Section 178
Abortion and Repentance
Abortion, or murder of the unborn, is a serious crime against God and unborn child- ren, and those coming into the covenant who do not adequately repent shall not be baptised. The signs of true repentance are given to preclude false or token repentance --preach against what you have done wrong! To be a true leader in Zion means to bear the sorrow or burden of the people's sins until all are reconciled and free in Christ. The Church at this time is likened to "hanging flesh" -- weak, feeble and almost useless. New flesh will be grafted onto the bones. Those who do not repent are like spiritual orphans, rejecting the spiritual fathers in Israel (1 Cor.4:15) to their own loss. If the saints knew to what they had been called they would not be so indifferent [Skøyenåsen, Oslo, Norway].
1. Q. Under what circumstances should a women who has had an abortion be admitted into the Covenant, O Lord?
Abortion is Murder of the Unborn
2. A. As I have told thee before, abortion of the unborn is murder and is an abomination in the sight of God.
3. Consider well what ye shall do, for what ye join unto the Covenant ye join unto yourselves also;
Forbid Unrepentant Murderers
4. Shall the saints be joined unto murderers, and partake of My emblems with them?
5. Shall the saints also be joined unto fornicators, liars and cheats also?
6. Behold, I, the Lord, will not unite Myself to any who are wilfully unclean and rebellious, for I did not labour to create a house of iniquity but a House of Holiness.
Full and Complete Repentance Mandatory
7. If any come unto you seeking to enter the Covenant who have murdered their unborn, ye shall not admit them until they have come to a full conscience of [the enormity of] their crime and have repented with all their mind, might and soul.
The Signs of True Repentance
8. And if they have repented, they will manifest that repentance by a godly walk, sinning no more after their former sins, and speaking out against that sin when the world performeth it.
9. And they shall do so with conviction, power, firmness, and loving kindness.
10. Behold, if a man or woman hath sinned in a matter, and hath truly repented of his former ways, then he will speak out against his former ways, not in guile that he may be approved by those in his fellowship, but for righteousness' sake.
Token or Genuine Repentance?
11. By this key ye may know if a man's repentance is genuine or not, or whether he hath repented in token but not in substance.
12. And if a man continueth to sin in his old ways after he hath repented, then behold, it is as though he had not repented at all;
13. And oft a man hath not repented at all, either not comprehending his sin or in order to please his fellows by repenting in token.
Flee Hypocrisy
14. Beloved ones, do not imitate any spirit of hypocrisy or shallowness, but see that ye are true and your repentance full, for in no other way can ye be blessed by the fruits of true repentance, which are joy, peace, and love.
Zion's Leaders will Sorrow for Israel's Sins
15. My son, I have seen thy tears in behalf of the saints and have heard thy pleadings for Israel.
16. Be thou not discouraged but rather let thy mind and heart be focused on the object of thy salvation, and let not thine inner kingdom be disturbed by the works of the kingdom of darkness.
17. Whilst thou art in this sphere, beloved one, thy heart will always be drawn out, and sorrow will never be far away.
18. It is impossible to know the joy of salvation and not at the same time be aware of the sorrow of sin, separation and death, for those who are not saved will always be around you.
19. And if thou lovest them, thou shalt always sorrow for them, until the day when all things are reconciled and man no longer warreth with himself.
20. And if thou art unable to sorrow for them it is because thou doest not love them;
21. And if thou doest not love them it is because thou art unaware of thine own awful state.
22. And if thou art unaware, thou wilt fall.
The Hanging Flesh of the New Covenant
23. Unto what shall I liken the New Covenant [today]? It is like a man whose flesh hangeth off his bones for want of use.
24. Therefore that which is not firm and strong I will strip away, yea, even with a great stripping;
25. And when the weak and useless flesh hath been stripped off, I will graft on new flesh, yea, sinews {muscles} in their perfect frame, that the bones may be built upon and the daughter of Zion arise.
The Unrepentant are as Orphans
26. Repent, repent, ye idle sons and daughters of the New Covenant, yea, each who hath not sought the Kingdom first but hath sought after his own pleasures, or ye shall become as orphans, having no spiritual fathers and mothers.
27. Fall upon your knees and confess your sins, and covenant with Me to no longer procrastinate the day of your repentance, but make all things aright.
28. Ye know not into what ye have been called, else ye would not be so slovenly and indifferent.
29. This is the Word of the Lord unto the [New Covenant] Church of God and to all of those assaying to become a part of her. Amen.
