Yesterday we briefly looked at the satanic calendar. One of the things you may have noticed is that any and every 'Friday 13th' is regarded as a High Satanic Day for perversions and sacrifices. This can occur from one to three times a year in the Gregorian calendar - indeed, any month's 13th day will fall on a Friday if that month begins on a Sunday.

What is so special about 'Friday 13th'? None really, but there are lots of superstitions surrounding it. Both Fridays and the number 13 are regarded as 'unlucky' by many. The pagan superstitious reasons for this are not as important as the fact that superstition is rooted in lies and fear; and if you believe in lies that lead to fear, you're opening up demonic doorways. The demons that drive satanists know this and therefore exploit it to the full.

As believers in the Master Yah'shua the Messiah (Jesus Christ) we are to have nothing to do with pagan superstitions. Our testimony is that "there is no fear in ahavah (love); but perfect ahavah (love) casts out fear" (1 John 4:18, NKJV). In other words, those who have yielded their lives to Messiah Yah'shua (Jesus) abide in His perfect ahavah (love), and if you abide in that perfect ahavah (love) which comes from the Messiah dwelling in your lev (heart), there is no cause whatsoever to fear any kind of unknown. We are safely in His hands.

That 24 hour period of time we call a 'day' has no spiritual or religious meaning whatsoever unless Yahweh has set it apart for something. We already know which times Yahweh has set apart as holy to Him, namely, Rosh Chodesh, the 7th day creation Sabbath (not the Roman 'Saturday' or 'Sunday'), and the seven annual festivals - there is no significance to any other periods of time. Satanists, secularists, astrologers, New Agers, Wiccans, and other religious people may have 'special', 'holy' or 'fearful' periods of time but these have no meaning whatsoever - they're not real. And once you start believing that they do, you are buying into a lie, sowing unnecessary fear into your lev (heart) and opening yourself up to delusions and demonic activity. Even believing that there is such a thing as one of the Roman days is a lie - with the same potential negative consequences. So, no, 'Friday' is not 'unlucky' simply because it doesn't exist - it was an invention of Roman pagans. And the fact that our Gregorian calendars are plastered with it means absolutely nothing at all. It isn't there in the real world of spirit.

The same is true of numbers. Numbers have no 'power' in them at all. They are simply abstract concepts. My owning 6 books, 66 books, or 666 books makes no difference whatsoever as far as the so-called mystical meaning of numbers is concerned. The European Parliament may have Seat #666 vaccant (because no one will occupy it, because of superstition) but that does not mean you will be 'cursed' or meet 'misfortune' if you should own it or sit in it as a European MEP. Numbers have no power of themselves. Only when you believe they do, and so believe in a lie, do you open a demonic doorway. 666 could just as well be 777 as 000 as far as numbers having any 'bad luck' associated with them are concerned. The fact that the name of the Antimessiah/antichrist adds up to 666 doesn't mean that '666' is a 'bad' number in and of itself. If it did, we would all have to rip out page 666 of our Bibles.

The Enemy plays on superstition and fear. The fact that the world, using the Roman Gregorian calendar, may believe that every 'Friday' the '13th' is a day potentially bringing 'bad luck', does not mean that we should. In fact we shouldn't. There's a Friday 13th on this Gregorian month in 10 days' time but it doesn't exist in reality - 'Friday 13th' is just an arbitrary human label for a 24 hour period of time. That's one reason we have got to get away from our pagan calendar and get back to Yahweh's Creation Calendar. In fact, that day is, in reality, the 20th day of the 10th month and the 5th day of the 2nd week. Nothing more. The fact that someone might go and deliberately, or even randomly, do something wicked on this 'Friday 13th January' does not mean that that proves 'Friday 13th' means 'back luck' for whoever is tempted to think otherwise, and so believe a lie. If something bad happens to you on that date, the truth is what happened was something bad happened on the 20th day of the 10th month and the 5th day of the 2nd week. There is no 'magical' significance to that particular day in time - none whatsoever no matter what anyone may actually concretely 'do'.

Once you start superstitiously believing in 'bad luck' dates, you are dabbling in occultism, whether you realise it or not. The enemy can then so play with you mind that you can get quite paranoid about it. Indeed, whole cultures are paralysed by these superstitions. In India, millions of Hindus refuse to do anything without first consulting with astrolgers (who make a mint, of course). And the enemy, knowing your fear, which has come about because you have believed in his lie, can then engineer 'bad' things on that particular day to reinforce that false belief and keep you in even greater bondage.

I have come across this phenomenon often in deliverance ministry. One lady I was helping was totally convinced that satanic covens were operating against her every Friday at 3 pm. At that time she would come under strong demonic attack, regular as clockwork, and we would be powerless to help her. The reason? Because she believed in such a strong lie, reinforced week after week every year for many years, that nothing would convince her that she was not the special object of attention on that particular day. That reinforced lie created such a demonic stronghold that she refused to believe that covens were not involved, and demanded that we pray against these imaginary 'covens'.

Two things I want to say about that. First, I am not saying that covens of satanists don't exist or gather to send curses out against their enemies, because they absolutely do. Second, I am not saying that what she experienced in terms of her demonic oppression wasn't real (as an atheistic psychiatrist would claim) because it was - I was even shown in vision the demon operating against her. What I am saying is that she was operating out of a whopping big lie that was a combination of her pride at being someone 'special' because of the belief that so many people (satanists) would devote so much time and effort to regularly torment her every Friday at 3 p.m, and the fear that was generated out of that very real torment, that she would not consider any other alternative reality. The intense pain and suffering she experienced simply reinforced the lie and made deliverance impossible.

The key to deliverance is always emet (truth) and the saving power of Yah'shua the Messiah (Jesus Christ). Superstitious belief is a huge obstacle to deliverance. Now sometimes victims of SRA (Satanic Ritual Abuse) can be programmed into believing all kinds of lies that are the grounds for their demonic oppression. Getting Yah'shua (Jesus) to expose the lie is the first and most important job of the minister. Most people who are victims of demonic oppression have, within the basket of lies they believe, that they are someone 'special' requiring 'special' treatment, and not untypically they believe the deliverance minister is ignorant and that they know best as to what needs to be done. And they ususally make it far more complicated than it really is. This pride-based lie sabotages so much deliverance. The lady with the 'Friday 3 pm' problem had a huge pride issue. She had been a notable occultist with quite a reputation that had fuelled her vanity over the years and even after accepting Messiah she still wanted to be treated as someone 'special' - 'an ex-occultist of prominence' who was dramatically converted to Messiah who has 'special problems' requiring 'special extra attention' - she suffered from the 'Look at how important I am' character defect that continued to give the enemy legal grounds against her.

You'd be surprised how many people are spiritually paralysed and crippled by 'Friday 13th'-type lies. In fact, it has been shown that people are actually safer on Friday 13th because they are more careful on account of their superstition! There are people who are rendered spiritual wrecks because they keep seeing certain numbers like '333' or any number. Yes, there are numbers with prophetic significance in Scripture but that does not mean that numbers have inherent 'powers' any more than certain letters or words are believed to, as in the Jewish occult mysticism of Kabbalism. That goes for both 'positive' numbers like '7' as well as 'negative' ones like '6'. Wearing 'positive' talismans such as '777' as opposed to 'negative' ones like '666' does not mean you are attracting 'powers' because of them. It is the belief that they mean anything at all that attracts demonic powers. You shouldn't be thinking that way at all.

Believing that the sound or spelling of the Name of 'Yahweh', 'Yah'shua', 'Yeshua' or 'Jesus' in any way 'saves' it likewise occultism, and there are many who come out of satanism who continue their superstitions thinking that Christianity is a type of 'white magic'. I had a lady come for deliverance to me recently who had this problem - she had gone to pseudo-'Christians' who were using the Name 'Jesus' magically mantra-like. She had experienced some release at first but subsequently became more oppressed than ever. And no wonder. She had not understood what the Besorah (Gospel) was at all. Deliverance is not a power game involving gnosis (knowledge) or 'controlling' demons by using the 'right prayers' but it is the act of total surrender of the human lev (heart) to a Person, Yah'shua (Jesus). That Person has Power for sure - mighty power, in fact - but it is not obtained the way the occultists seek it. Yahweh's conditions for deliverance into His Kingdom are completely the opposite to Satan's conditions for initiation into the dark mysteries.

In fact, did you know, that 13 is a very positive number in the Bible? And the fact that to satanists 13 is 'special' and 'anti-Christian' is only because their controlling demons are playing on the fears of believers still steeped in pagan superstition! Hebrew leap years have 13 months, the 13th month symbolising Dinah, the daughter of Jacob (the other 12 months are for the 12 sons or tribes of Israel) - yes, the patriarch Jacob providentially had 13 children! (See The Harmony of Divine Time). Did you know that Yahweh prescribed 13 bulls to be offered in sacrifice at Sukkot under the Old Covenant? (Num.29:13-14) (See Sukkot #2 - The 13 Bulls: Mystery of the Tabernacles Sacrifices). Indeed, 13 symbolises Yahweh in union with 12-Tribed Israel and Yah'shua (Jesus) in union with 12-Tribed Messianic Israel! But because we have been programmed to think of 13 as somehow 'negative' we are often blinded to sublime truths.

Tomorrow we are going to look at a symbol that has also been 'demonised' by the superstitious because of lies fed to them by the enemy - this time, an animal symbol, the goat. More then.
