    THE FIVE COMMISSIONS

of the New Covenant Assemblies of Yahweh

This article is a short summary of the main Five Commissions Website

The New Covenant Assemblies of Yahweh (NCAY) is a restoration work raised up by Yahweh in these end times to perform a special mission in the world. It is an independent fellowship, having no organisational connection with Catholicism, Protestantism, Eastern Orthodoxy, Seventh-Day Adventism, Mormonism or any other Christian/Messianic or non-Christian grouping or denomination. This statement, which is based on a revelation received in 1990 (Olive Branch 263), sets out the purposes of NCAY.

    1. To Convert All to Messiah

The first and foremost calling of NCAY is to preach the salvation of the Besorah, Good News or Gospel of Yah'shua the Messiah (Jesus Christ) in all the world, making talmidim (disciples) of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20). We consider ourselves united with all believers who make this their primary goal, sharing the same overarching Ruach (Spirit).

Messianic Evangelicals (members of NCAY) believe that Yahweh is the process of restoring the fullness of the Gospel of Yah'shua the Messiah (Jesus Christ) in these end-times and it is our desire, therefore, that all souls should have the opportunity of embracing this commission, revelation and anointing. But bringing souls to salvation must come before all else.

We believe that Elohim (God) is working through many different groups of believers throught the Body of Messiah on different levels of light. We consider it our duty to direct people who do not desire to unite with us to others who share the basic end-time Messianic Israelite vision where their needs may be met and their new-found emunah (faith) may be nurtured according to their willingness to submit to Elohim (God) and obey the mitzvot (commandments) of Messiah.

    2. To Gather in the Elect

Unlike many we do not believe it sufficient simply to 'accept Christ' for a complete salvation which has past, present, and future aspects. Messianic Evangelicals point to the numerous scriptures where Yah'shua (Jesus) and His apostles taught that we are to love Him, and that loving Him includes not only heart devotion but practical obedience to all His mitzvot (commandments). Not all Christians/Messianics are willing to do this, some rejecting mitzvot (commandments) they either do not like (for which they will be judged) or do not fully understand (which which Yahweh holds them guiltless). There is no such thing, moreover, as 'once saved, always saved' nor is salvation a foregone conclusion for some but not for others as is claimed by the heresy of Calvinism.

The New Covenant Assemblies of Yahweh are apostolic and seek the same supernatural gifts of revelation as the Messianic Community (Church) founded by Messiah. Through the grace of Elohim (God) we have received numerous revelatory keys in order to help us better know Elohim (God) and ourselves, and thus to enable us to repent more completely and achieve sanctification and that perfection to which we are all called.

The more committed members of NCAY are called into deeper covenants with Messiah and are challenged to be obedient in all things through self-surrender and image-bearing of Messiah. This demands great dedication, consecration and sacrifice.

The scriptures call this wholly devoted body of believers the Assembly of the Firstborn which is made up of 144,000 souls who are willing to forsake all worldly things in order to follow the Master (Heb.12:23; Rev.7:1-8; 14:1-5; for a fuller treatment of this subject, see the Chavurat Bekorot website). Most of these 'firstborn souls' have already lived and are now in Heaven. It is the belief of NCAY that there are some thousands of these men and women living who must be gathered in before the Great Tribulation. Part of the mission of NCAY is to seek out these elect talmidim (disciples) through the leading of the Ruach (Spirit) and to induct them into the deeper mysteries and covenants of the emunah (faith) of our Master.

    3. To Sow in all Churches and Assemblies

As mentioned in the First Commission, our purpose is not simply to gather people to NCAY, but to first and foremost fulfil the Great Commission in our corner of the Vineyard by winning them for Messiah (Christ). In addition, Messianic Evangelicals have been called to share what Yahweh has revealed to them to all churches, assemblies, groups, associations, and individuals who will receive it whether in part or as a whole. We do not expect the broad mass of believers to accept everything we believe in but we do believe that they will receive much and be greatly blessed by it, and become leavening agents of the emet (truth) themselves. Moreover, we believe that other believers have much to teach us too. We therefore consider spiritual cross-fertilisation to be one of the ways in which Elohim (God) acts in the world.

We acknowledge our debt to many people in many churches and denominations -- past and present -- and hope that we, in our way, have been, and will continue to be, a blessing to others too.

NCAY also cooperates in various social projects run by other churches. In the 1990's we cooperated with the Church of Christ (Campbellite) in India in the operation of orphanages, leprosy centres and clinics, and have cooperated with a number of other independent groups in India and Africa since. In Norway our members have been involved in various projects run by the Lutheran, Pentecostal, and other churches in reaching out to alcoholics and drug-addicts. We have also witnessed of Messiah on television for an Evangelical Church in Oslo (available on video) and supported the unregistered Free Baptists before the collapse of the Soviet Union.

    4. Lifting a Warning Voice

NCAY is a prophetic body and acknowledges the ministry of veni'im (prophets and prophetesses). We consider it a sacred duty to warn against all unrighteousness by word and by deed -- against all forms of violence, immorality, and false religion. We have also been commanded to deliver prophecies to the nations which are published and as widely distributed as possible. NCAY predicted the unification of Germany and warned of the rise in violence that this would bring in the nation. Prophecies on Germany, Poland, the Baltic States, Russia, the Ukraine, Yugoslavia, Hungary, Czecho-Slovakia, Israel, Jordan, the USA, Canada, Brazil, and many other nations are available on the main website.

We believe in the literalness of the apocalyptic warnings in scripture and believe that the Anti-Messiah or Antichrist is already on the earth waiting to reveal himself. Messianic Evangelicals believe that this is one of the greatest dangers facing the true Besorah (Gospel). We believe that the world as a whole will be subjected to a world globalist dictatorship under the leadership of this false messiah/christ and that his chief instrument will be a network of religious and globalist organisations whose spiritual roots are satanic -- some of which who not infrequently masquerade as being 'Christian' by using the language of Christianity. We believe that this movement is the precursor to a single synthetic, worldwide religion set up by the Anti-Messiah (Antichrist) that will persecute true believers prior to the physical return of the Master Yah'shua the Messiah (Jesus Christ).

Messianic Evangelicals are in the forefront of warning about the imminent judgments that face the world and have received revelations about many political leaders.

    5. To Gather the Ten Tribes

One of the more specialised missions of NCAY is to help gather in the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel whom we believe are scattered throughout the world. We believe that these people are to be gathered up by nevi'im (prophets) in the last days and be returned to the Promised Land at Messiah's Second Coming. See, The Final Gathering.

NCAY believes that it, along with others, will have a special responsibility toward the Ten Tribes in the last days, to awaken them to an awareness of their identity through the preaching of the Besorah (Gospel), and to assist in their physical gathering to the Promised Land.

    Conclusion

These are, broadly speaking, the Five Commissions of NCAY, which was organised in November 1987 in Oxord, England and now has its headquarters in Sweden, Scandinavia. We are seeking for those who are willing to follow the Master Yah'shua the Messiah (Jesus Christ) with purity of heart and loyal devotion in all things. For a more detailed study of these matters, please visit our Five Commissions website.
