"Those of the people who have insight shall give understanding to many...Some of those who have insight shall stumble, to refine them, and to cleanse them, and to make them white, until the time of the end..." (Dan.11:33,35, ISRV).

Now I had never seen that scripture before! This is a prophecy about teachers and prophets in the end-times. Part of the refinement and cleansing involves stumbling! Not that we should 'choose' to stumble (God forbid) any more than we should 'choose' to sin so that grace might abound (Rom.6:1), yet we see Yahweh has a purpose in permitting this to happen. It is a consolation for those who may have stumbled.
