"If you do not stand firm in your emunah (faith), you will not stand at all" (Isa 7:9, NIV).

Grace, mercy and shabbat shalom (Sabbath Peace) in Yah'shua our Messiah (Jesus Christ) kol beit Yisra'el (all the house of Israel)!

I am sure that you, like me, have been following the news of Hurricane Sandy, being dubbed as the 'Perfect Storm' and certainly the worst in a century as far as America is concerned. It's due to make landfall tonight or tomorrow morning. It has already killed about 40 people in the Caribbean. There is little doubt in my mind that it was geo-engineered as HAARP activity is off the charts in New England as well as in southern California (see diagram below):

Neither can it be any coincidence that this has been 'arranged' to occur over the four High Satanist days of Samhain (Halloween) that bring the 19 day satanic feast to a conclusion. And given what evil men and women have thus far been able to do with this technology, does anyone suppose that it will end with the likes of Sandy?

From this I believe we are to draw one of two conclusions:

• 1. Yahweh will allow this destruction to continue because we really are about to enter the Great Tribulation and Yah'shua (Jesus) is about to return as some are claiming...literally within the decade or sooner; or
• 2. Yahweh will intervene to defeat this cabal of wickedness so that we have, as I have long predicted, another generation to get the Besorah (Gospel) out before the Great Tribulation and the Return of Messiah.

This does not, of course, mean that we will not continue to have 'tribulation' because as believers we are promised that on a more or less continual basis for Yah'shua (Jesus) said:

"In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world" (John 16:33, NKJV).

There is little doubt in my mind that Hurricane Sandy is a planned offering to Satan, or at least its aftermath. We have yet, of course, to see how much damage it does or how much life will be lost. In the light of the extraordinary amount of HAARP activity, even the most ardent sceptics of conspiracy must at least admit that this is a distinct possibility. The enemy is becoming more and more brazen, coming out into the open more prominently, because he is throwing everything he has into the front line in a last desperate attempt to secure world domination for himself. We even had some threatening emails yesterday, the first in a long while. As more and more people become conscious as to what's really going on in the world, the enemy will become even more daring and take even greater risks. This is an 'all-or-nothing' set of carefully planned actions and the Pagan New Year of Halloween (Samhain) has been purposefully chosen for their execution - Satan would dearly love to make 31 October/1 November the beginning of his New World Order if he can pull it off. Southern Europe has already erupted into violence because of the economic crisis - the enemy would like this to be global so that a false messiah figure can step in and put everything right, fulfilling the occultic motto, Out of Chaos, Order - and specifically, satanic order or a fascist/communist-type dictatorship.

If you don't know the emet (truth) about Halloween, it's high time you did, because of what's going on around you. Learn to join the dots together in world events and you will sooner or later discover the underlying spiritual tavnith (pattern).

It is also, I believe, no accident that this man-made hurricane was named 'Sandy'. One thing you need to remember is that Satan is unoriginal - everything he does is basically the inverse of the biblical script. Whatever Yahweh wants or does, he wants or does the opposite. Many of the actions the enemy has planned are based on tweeking biblical prophecy and principles so that when these prophecies are apparently 'fulfilled', believers in particular will be persuaded to trust the web of events that he strings together and orchestrates. Humans like a show. So Satan tries to get in on Yahweh's 'act' by putting on a 'show' of his own ahead of his arch-rival. You would be surprised how many people in the late 1930's and early 1940's thought the Second World War was the Great Tribulation and Hitler the Antichrist. Observing believers' reactions to war and disaster, Satan has become increasingly more sophisticated in creating and psychologically manipulating such things and so fooling Christians.

Think about it. As believers we love seeing the supernatural at work, don't we? Anything that is 'mysterious' or 'inexplicable' has a way of 'grabbing' our attention. And nothing gives a Christian or Messianic greater delight and a boost to his emunah (faith) than to see something concrete and tangible in a world event apparently fulfilling Scripture or otherwise having an undeniable supernatural component. I recall watching a video clip from Hurricane Katrina, which some of you experienced first hand, in which you could see a twister approaching the home of the Christian filming it. He then started praying fervently, rebuking that destructive force of nature approaching him, and the twister literally veered away and went in another direction. That kind of supernatural intervention by Yahweh really thrills us, doesn't it?

Unfortunately, human beings do tend to be a bit presumptuous in these things sometimes - too often, alas - uncritically linking contemporary events to biblical prophecy and so making serious exegetical mistakes. We've all done it. Each Gulf War in Iraq has been proclaimed by far too many Christiabns and Messianics to be 'it' - the lead.up to the Great Tribulation. I remember the First Gulf War when Bush Senior was President. Christians were declaring that the end had come and were whipping up hysteria. I prophesied at the time that this was not the end, mostly to reassure our own people, but most believers wanted it to be the end. There was unmistakable disappointment when Bush halted the campaign mid-stream, leaving Saddam Hussein in power, leaving his son to 'finish the job' many years later by invading and occupying the country under the false pretext of Hussein possessing weapons of mass destruction that were a threat to world peace. Even the second time round Christians were proclaiming that this was the end, and I was telling them that it wasn't. Some of you may remember the visions I had at the time when I prophesied that Husseins palaces would be bombed from the air, as they subsequently were.

This carelessness on the part of Evangelicals and Messianics can not only lead to disappointment but to loss of emunah (faith), especially among new believers and those who are weak who have been persuaded to enthusiastically accept the prophetic interpretations of uninformed and often deceived ministers. Many rightly get turned off all the junk spewing out of the charismatic movement and go to more sensible churches but others throw out the baby with the bathwater and assume that Christianity is a fraud, and so lose emunah (faith).

Satan knows this and loves it when believers lose emunah (faith) because they believed in a lie. Accordingly, we must learn to be careful and cicumspect in ascribing to Yahweh what Satan has in fact manufactured himself to make appear to be the work of Yahweh. Why do you think Satan is doing so much stirring up in the Middle East? It is to make prophecies appear to be fulfilled even if there are some glaring omissions which believers choose not to see because they so much want biblical prophecy to be fulfilled before their eyes. I think in particular of that huge pseudo-biblical con which is the so-called modern-day 'restoration of Israel' (please carefully study my ground-breaking six-part series, Jacob's Trouble).

Vast numbers of Christians and Messianics believe that current events portent the return of Messiah within a very short time (one group I know says we are already half way through the Great Tribulation already!) but few have considered the possibility that like Hurricane Sandy, this could be the work of theological engineering by Satan to get believers to quit believing in Scripture and therefore in Elohim (God) too when, after being taken for a big ride in apparently seeing prophecy fulfilled, suddenly a huge prophecy apparently 'fails' because the the satanically engineered sequence of events. Satan knows how to play on the suffering which he himself causes, getting peoples' hopes up, aided and abetted by ministers who are neither listening to the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit) nor allowing the Scriptures to speak plainly because they prefer their own traditions and won't obey the mitzvot (commandments).

The destruction of the Republic of Israel (which has just launched an attack against Sudan, with its neighbour Egypt mobilising for total war, threatening retaliation) will cause major consternation and loss of faith amongst scores of Christian and Messianic Zionists for whom this little Rothschild-created political entitity has become an integral part of their belief system. Many will cling on to their false belief convinced that this portends the imminent arrival of Yah'shua (Jesus)....and of course many will be fooled when Satan's Antimessiah or Antichrist then conviently (by demonic design) enters centre stage even though he doesn't exactly appear the way Scripture teaches the true Messiah does. And it will not be as 'obvious' as so many naïve believers suppose because of the lies they already believe. They will simply assume they have been looking at everything wrong and accept any plausible interpretation that validates the events as they think they are being fulfilled biblically rather than testing the events against the p'shat or plain sense of the Bible.

Now Hurricane Sandy is a case in point. Why were the designers of this 'natural' disaster inspired or directed to call it 'Sandy'? And has Yahweh had an indirect 'input' into this too? I can't say for sure at this time but I would like to make some interesting observations.

The Hebrew word for 'sand' is chôl which literally means to 'whirl' or 'dance', inspired as it doubtless originally was by the Israelite experience of sandstorms and the way the particles of silex, mica and felspar are lifted and whirled abount by the wind. Its association with storms in the Hebrew language is perhaps the most striking thing about chôl.

Sand has several symbolic applications in scripture. It is used as a symbol of a countless multitude of people - as of Abraham's descendants (Gen.22:17; Is.10:22; Rev.20:8) and of weight (Job 6:3) but the way the Messiah uses it is to depict instability in his well-known parable of the two houses built on rock and sand, respectively (Mt.7:26). Sand, therefore, predominently represents storms and instability which themselves can be the instruments of destruction. You all know the tremendous erosion power of sand blown by wind.

Obviously this 'perfect storm' is going to hit those unprepared - whose lives are built on sand - far harder than those who are prepared - whose lives are built on rock which is Messiah.

"Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash" (Matt.7:24-27, NIV).

I don't think believers yet realise the nature or scale of the impending judgment that is about to fall on the world, including and especially the United States and Europe for their wickedness. We have the corrupt and wicked rulers that we do only because we deserve them, and they will remain until we as a people repent.

In today's passage Yahweh warns: "If you do not stand firm in your emunah (faith), you will not stand at all" (Isa 7:9, NIV). Earlier Yahweh had said: "Be careful, keep calm and don't be afraid" (Isa.7:4, NIV).

At a moment of crisis for the Kingdom of Judah, Yahweh painted its enemies in a rather different way to the way the Judahites themselves were viewing their two powerful neighbours. For Yahweh they were but "two smoldering stubs of firewood" (Isa.7:4, NIV). That's all our enemies ever are - smoldering embers and just because they open their mouths and start appearing 'fiery' for a season, know that it's only a blast of air passing over those stubs and that it will die down both because the wind will drop and because the stubs will burn out. They cannot sustain the 'fire' for long.

For those who stand firm in their emunah (faith) and cling to Yahweh's faithfulness, 'great' obstacles will be seen to be what they really are - nothing before the might of Yahweh-Elohim. They are but burning stubs devouring themselves in their hate. And once they are burned out, they are no more

If you have stood firm in your emunah (faith) then know that the storm about to break - whether it be a spiritual Sandy or the literal one off New England - will come and go. The enemy is intent on eradicating 90% of humanity by any means at his disposal. So far his attempts to get epidemics going have failed (he is growing impatient with the slow poisoning of humanity through drugs, bad food, and radiation) because Yahweh will not allow 90% of humanity to perish but now he is turning to the power of HAARP which has really fed his pride and sense of omnipotence. Having made one super-storm he will try to make many more. This is why, I believe, Yahweh will intervene - the world follows His prophetic schedule, not theirs.

We are headed for a massive climax as multiple events all converge on a single point, as Yahweh showed me in a vision recently. Many of you have your metaphorical backs up against the Red Sea as Pharaoh's army bears down. Don't worry. If you are holding on to Yahweh's faithfulness, and trusting in His promises even if you haven't seen very much in the way of promises fulfilled in recent times, then like Joseph you will not only be rescued but propelled to really high spiritual ground! For Yahweh's people, His authentic talmidim (disciples), good days lie ahead. But woe, woe unto the adversaries, especially those putting Yahweh to the test! Unless their repentance is complete, it will not go well for them. They need to stop playing with fire and to get flat on their faces!
