The Bullet
A Prophetic Vision

    "O Yahweh, my heart is not proud, nor are my eyes haughty; I do not busy myself with great matters or things too marvellous for me. No, I submit myself, I account myself lowly, as a weaned child clinging to its mother. O Israel, look for Yahweh now and evermore" (Ps.131:1-3, NASB).

Why the Sudden Activity?

People are asking why I am suddenly writing a lot again after a quiet period from August 2012 to November 2013. The simple answer is that a great deal is happening in both the invisible (and especially invisible) and the visible, and the Ruach (Spirit) is moving me powerfully to convey it all. I am already far behind on what Yahweh wants me to share and I am doing my best to catch up. Heaven is on the move and so are its qodeshim (saints, set-apart ones).

No Commentary

The following vision, which I saw in the morning five days ago, is symbolic of an important action. I present it as I saw it and no more, without explanation, for its meaning is only for a few, the key to its understanding being available only through the Ruach (Spirit).

The Prophetic Vision

I was holding an old bolt-action rifle, like a Lee-Enfield, with my left hand, the kind I had used in the army. It possessed a small magazine able to hold a maximum of 5 cartridges only. The magazine was empty. I was given a single cartridge, brand new, and unlike any bullet I had ever seen before. Though I could not see into the rear part naturally, I discerned that within it was a high tech electronic guidance system of some sort. Though I would aim and fire it using this old rifle, the shell would be guided further without my assistance. I marvelled at this bullet because it was unlike anything I had ever seen before. The breech of the rifle was already open, the bolt slid toward me. I took the cartridge, laid it in the breech, but before I could push the bolt forward to close, load and fire it, the vision ended.

Conclusion

Anyone to whom the Ruach (Spirit) speaks concerning this vision is welcome to privately contact me. I would simply ask that those who have been called to this work now stand in readiness. Amen.

INTERPRETATIONS

Only two people contacted me, independently of each other, and their interpretations broadly agree with my own, emphasising different aspects of the vision. They are given in the order in which they were received.

Interpretation #1

I have seen your vision before myself. I believe the rifle is symbolic of two things, however, both are connected and the same thing, which I will explain...not that I have to, you probably already know.

Firstly the rifle symbolises the prophetic gifting/office. The five cartridges immediately turned my attention to the five ministering rôles, apostle, prophet, teacher, evangelist and pastor...and we know the purpose of those five rôles are to bring people into the unity of the faith, and to the fullness...so the purpose of this rifle has the same purpose.

Just like the prophetic gifting, this rifle delivers something, a bullet, which you are given, one that you haven't seen before. The bullets themselves are messages, words, dreams, visions, those things given to the shooter to direct to people- be that individuals, or groups, even nations.

The part about the bullet being new, it symbolises a new season of prophetic preaching/writing. You discerned the high tech guidance system, and knew that the shell would be guided without assistance...it was this part that spoke out the most to me, and it is something that few people understand. The action of pulling the trigger and shooting this rifle are an act of faith and obedience. We know that all we can do is aim and pull the trigger, but the only thing that can make that bullet penetrate the heart of a person is by the Spirit. The Spirit came to convict of sin, righteousness and judgement.

The second thing the rifle represents is the action of preaching, which I believe is pretty much the same thing as prophecy when in its truest form...because to preach, is to testify of Yah'shua, and the testimony of Yah'shua is the spirit of prophecy. We were commanded by Yah'shua to preach the gospel, be it that you street preach, preach on YouTube, preach through writing, or preach through songs, it is all the same, and the action of doing it is an act of faith and obedience, which is helped and assisted by the Spirit who uses those acts of faith and obedience in preaching, brings power to those acts (turns our mundane and simple bullets into armour-piercing bullets), and accomplishes an amazing feat in the heart of the reciever - an unbeliever or unregenerated believer/nominal believer.

There is no real power in the words that come from men, there is only power in faith and obedience. Preaching is the most foolish notion to those in the world, that is why most Christians don't do it, but Yah chose the most foolish thing to test our faith and obedience...it takes faith and obedience to shoot the rifle, it takes a certain insight/discernment to understand and know the hidden workings of the Spirit in the rifle, of how the Spirit works to reach the desired target, and to understand what Paul understood:

    "18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. .... And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of Elohim (God). 2 For I determined not to know anything among you except Yah'shua the Messiah (Jesus Christ) and Him crucified. 3 I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. 4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Ruach (Spirit) and of power, 5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of Elohim (God). 6 However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7 But we speak the wisdom of Elohim (God) in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, 8 which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Master (Lord) of glory. 9 But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which Elohim (God) has prepared for those who love Him.” 10 But Elohim (God) has revealed them to us through His Ruach (Spirit). For the Ruach (Spirit) searches all things, yes, the deep things of Elohim (God). 11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of Elohim (God) except the Ruach Elohim (Spirit of God). 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Ruach (Spirit) who is from Elohim (God), that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by Elohim (God). 13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit) teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Ruach Elohim (Spirit of God), for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. 16 For “who has known the mind of the Master (Lord) that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Messiah (Christ)" (1 Cor.1:18-2:16)

And also the words of Yah'shua (Jesus):

    "If you love Me, keep My mitzvot (commandments). 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever — 17 the Ruach Emet (Spirit of Truth), whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees [Her] nor knows [Her]; but you know [Her], for [She] dwells with you and will be in you. 16:8 8 And when [She] has come, [She] will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment" (John 14:15).

It all fits in together, prophecy, preaching, love, faith, obedience, and the Spirit, it all fits together and functions like a rifle sorry this was so long! (SP, Ireland, 19 January 2014)

Interpretation #2

The gun with the 'exceptional' bullet I feel represents the Holy Spirit - Yah's power. Only one bullet is necessary! There is a happening to take place. The "old" rifle is simply our human abilities, the guidance and accuracy of the aim is (and a great thing Elohim (God) is about to do) Elohim (God) being allowed to work through the human vessel (the rifle). The time is near for Yahweh (the LORD) to take aim but before you or any of us know when this is to happen... (the dream ended) The time is near but not revealed yet. A simple warning:

  • 1. He is in control over all;
  • 2. It is by His power;
  • 3. What He is about to do is imminent but in His timing!

Yah Bless! (FB, USA, 20 January 2014)
