Chag sameach Sukkot and welcome to the sixth and penultimate day of the Feast of Tabernacles!

Every Sukkut is different and this year is no exception. We have seen a great separation taking place but it's exact contours have not been visible until now. We're supposed to be like spaceships heading toward a distant planet but so often people's rockets don't fire in sequence, or some don't fire at all, and so they go hurtling into space away from the intended target.

Once again the pop 'prophets' are at it, the 'Prophetess of Petra' announcing that the Great Tribulation started 6 days ago, on 23 September, at the autumnal equinox, in spite of having made numerous false prophecies in the past. I guarantee Yah'shua (Jesus) will not be back 7 years hence, but that doesn't mean judgment and trouble won't be mounting because that is so plain to see. It just won't be an 'end-of-the-world' scenario even though it may seem to be that way.

Pop prophets tend to become highly excitable at every calamity in the world and you only have to check your histories to know that they were around predicting the Second Coming during the Napoleonic Wars, the First World War, and the Second World War. Indeed I own a 542-page volume, Forty Coming Wonders from 1892 to 1901, written by the founder of the Jehovah's Witnesses, Charles Taze Russel, in 1880, in which every single prediction he made was falsified after 1901 had passed. I'm sure it sold well at the time and that he had some ardent but undiscerning followers.

So urgent course corrections need to be made on the part of some - quickly - particularly those whose ears and eyes have been glued to false nevi'im (prophets). It's time to grow up but for so many I fear it is already too late, at least for this year. A lot of confused people are going to get lost over the next year, and especially over the next six months, and become an easy prey to the Enemy. The false prophetic markers they have been given, or even 'discovered' themselves, will prove incorrect, and require diligent mental dismantling if they are to get back on track. Whatever you do, don't go heading off to Israel or the Middle East any time soon. I know I have said this many times but people tend to be slow of hearing when they are locked, passions aflame, onto a target.

Ever since the first Messianic Shavu'ot, the Feast of Weeks or what some call 'Pentecost', when the Wind of the Ruach (Spirit) swept through that tiny gathering in Jerusalem, the Messianic 'Ship of State' - its sails filled and billowing with that wind - has been propelled over the ocean of the world with the Besorah (Good News). Each generation has been filled with a new and fresh wind, often taking that Ship into uncharted waters, for which there were no nautical maps. Mistakes were made, and always will be in every generation. And so unpredictable is the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit) that the first time round - when the New Covenant was launched - those early qoedeshim (saints, set-apart ones) needed the supernatural gift of foreign languages to communciate the new message so that everyone could hear and understand.

The Body is actually in urgent need of authentic spiritual gifts but they won't be given until there is a full and proper repentance. In the meantime, counterfeit 'gifts', sent by the Enemy and heavily imbued with occultism, are proliferating everywhere, transforming once Christian and Messianic groups into something else. When the distinctions between Christianity and the Occult become blurred when you get, always, is Occultism. There can be not natural marriage between the two. Thus groups about who use biblical language but possess a dark, animating spirit.

Yahweh meets us where we are and we either cooperate with Him and are carried rapidly by the wind over the waters or we resist Him and go in the opposite and wrong direction and then pick up another wind in our sails that leads us astray. It is futile to resist that heavenly wind. Some find themselves becalmed and unable to move, wondering when the next gust will come from, and from which direction. To such the authentic nevi'im (prophets), teachers and preachers must go in the rôle of a spiritual physician.

On 29 November 1996 I received the following davar (word):

"Unto what shall I liken the covenants of the Besorah (Gospel)? Behold, the covenants are as a ship, even an ark of Noah, that delivers its passengers safely through the storms of life outside. They hold a soul safely on course as the storms of the world without lay siege to it with its false ideas, philosophies, and movements; and breaks down under the ice of unbelief in the cold winter of rest, when movement of life has been suspended, until the spring comes. Therefore hold fast to your covenants, beloved, for as I have told you many times, they are your life-raft, and will save you from ship-wrecking your souls as so many have done who have come, and departed into the cold waters of the sea. I am the Master of the Covenant, even the New and Everlasting Covenant, and I am your ark of salvation. Therefore be true, nothing doubting, and you shall be taken safely to the Mountain of Yahweh. Amen" (Olive Branch, 437:1-7).

Over the years I have seen many visions of this beautiful white ship (OB 358; 360; 407; 429) that represents this work. Many have tried to sink it (sinking their own vessel in the process) and many have tried to alter its course. All those who have done so have been broken by the by. This vessel I have captained and guarded now for over 30 years. This work cannot be steered by any man or woman not called to the captaincy without it breaking them. And whatever Yahweh has wanted us to do, He has said that it would be "done in My own time, and in My own way, that the greater ahavah (love) and glory might come to pass. There that which you plant shall find permanent rootage and not be pulled up by the wind of every adversity. Go forth in emunah (faith), and doubt not..." (OB 463:13-16).

We have been celebrating Sukkot for 22 years now and what a lot has happened in that time! The ship-wreckers, without exception, have been wrecked by their own folly and those that have loved the ship have sailed on, sometimes in violent storms, sometimes in becalmed water, sometimes in glorious sunshine with a gentle breeze, but always sailing on. It's been a while since Yahweh has shown me where we stand before Him but a week ago, on 22 September, I was shown an intense vision around 9.20 am.

I saw a brand new white ring folder or binder. The bottom half of the front cover was completely white, like the rest of the folder. The top part consisted of a number of irregularly-shaped brightly coloured patches separated from one another by a grey area, like a mosaic. The patches were of all sorts of sizes and shapes. I understood the vision's meaning immediately upon its closing.

The 'folder' represents the 'fold', flock or fellowship of Messianic Evangelicals. Each patch represents key doctrines, truths, teachings or practices that are necessary for the completion of this work that haven't yet been seamlessly integrated into the whole. The lower white half had also once been colourful patches but these were now blended as an echad unity and were inseparably a part of this work, being fully integral with it. The top half is yet to be similarly integrated but seemingly all the doctrines are now in place. All that they require now is the blending or merging action of the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit) so that the entire folder will become white and whole.

I have been given very clear instructions as to what to do this winter in the interim between the last autumn moed (appointment) and Aviv 1 next spring. Then, Yahweh willing, following the final integration, the Messianic Evangelical ship will become the white vessel that I was shown all those years ago and become ready for its replacement captain of the last generation. Now, of course, I am not just talking about doctrine and teaching - this folder represents the whole spirit and anointing of this work which we have long recognised is only partially amongst us at the present. This vessel has been painstakingly assembled for the last 30 or more years, a lifetime's work, gathered by the hand of man but welded together by the supernatural power of Elohim (God). And because it is His, nothing will stop it.

The work of the Kingdom is always a cooperative work between man and Elohim (God). It is not ready-made like precooked and prepackaged food. And every generation's work is different. Yahweh works even amongst the human-generated errors and heresies of each age, shaping the stones right under the nose of the devil. Sometimes He gives a big shove, as happened in the 16th century when the Reformation began, and sometimes He gently nudges His servants along, knowing what they will resist (because of tradition or personal issues) and knowing what they will accept and embrace. And He has been shoving and nudging ever since.

We are coming to the end of an important period of time both for worshippers at this festival and for this work as a whole. At the end of Shemini Atseret we must leave you, because the time has come. This is a necessary tavnith (pattern) for any and every work of Elohim (God) and we see something that happened like it during the days of Sukkot two thousand years ago, when Yah'shua (Jesus) said to His talmidim (disciples):

"I am with you for only a short time, and then I go to the one who sent me. You will look for me, but you will not find me; and where I am, you cannot come" (John 7:33-34, NIV).

Let he who has ears, understand.

And then, on Shemini Atseret itself He said:

"On the last and greatest day of the Feast (Shemini Atseret), Yah'shua (Jesus) stood and said in a loud voice, 'If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him" (John 7:37-38, NIV).

When Shemini Atseret comes in two days' time, I want you to remember that passage. For here we are given a clue as to what those who will inherit the Millennium will possess - nay, must possess, in order to qualify as the Bride. More tomorrow!
