Egotism

Christians are taught by Yah'shua (Jesus) to die to self. We are to lose our life and in so doing gain it. That is a Hebrew way of saying 'stop being egotistical' because it gets in the way of the spiritual life.

There are five egotistical trademarks, as it were, that kill the spiritual life, relationship with Yah'shua, and relationship with spouses and other believers. If you can fix these in your mind and avoid them like the plague, you'll conquer egotism and be set free:

• 1. LOOK AT ME
• 2. LISTEN TO ME
• 3. LET ME WIN
• 4. GIVE ME MINE
• 5. I NEED PRAISE
