Section 119
Prophecy on the Reunification of Germany
Prophecy on the reunification of Germany. This revelation, which was received on a ship en route from Oslo to Frederikshavn in Denmark on 17 March 1989, was the first major national prophecy of the New Covenant Church and was fulfilled a few years later as communist régimes collapsed in Eastern Europe, and the former German Democratic Republic (East Germany) was annexed by the Federal Republic of Germany (West Germany) after a referendum. The revelation begins with an historical synopsis. Germany was a great land and blessed because of the price in blood it paid to bring forth the Reformation but fell into the depths of depravity under the Nazis. After her punishment and atonement, God will permit the reunification of that great land, for good and evil. Some have interpreted "several parts" to refer to more than West and East Germany, possibly some or all of the territories east of the Oder-Neisse line. The Church is to be established in Germany and the elect of Israel are to be gathered out. Translation into German is commanded. Two missions were undertaken to Germany in the early Church, to Hamburg and Berlin (West and East). Other prophecies have been received on Berlin (NC&C 279) [M/S Holge Danske, Skagerakk].
To Israel Scattered in Germany
1. The Word of the Lord unto the children of Israel scattered in the land of Germany, from the west unto the east, and from the north unto the south, and to all the parts thereof:
Great Land, Great Fall
2. Great was thy light, and great was thy fall in the shadow of death.
3. Thou oppressed many and wast carried away captive by thine enemies on account of thy works, but grace hath returned unto thee as of old.
4. Behold, the law of restoration requireth that evil is brought back for evil, and good for good; just for just, and righteous for righteous.
5. Pride slew thine honour and thy greatness as a nation, and evil divided thy nation into many [parts].
Mother of the Reformation
6. Yet through thee, O House of Israel in the [southern] borders of the north countries, brought I forth the Reformation, yea, and thy blood wast spilled that the beginning of a new light might dawn, which blood sanctified and justified thee.
7. And this light hath issued forth into all the world.
8. Highly favoured of the Lord were the princes of the south, and highly favoured shall they be again if they return unto Me for the greater light of the New Covenant.
The Nazi Oppression
9. Where once they were instruments of oppression and cruelty they may now become instruments of holiness and righteousness, bringing the redemption of My Word in place of swords, as in days of old.
Germany Great and Reunited
10. The land of Germany shall again arise in Europe and her several parts shall become one {reunited}, for good and evil, even as each will.
11. For that which she sendeth out shall return unto her again, and be restored unto her.
12. Therefore let her choose the better part in the last day, and be saved.
13. Let Colonies of the Church of God be raised in the great cities of the plains and in the cities of the mountains, even unto the [very] borders of Ephraim.
Translate into German
14. Let My Word be translated into the German language and sent about, that the firstborn House of Israel may hear and know that their Redeemer-God is in their midst.
15. This shall be sufficient for now. Amen.
