The first concerns the fate of a large family who en masse have turned away from Yahweh (or otherwise not known Him with the exception of the mother of the family who recently went home to be with Yah'shua/Jesus). Recently I shared a prophetic dream with you about them called the Three Lightning Bolts in which, you may recall, three events would happen in quick succession in their lives which would leave them in absolutely no doubt, in spite of their atheism, agnosticism or occultism, that Yahweh was communicating His displeasure and immanent judgment of them for their whoredoms, fornication, blasphemy, alcoholism, child kidnapping and mockery of things holy.

In my dream this morning I was in a very large house which represented this large family of several living generations. It began in the large lobby where I was speaking with the family 'matriarch' who, as I said, recently passed away, which is why I was in the lobby as she was not with the rest of the family who were gathered in a very large dining hall nearby. While I spoke to the mother of this large family I began to levitate into the air and to slowly move around at will before finally landing softly back onto the ground. I felt a great peace throughout this 'meeting'. Our relationship in real life had always been strained somewhat because of very different views of the Gospel (hers being Lutheran) and in the dream the look on her face was one of suspicion and mistrust. But by the time I had landed on the floor again that mistrust had disappeared. The mother was in the lobby because she was 'near' to the family she had just left behind, a maternal instinct.

When you levitate in a dream it usually means that the dreamer is in full control of a situation, giving him freedom of movement. If a levitation ends badly in a dream, then that is usually indicative of demonic interference. In this dream it represented my complete freedom of spiritual movement and control over the situation.

While alive, the mother very much held the family together. Since her passing, this cohesion has weakened somewhat. Her atheistic husband has a very different perspective on life and is not family-orientated in quite the same way. We pray daily that he may be saved.

Having levitated before the mother and returned to the ground, I then went into the large dining chamber. There were many tables everywhere and it was full of people who were dressed up for a family gathering if some sort. The family members were sitting around these tables eating, drinking, playing poker and so forth. The Scriptures have much to say about those who 'eat, drink and make merry' (e.g. Lk.12:19) but there is one passage I do wish to share with you that pertains to this particular situation:

"'Let your waist be girded and your lamps burning; and you yourselves be like men who wait for their master, when he will return from the wedding, that when he comes and knocks they may open to him immediately. Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them. And if he should come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.' Then Peter said to Him, 'Master, do You speak this parable only to us, or to all people?' And the Master said, 'Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. Truly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all that he has. But if that servant says in his heart, 'My master is delaying his coming,' and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and be drunk, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. And that servant who knew his master's will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more'" (Luke 12:35-48, NKJV).

This prophetic dream, whilst pointing to a particular family that has done me both good and great evil, is in a way a type of mankind in general. Many of them have known Yah'shua but turned their backs on Him. Many do not. Clearly, as Yah'shua intimated, there is a greater punishment for those who knew Him but rebelled than those who never did. And the one who abuses the Household of Yahweh in the absence of the Master has a fate which is described graphically and in terms that are not pleasant - he will be CUT IN TWO.

A few words about being "cut in two". This is not a Torah punishment so why does Yah'shua use this horrendous illustration? What connections would His hearers make to hearing of this horrible death? There is only one that I know of and that refers to the incident where two women are claiming the same baby as theirs and Solomon is called to arbitrate (1 Ki.3:25). He did not intend to destroy the child, of course, but merely identify the true mother whom he knew would love her child enough to prevent its death and offer it to the false claimant. In this parable, though, an adult is being condemned. Half of him belongs to Yahweh and the other half to Satan (since he is in open rebellion) so each 'half' must be given to the respective owner. Since this will result in his death, then obviously Satan get the lot. And that is the point. Yah'shua is here saying that you cannot be double-minded and expect to get away with it. Your loyalties cannot be divided indefinitely because at some point judgment will come, and when it does comes, it will be terribly finale. There will be no weighing-in-the-balances. Unless all of you belongs to Yahweh, you are lost. Double-mindedness has to end for a true salvation to take place. Either way, the darkness has to be cut off - and better to do it while you are alive than at the end of your life because if you leave it too late you will be cut off altogether.

Death and judgment are always terrible to wicked people, but especially to those who have been called to be ministers and equipped with many gifts. The Torah is here being cited by Yah'shua and its system of punishment. Notice that these punishments have not been abolished because they will be used at the end of the Christian or Messianic dispenstion, proving their eternal validity. You can read about them in Leviticus 5:15, Numbers 15:29-30 and Deureronomy 25:2-3 for some orientation on what the Master means by "stripes". Those who receive only "stripes" - for negligence - are the 'lucky' ones, for there is forgiveness. The ones I fear for at the ones who are metaphorically cut in two, a punishment not described in Torah but which clearly is indicative of death and destruction.

Shortly after awakening from this dream Yahweh directed me to this passage of scripture:

"And it shall be, when you show this people all these words, and they say to you, 'Why has Yahweh pronounced all this great disaster against us? Or what is our iniquity? Or what is our sin that we have committed against Yahweh our Elohim?' then you shall say to them, 'Because your fathers have forsaken Me,' says Yahweh; 'they have walked after other gods and have served them and worshiped them, and have forsaken Me and not kept My Torah (Law). And you have done worse than your fathers, for behold, each one follows the dictates of his own evil heart, so that no one listens to Me" (Jer.16:10-12, NKJV).

"Now when they (the two witnsses) finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Master was crucified. Then those from the peoples, tribes, tongues, and nations will see their dead bodies three-and-a-half days, and not allow their dead bodies to be put into graves. And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them, make merry, and send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth. Now after the three-and-a-half days the breath of life from Elohim entered them, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them. And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, 'Come up here.' And they ascended to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies saw them. In the same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. In the earthquake seven thousand men were killed, and the rest were afraid and gave glory to the Elohim of heaven" (Rev.11:7-13, NKJV).

"Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous: seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them the wrath of Elohim is complete. And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of Elohim. They sing the song of Moses, the servant of Elohim, and the song of the Lamb, saying: 'Great and marvelous are Your works, Yahweh-Elohim Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the set-apart ones! Who shall not fear You, O Yahweh, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy (set-apart). For all nations shall come and worship before You, for Your judgments have been manifested'" (Rev.15:1-4, NKJV).
