son
Which was broken for us;
And witness unto Thee,
Yahweh-Elohim, the Eternal Father,
That we are willing to take upon us the Name of Thy Son,
And always remember Him,
And obey His commandments
And keep His Covenants
Which He hath given unto us,
That we may always have the fullness
of the Ruach haQodesh to be with us. Amen.
Elder:
The bread will then be distributed by the Deacons and Deaconesses using the right hand.
§8. Elder (holding up the unfermented red wine):
Blessèd art Thou, O King of the Universe, Yahweh-Elohim,
For the Holy Vine of Thy servant David,
Which Thou hast made known unto us
Through Thy servant Yah'shua.
§9. Congregation:
Glory to Thee, world without end.
§10. The congregation shall then recite aloud together the sacramental prayer for the wine under the leading of the administering Elder:
Holy Father, Yahweh-Elohim,
We ask Thee in the Name of Thy Son,
Yah'shua the Messiah,
To bless and sanctify this wine
To the souls of all those who drink of it,
That we may do so in remembrance
On the New Covenant
In the blood of Thy Son,
Which was shed for us on the cross,
That through repentance and faith in His Name
We might receive forgiveness of sins
And the purification of our souls.
We drink this cup
As a witness unto Thee,
Yahweh-Elohim, the Eternal Father,
That we do always remember Him,
That we have the fullness
Of the Ruach haQodesh to be with us. Amen.
Elder:
Yah'shua said: Dink you all of it.
For this is My blood
Of the New Covenant,
Which is poured out for many
for the forgiveness of sins. (Mt.26:27-28)
The administering Elder shall then pour the unfermented red wine which shall then be distributed by the Deacons and Deaconesses using the right hand.
§11. The administering Elder shall then give thanks with these words:
Thou art worthy to take the Book of Life
And to open the seals thereof,
O Lamb of Elohim,
For Thou wast slain,
And hast redeemed us to Yahweh by Thy blood
Out of every tribe and language
And people and nation.
Thou hast made us to be kings
And priests to serve our Elohim,
And we shall reign on the earth. (Rev.5:9-10)

Which Thou hast revealed unto us
Through Thy servant Yah'shua.
§13. The administering Elder shall then say:
Thou, O Almighty Elohim and Father,
Yahweh-Elohim,
Hast created all things
For Thine own Name's sake;
To all men and women
Thou hast given meat and drink to enjoy,
That they may give thanks unto Thee,
But unto us Thou hast graciously given
Spiritual meat and drink,
Together with life eternal,
Through Thy servant Tah'shua.

Be praise and honour and glory and power,
For ever and even. Amen. (Rev.5:12-13)
§15. The administering Elder then shall say:
Be mindful of Thy flock, O Master;
Deliver it from all evil,
Perfect it in Thy love,
Sanctify it,
And gather it from the four winds into the Kingdom
Which Thou hast prepared for it.

Historical Footnote
Based on the Didaché ('The Teaching'), otherwise known as 'The Teaching of the Lord to the Gentiles, Through the Twelve Apostles', Section II, Part 3, 'Of the Eucharist', the constitution of the Assembly of Yahweh in Syria, A.D.150. The current format was originally given by revelation to Lev-Tsiyon on 4 February 2001 and has subsequently been modified to incorporate the sacred Names of Deity. This is the liturgy of the symbolic Master's (Lord's) Supper (not the Chavurat Bekorot or Holy Order Johannine Communion). It is administered every Sabbath, to all fully baptised and chrismated full members in good standing.
