Section 137
On Marriage and Truth
Revelation on the true order of Christian Marriage. What follows is an extract of a longer revelation addressed to a so-called "New Age Christian" refuting his doctrine that if a man did not sleep with his wife for one year that he was no longer married to her. The revelation begins with a general appraisal of what truth is. All truth reduces to a simple core which is the love of Christ. The love of Christ is truth, love, peace, intelligence, wholeness and life. Test all doctrines and find their core. All true marriage starts with the marriage vow or covenant. God's figurative marriage to Israel compared. The virtues of marriage are honour, integrity, steadfastness, faithfulness, obedience, purity and sacrifice. Be morally and spiritually pure [Oppsal, Oslo, Norway].
Test All Doctrines
1. Thou shalt test all doctrines to see if they are of Me, saith the Lord, and this is the key by which ye may unlock the truth and expose error.
2. All things reduce to simple truths, and at the heart of all truth is the Son; and the Son is love (1 Jn.4:8,16).
The Core of All Truth
3. The centre of truth is love, and love exalteth the Son, even as the Son exalteth the Father.
4. Therefore take hold of every doctrine and reduce it to its core (Jn.7:16);
5. If I am at the centre, it is of Me. If I am not, it is not of Me, and shall be rejected.
6. And I am truth, love, peace, intelli- gence, wholeness and life.
True Christian Marriage
7. I am the Master and Creator of all true marriage, and I lie at the core of the fullness of the relationship between husband and wife.
8. Any marriage centred on Me reduceth to Me;
9. For this cause I have told you to love me more than father or mother, husband or wife, brother or sister, son or daughter, friend or enemy.
10. Verily, verily, I say unto you: What is marriage?
11. Marriage is a condition of mind, heart and flesh;
12. But the greatest is mind, or pure intelligence, for all [true] marriage beg- inneth in the mind through a covenant; and all marriage endeth in the mind also.
13. Marriage is pure mind or will, otherwise it would not endure;
14. And marriage only endeth if iniquity hath ripened, that it is torn asunder, and is no more in mind, heart or flesh, by standing in open rebellion against all that is pure and holy.
The Marriage of God to Israel
15. If ye desire to understand the bond of marriage consider the marriage of Yahweh {Jehovah} unto the House of Israel.
16. On what conditions did I divorce Israel? When she was fully ripened in iniquity and had become cold, blasphemous and wicked.
17. Yet I received her back for I, the Lord, broke not My Covenant unto Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
18. Israel played the harlot, and divorced herself, being the violator of the Covenant.
19. The foundation of all true marriage is spiritual, not carnal.
20. All truth reduceth to love, saith the Lord; and what is love?
The Virtues of Marriage
21. Honour, integrity, steadfastness, faithfulness, obedience, purity and sacrifice, yea, all that cometh forth out of the most noble nature of man -- and this is the seed of Christ.
22. Anything else is of a lower order, and is not wholly of Me.
23. Therefore do not be deceived in any wise by false doctrine, ye saints of the New Covenant, but seek the love of which I have spoken, for against it nothing can stand.
Be Morally and Spiritually Pure
24. Cleave unto all that is pure1 and holy2 always, little ones, and flee from adultery, fornication and every sexual vice.
25. Seek that which is spiritual and noble, for God is spiritual, and then all that you do will become pure and holy. Amen.
