The Golem Mindset
Exposing the Talmudic Frankenstein

Unless you know something about the Talmud and Jewish mysticism - or have maybe watched X-Files - you have probably never heard of a Golem. I supposed the nearest equivalent to a Golem would be Frankenstein's monster. Yes, Judaism has its own Frankenstein with attendant folklore.

As those of you who have made any attempt at studying Hebrew will know, it is sometimes very hard to translate this language into English. For one thing, Hebrew and English have completely different verb systems. Whereas most Hebrew nouns are verbs in the present tense, this is totally absent in our own language.

There was, and is, a golem in the Bible but it is no Talmudic monster. It's to be found - only once - in Psalm 139:16 where golmi literally means 'unshaped' [1]. However, this Hebrew noun also implies action, and specifically, the creation of a shapeless form and has an inherent mystic meaning which doesn’t exist in the English noun:

"The Mishna expanded the use, referring the term to an uncultivated person. The Talmud (Tractate Sanhedrin 38b), Adam was initially created as a golem when his dust was "kneaded into a shapeless husk." From here on, the term evolved within the mystic circles of Judaism.

"During the Middle Ages, passages from the Sefer Yetzirah (Book of Creation) were studied as a means to attain the mystical ability to create and animate a golem. According to the mystics, all golems (the correct Hebrew plural would be glamim...) are created from mud, like Adam was. They were a creation of those who were very holy and close to God. These would gain some of God's wisdom and power. One of these powers was the creation of life. On the other hand, no matter how holy a person became, a being created by that person would be but a shadow of one created by God.

"It was believed that golems could be activated by the ritualistic use of various letters of the Hebrew Alphabet. In the stories of the Golem of Chełm and the Golem of Prague, a golem was inscribed with Hebrew words that kept it animated. The word emet ('truth' in Hebrew) was written on a golem's forehead. The golem could be deactivated by removing the letter aleph in emet, thus changing the inscription from 'truth' to 'death' (met means 'dead'; interestingly it was introduced into Hebrew from Persian). Legend and folklore suggest that golems could be activated by writing a specific series of letters on parchment and placing the paper in a golem's mouth.

"A golem is a mixed blessing. It is not intelligent. Thus, if commanded to perform a task, it will perform the instructions literally, displaying perfect obedience. In its earliest known modern form, the Golem of Chełm became enormous and uncooperative. In one version of this story, the rabbi had to resort to trickery to deactivate it, whereupon it crumbled upon its creator and crushed him" [2].

Whether a 'golem' was actually created or not or is just pure myth is hard to say though I have come across some pretty wild things in the occult. That demons could animate something like this is not entirely impossible though I am personally sceptical. The 'living dead', a human corpse animated by a demon is one thing, but the animation of formless mud is another. But what interests me more than any mystical or mythical golems is how the thinking that created them from a word in Scripture has warped Jewish thinking and is used to justify a segment of Judaism's murderous globalist ambitions.

Just as extremist Islam justifies its violence from certain passages in the Quran and from certaid Haddiths, so modern Zionism (both religious and secular) justifies its violent activities on the basis of a single short verse from the Book of Numbers:

"Harass the Midianites, and attack them" (Num.25:17, NKJV).

And the verse after this explains the reason for this violence:

"For they harassed you with their schemes by which they seduced you..." (Num.25:18a, NKJV).

The Talmud expanded this into a general ethical rule: haba leorgeha, hashkem leorgo, which can be literally translated as "he who comes to kill you, you wake up early to kill him." In other words, "kill before you are killed". In other words, the Rabbis expanded this to allow assassination even though the original Hebrew text in Numbers doesn’t mean 'killing'. According to the Rabbis, this assassination doesn’t demand any legal process. It is enough for you to feel someone is coming to kill you, in order for your killing him to be lawful.

"This is Pharisaic manipulation at its best. They took a verse convenient to their goals and expanded its meaning beyond any rationale. Then, they rejected any other verse indicating something different. For example, while analyzing David’s sparing of King Saul’s life, the Talmud (in Masechet Brachot 58:1) wonders at this, claiming David was morally expected to kill Saul in self-defense" [3].

This evil interpretation became the foundation for ethical judgments by Israeli soldiers today and explains the various extremes that it leads to, such as the killing of innocent women and children, that comes to be justified because they believe they are the 'chosen people'

"In their eyes, chosen people act with the will of God, and thus are always right, no matter what" [4].

This Pharisaic rationale based on twisted Scripture is not a new teaching. Indeed, it was in the background of Yah'shu's (Jesus') thoughts when He condemned violence of every kind. For this kind of perverted thinking results only in the endless cycle of killing which we see both in the Holy land and abroad, but it also creates an arrogant attitude that precludes living peacefully with neighbours. Sadly, this mindset has percolated into both the Messianic movement and into Christian Zionism and manifests in their intolerant and brutish attitude toward everything and anything non-Jewish. This unthinking, brainless Golem attitude has created so much intolerance and hostility that provoked needless violence historically. It was the same attitude that sent Yah'shua (Jesus) to the gallows and the first talmidim (disciples) to their untimely deaths. And it is an attitude that persists today which has made many Jews so unpopular.

Coming to Messiah Yah'shua (Jesus) requires a complete renunciation of this false religion (Judaism) and its heretical occultised and paganised teachings. This does not, of course, mean renouncing Torah but rather the religion that so abused and mutilated it. It is not enough to follow Hebrew festivals (however mutilated) and use Old Testament words but we must first and foremost follow the right messianic lev (heart). That is why the talmidim (disciples) were not - and are still not - a sect of Judaism (which Paul renounced - Gal.1:13-14) which was never the emunah (faith) of the ancients, including Moses.

Judaism is a Babylonian religion which, like Catholicism in its smothering of the emunah (faith) of the Messianic Scriptures (New Testament), has added layer upon layer upon layer of false doctrines, teachings and practices onto the Tanakh (Old Testasment) such as to make the religion of the patriarchs unrecognisable. That is why John the Baptist, Yah'shua (Jesus) and Stephen (to name three) came down so harshly on the Pharisees and their false religion, reserving the strongest of serpentine epithets for them.

We have to get well clear of all the false teachings and traditions of Catholicism, Protestantism and Judaism which are as chains around our spiritual necks. They simply poison the pure emet (truth) of Scripture. The provocative and chauvanistic Golem spirit must in particular be extirpated from the Messianic Movement which is infected badly by it. It creates blindness to emet (truth) and stirs up a murderous spirit not dissimilar to fundamentalist Islam. It drives out the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit) which brings shalom (peace) and goodwill to all men (Lk.2:14).
