All of us at some point wonder if there is a reason why we are born on a certain day. Far too many people seek for astrological significances. Yet we have been brought into the world at a specific time and location for very precise reasons. I have asked Yahweh more than once if there was a purpose for the date of my birth, which as it happens, is today. And though He has never spoken to me audibly or given me a vision or a direct revelation, I have discovered that there are reasons.
Today, in 1914, Archduke Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary was assassinated Serbian nationalist Gavrillo Pincip which was the spark that set off the First World War that was to make the 20th century one of the bloodiest centuries ever that would change everything. Today, in 1919, the humiliating Treaty of Versailles was signed that guaranteed another World War. Today in 1922 the Irish Civil War began and today in 1967 the Israelis annexed East Jerusalem. And the interesting thing is that I have strong personal connections to all four of these events.
I have a passionate hatred of injustice and throughout most of my life I have felt an anger over what happened in 1919 in Versailles. It was an act of revenge, no more. There needn't have been crippling wars in Europe in the 20th century and there needn't have been either Bolshevik or Fascist revolutions. The mess we are in today needn't have happened if Europe had pursued fraternity instead of petty national interests and aggrandisements. As it is, I believe that most, if not all of the wars of the last century were deliberately engineered by devilish men in order to destabilise the world, create anarchy and devastation, in order to ussher in a one world dictatorship under the control of a tiny money-grabbing and -controlling satanic élite. The Bible speaks of such a happening...just before Christ returns, so none of this is unexpected.
Today that élite is on the verge of world control. Or at least it thinks it is. It has been more successful in some countries than in others. Sometimes it overreaches itself, suffers defeat, and has to withdraw and regroup. Some of its victories have been by the skin of its teeth. It thinks it is infallible but it is not. Like all man-made systems, it not only has its vulnerable underbelly but it is always subject to what Yahweh-Elohim permits.
People in general are not at all unlike the élite that seeks to enslave it. It is cocky, arrogant, aggressive and self-seeking. Arrogant in victory, it is craven in defeat. It denies the existance of God or of it doesn't, believes Him to be weak and ineffective compared to the fallen angel (Satan) which they serve. And they make the same mistakes again and again, generation after generation, in spite of believing how clever they are.
I loathe almost everything that 28 June has come to stand for. Assassination to provoke war, unjust 'peace' treaties, civil war and counterfeit claimants. Murderous nationalism I despise. Degrading, graceless and humiliating behaviour by conquerors, amongst which was to destroy Christian Prussia. Civil war (I am part Irish). And false religious systems - the Israeli Republic is not Biblical Israel. So why was I born on 28 June? I believe, to speak out against these things so that Yahweh's heart and mind might be made known. For as smeone once said, nothing is settled permanently unless settled amicably.
Maybe there are other reasons that I don't know of as to why I was born today. I just know that my desire is to serve Yahweh my Elohim in whatever way I can and to make known the wonderful salvation of His Son, Yah'shua the Messiah!
