I am, and Who But I?
Chag sameach Rosh Chodesh kol beit Yisra'el!
In this sixth month of what is a critical year for everyone, Yahweh's Davar (Word), as we approach Yom Teruah and Yom Kippur is very simple: though the enemy appears to have complete control and is winning victory after victory - whether in the world or in aspects of your personal life - so long as you are clinging onto Yah'shua (Jesus) and obeying His mitzvot (commandments) the enemy will be brought down in one day.
The 47th chapter of Isaiah, which I am directed to share in part with you today, contains the core and substance of the Davar (Word) we are to properly understand. In it, Yahweh proclaims the destruction of Babylon which in one minute occupies, as it were, a lofty throne, and the next is sitting in the dust (v.1):
"Down from your throne, sit on the ground, daughter of the Chaldeans; never again shall men call you soft-skinned and delicate" (Is.47:2, NEB).
As I read that verse it reminded me so vividly and pointedly of our modern culture that emphasises such meticulous body-care. We are a society of lotions and perfumes available now to even the commonest man and woman. In the West, at least, which is the principle incarnation of Babylon today, people walk around with soft-skins and reek like perfume factories, from presidents to ordinary workers. We have become "delicate" but not in a spiritual way. We have, in a word, become decadent.
All of that will end. Off-the-counter, pre-packaged food, easily accessible requiring next to no effort in preparation, will go, and all our fancy clothes of which we are so proud, our delicate chemically-cultivated beauty and charm, will be stripped away in a day:
"Take up the millstone, grind meal, uncover your tresses; strip off your skirt, bare your thights, wade through rivers, so that your nakedness may be plain to see and your shame exposed" (v.3, NEB).
Once all these artificial layers are stripped away, the daughter of Babylon will be seen to be who she really is - and I am speaking of both men and women here - nothing. For without Messiah we are nothing. That is where the only true beauty and delicacy come from, not from the pots and potions of Babylon. And as for all the sinning that goes on beneath this artificial layer of self-righteousness, Yahweh says:
"I will take vengeance, I will treat (make treaties, deals) with none of you, says the Holy One of Israel, our ransomer, whose Name is Yahweh of Armies" (v.4, NEB).
People have been asking me about timelines as we head toward the end of the year. I have no revelation on any except one, which is personal and is just a few days away. By next Sabbath I should have something to say to you about that, if permitted. As far as the economy is concerned, the next date to watch out for if 12 September because that's the day the German Supreme Court decides whether it is legal or not for Germany to participate in the massive bailouts of failing €urozone countries like Greece, Ireland, Portugal and Spain. You and I know it is illegal because the European Constitution says it is, but that is being ignored, as you also know. But if the German Supreme Court comes out and says the bailouts are illegal, then the €uro will collapse and with it every country except Germany which alone is holding the €urozone together. If the €uro collapses - which it will at some point - then the US dollar ($) and British Pound (£) will not be far behind and the huge economic collapse we have been predicting will occur much sooner than expected. If the German Supreme Court declares the bailouts are legal, then there will be a little time left, perhaps as late as April 2013 though I am inclined to think it will be sooner than that. I am still looking at December. Time will tell.
The second timeline marker is not an exact date but an event. If Israel attacks Iran, something 60% of Israelis are against incidentally, the whole Middle East will go up in flames, all the Arab countries would be united including the different Islamic factions (Sunni and Shia principally) in a frenzied, jihadic war of extermination, another holocaust will follow, the little Zionist state will be annihilated, and we could quite possibly find ourselves in a Third World War. If it happens, it will probably be before the 6 November US General Election, but it could happen at any time. If it happens, then the economic collapse will almost certainly be brought forward.
No matter when the next crisis hits, it is already time to make last minute preparations for your families. The freefall is not far off so don't delay further. Right now my eyes are fixed on the coming week even though this davar (word) is for the month ahead.
The words Yahweh spoke in Isaiah's day He speaks to ours also, both to those believers who will not repent or forsake Babylonian ways, and to our enemies. We must not forget Yahweh in all of this for it is He who decides what happens, and what does not. To the evil Babylonian system, He said and says still:
"Sit silent, be off into the shadows, daughter of the Chaldeans; for never again shall men call you queen of many Kingdoms"
(v.5, NEB).
Thrones of unrighteousness will be overthrown and will continue to be until Yahweh declares that all has been done that He has ordained for this season for this is not, as I have said before, the final overthrow of the Babylonish world system, which has one more final manifestation to make before it is finally wiped out. Nevertheless, there is to be a judgment this autumn (fall). And for a while the daughter of Babylon will "be off into the shadows".
Yesterday evening I was watching the 2012 Victory Parade that took place in Moscow last May. It was instituted by Soviet dictator and mass-murderer Stalin following the defeat of Nazi Germany in 1945. I also briefly looked at the same Victory Parade made a decade before, the very last one of the now defunct Soviet Union, and in comparing the two I was struck by just how similar the two parades were. Though the new Russian tricolour was now on display and the pictures of Lenin were gone, the communist hammer-and-sickle and the red star of socialism were still everywhere to be found. Not only that, but Generals were still called 'Comrade General' as they were back in Soviet times. Underneath the veneer of Russian nationalism and democracy the old Soviet Union still lingers. Comrade Lenin, far from being dead, has simply changed his clothes...or at least most of them.
The other day I was talking to my family about Nebuchadnezzar's statue and we got to discussing the legs and feet made of iron mixed with clay, which as you know represent the Roman Empire. One of my children asked when that Empire passed away and I went on to explain that it never died, but even after the sack of Rome by Alaric, simply mutated into the Holy Roman Empire, a union of Rome with Germany. That has since undergone several mutations of its own, viâ the Habsburg Empire, to become the European Union which was established by the Treaty of Rome on 25 March 1957. On 1 January 1958, the Day of Janus, the Roman deity with two faces, one looking back into the past and one looking into the future which the West wrongly observes as 'New Year's Day', the European Economic Community (EEC) was formed which was the forerunner of the modern EU. Those who observe New Year's Day are acknowledging, without perhaps realising it, the perpetuity of the Roman Empire with the Vatican at its heart. So, no, the Roman Empire has not passed away, but continues more powerful and more devilish than ever because it has adopted the Babylonian financial and religious system. Rome and Babylon are one. The West's invasion and occupation of Iraq, where ancient Babylon stood, was part of an Enemy imperial consolidation process, for Rome once possessed Mesopotamia (Chaldea) in ancient times. Though Obama has pretended to 'withdraw' from Iraq, 'Rome' is still very much in charge there.
Just as the Soviet Union dissolved itself and arose Phoenix-fashion into the European Union, transferring its centre to Brussels from Moscow, so Babylon has done the same, arising in the EU. With the Seat of Satan in Berlin, where it has been since the Soviet Union returned it to the DDR (East Germany), and Egypt now under Illuminati control, the triangle of paganism is complete: Rome-Babylon-Egypt. Not only that, but all the principal cities of the EU - Straßburg (Strasbourg), Brussels, Luxemburg (Luxembourg), Frankfurt and Rome, were all cities of the former Holy Roman Empire. With Germany the most economically powerful of the EU states, and being as Germany is not even a proper country but a corporation owned by the Illuminati of the United States, Britain and France, you can understand how the élite has exercised its control. So how the German Supreme Court votes will, mroe than likely, be determined by the evil cartel that has owned it outright since the Soviet Union sold its DDR share prior to reunification.
As you look at the map of the former Roman Empire (coloured red, above), you can see how the élite is reclaiming former Roman provinces in the Middle East and North Africa. With Egypt and Libya under its belt, and now trying to control Syria, it will not be long before all the former Roman Provinces will be under its control...if Yahweh allows them. Turkey, which wants to join the EU, Morocco, Algeria, Georgia and Armenia are practically all that's left to absorb, though Turkey is a NATO member and is tied in that way. They unsuccessfully tried to get Georgia into NATO and the EU but Russia responded by fomenting civil war in Abkhasia and South Ossetia. Russia is in a very real way still a major rival Illuminist faction.
Now it is not my purpose today to give an overview of the world situation and how it fits in with prophecy as there isn't time for that. I rather want you to be aware of the direction in which things are moving, and why - at least on one or two levels. There are many circumstances and people upsetting their plans currently, which is why the British are threatening to abduct Juilian Assange of Wikileaks who has taken refuge in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London. It is my prayer that Cameron's gangsters don't get their hands on him for he has done much to expose the élite's goings-on. May Yahweh bless and protect little Ecuador!
Yahweh will be doing big things this new biblical month but for now I am more concerned with local individuals and salvation. We have got to get out of the Babylonian system and be quit of its mark. Speaking of His own people Israel, whom He loved, Yahweh said:
"When I was angry with My people, I dishonoured My own possession and gave them into your (Babylon's) power" (v.6a, NEB).
We need to remember that Yahweh is more than willing, however much it pains Him, to dishonour His own possession when they break the covenant with Him, by putting them into the power of the Babylonian system. So the only way that we can break out of that power is by coming squarely under His covering again by repenting of our transgressions, putting our trust in His Messiah, and by obeying Torah. Though it distressed Him, as it would any true father, He allowed Babylon to do unspeakable things to His people in the hope that they would return to Him once they had had their fill of the Enemy. However, there is also judgment for the system that does evil to Yahweh's covenant people too!
"You (Babylon) showed them no mercy, you made your yoke weigh heavy on the aged. You (Babylon) said to then, 'I shall reign a queen for ever', while you gave no thought of this and did not consider how it would end. Now therefore listen to this, you lover of luxury, carefree on your throne. You say to yourself, 'I am, and who but I?' No widow's weeds for me, no deaths of chidlren'. Yet suddenly, in a single day, these two things shall come upon you; they shall both come upon you in full measure: chidlren's deaths and widowhood, for all your monstrous sorceries, your countless spells. Secure in your wicked ways you thought, 'No one is looking'. Your wisdom betrayed you, emniscient (all-knowing) as you were, and you said to yourself, 'I am, and who but I?' Therefore evil shall come upon you, and you will not know how to master it; disaster shall befall you, and you will not be able to charm it away; ruin all unforseen shall come suddenly upon you." (vv.6b-11, NEB).
There are, as I speak, multiple judgments going on, but this especially a warning to the élite. There is judgment on Yahweh's people for any persistent sinning that is going on, there is punishment by His people's enemy in the Babylonian system - those living in luxury and at ease at the top who think they are immune - but there is also imminent judgment for this evil system itself! "In a single day" Yahweh's wrath falls upon His enemies! No man knows when those days come, but they most certainly do. Whether it be believers in rebellion or the system persecuting believers, "'there is no shalom (peace) for the wicked', says Yahweh" (Is.48:22, NEB).
If you are going through this current spiritual buffetting, as I think all of us are, actually, then I am sure you are yearning for stability - an even course, a settled way, in the midst of such mounting confusion. How, then, to obtain it? Isaiah says:
"Hochmah (wisdom) and da'at (knowledge) will be the stability (emunah) of your times, and the strength of salvation (yeshu'ah); the fear of Yahweh is His treasure" (Isa.33:6, NKJV).
So how do we overcome the feelings uneasiness, or feeling unsettled or unstable? Interestingly, when Isaiah wrote, "wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times", the word we render "stability" is, in fact, emunah, which also means, what? Faith! Trusting! Not any old 'faith' or 'trusting', but specifically active faith in Yahweh. In Hebrew faith and stability are the same thing, because authentic emunah (faith) produces stability. It produces security, a state of feeling settled. It is only a lack of emunah (faith) in Yahweh and His Son that brings uneasiness and instability. Therefore to gain stability we must gain emunah (faith) and I suggest a good way to obtain that, especially in these troubled times, is to follow the counsel of George Müller of Prussia:
"Now, I saw that the most important thing I had to do was to give myself to the reading of the Word of Elohim (God), and to meditation on it, that thus my lev (heart) might be comforted, encouraged, warned, reproved, instructed…by breakfast time, with rare exceptions, I am in a peaceful if not happy state of lev (heart)".
Put another way:
"So then emunah (faith, stability) comes by hearing, and hearing by the Davar-Elohim (Word of God)" (Rom.10:17, NKJV).
Immerse yourselves in Scripture, as Müller counselled, and your emunah - your faith and stability will grow to meet the challenges of the coming days this month. This is Yahweh's promise to those who are repenting and getting out of the Babylonian system, and are having its marked removed from them. For those arrogantly and vainly trusting in themselves, who regard themselves as independent'kings' or 'queens' of their own domains, this is not the time to be repeating the word of the daughter of Babylon, "I am, and Who But I?", or to put it another way, "I am, and there is none but me" (Is.47:8, ISRV).
To these we must say:
"Repent now everyone of his evil way and his evil doings, and dwell in the land that Yahweh has given to you and your fathers forever and ever. Do not go after other elohim (gods) to serve them and worship them, and do not provoke Me to anger with the works of your hands; and I will not harm you" (Jer.25:5-6, NKJV).
"Repent, and believe in the besorah (gospel)" (Mark 1:15, NKJV).
