"Therefore, if perfection were through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the Torah), what further need was there that another priest should rise according to the order of Melchizedek, and not be called according to the order of Aaron? For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the Torah. For He of whom these things are spoken belongs to another tribe, from which no man has officiated at the altar.

And it is yet far more evident if, in the likeness of Melchizedek, there arises another priest who has come, not according to the law of a fleshly commandment, but according to the power of an endless life. What has the recreation of a Sanhedrin, temple, Levitical Priesthood, animal sacrifices and the like have to do with biblical prophecy and the Gospel of Yah'shua the Messiah? Absolutely nothing at all. The whole exercise is a counterfeit and antichrist. Our eyes are "on the Jerusalem above" (Gal.4:26, NKJV) for the Jerusalem "which now is, and is in bondage with her children" and represents Hagar, not Sarah (Gal.4:25, NKJV).

As an exercise in reconstruction of the past and of the Old Covenant this is certainly an interesting project but as to having any religious or saving value, it has absolutely none at all. It is as useless as circumcision. Yah'shua told us that temple worhip after the Old Covenant was finished for ever and that from now on people would worship "in spirit and truth" (Jn.4:23-24).

Messianics, who have been seduced by Zionism, are being led into serious error in the search for an Israelite state to which they can belong, an Israelite temple with animal sacrifices which they hope to one day participate in (see The Temple of Ezekiel - Ezekiel 40-48), and a Covenant that is over which they want to perpetuate by adding Messiah onto it. As a Messianic myself, I have to say this is a dangerous error and a denial of the atoning blood of Messiah Yah'shua. It is a denial of the Way to Salvation.

I am sure that the organisers of the Korban pesach are hoping that this will lead to a revival in Judaism. I am sure it will amongst the Orthodox Jews and probably make them even more fanatical and extreme. And if a few miraculous signs can accompany the first one this year at their Korban Pesach I can forsee many Messianic Jews abandoning Yah'shua as their Messiah and returning to Judaism. Many have already done so, who were not born again and/or who subscribed to Messianic heresies such as denying that Yah'shua is Elohim (God). Christian Zionists, who view God's people as consisting of two separate streams of 'saved people' - born-again Christians and Jews - will see this as a vindication of their beliefs and hopes. I know of one Messianic Ministry which claims (along with many others, Messianics and Evangelicals alike) that Jews are already saved by birth and do not need the salvation of Yah'shua! Don't be deceived by these lies, for these are the things that the devil delights in.

As Messianic Evangelicals we endeavour to rescue Messianics who have fallen for the lies of the "synagogue of satan" (Rev.2:9) and to remind them of these words of Yah'shua:

"'These things says He who is holy, He who is true, "He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens": "I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie -- indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you" (Rev.3:7-10, NKJV).

My counsel is that what is happening in the Israel Republic and among unsaved Jews be entirely ignored for it has absolutely no significance to us whatsoever. Keep your eyes on Yah'shua (Jesus), and Yah'shua only, for He alone is the source of all salvation, eternal life and emet (truth). Though salvation was once "of the Jews" (Jn.4:22) those who refused the Messiah were cast off. Today salvation is of anyone proclaiming the true Gospel of Yah'shua the Messiah (Jesus Christ):

"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing" (John 15:4-5, NKJV).
