Reality or Fantasy?
We Must Choose Yahweh's Dual Reality
When you watch something with your natural eyes in the natural world you are compelled to acknowledge it as reality. It is a part of emet or truth. When you watch a play or a movie you are compelled to believe it in order to interact with it - at least to some degree. But is it real? No, it is fantasy. But you make connections with variouis carnal appetites - it is a fuel to the lust for power, to pride, to vanity...to many things. The images we see on TV are imaged on our mind and stored. We remember all we see. There we are programmed to think and respond. It is gradual brainwashing. Our attention is occupied, our focus altered.
Reality has two components - what we see with our natural eyes in the natural world, and what is actually happening in the spiritual world which is invisible to the natural but not the spiritual eyes. Everything else is fantasy - untruth.
Our ability to imagine and fantasise is being used in the wrong way - we are supposed to use it to be creative in the real world, not create an alternative 'reality'.
Yahweh converts my being (Ps.23:3) - He adjusts perception to reality by marrying the natural me to the spiritual me - my soul - and then marrying that to Him. "The earth belongs to Yahweh, and all that fills it" (Ps.24:1, ISRV). To live in right relationship with Him I must seek the foundation of reality, which is His Name, for He does all things "for His Name's sake" (Ps.23:3c, ISRV).
"If you diligently obey the voice of Yahweh your Elohim and do what is right in His eyes, and shall listen to His commands and shall guard all His laws, I shall bring on you none of the diseases I brought on the Mitsrites (Egyptians), for I am Yahweh who heals you" (Ex.15:26, ISRV).
"You do not bring the Name of Yahweh your Elohim to naught, for Yahweh does not leave the one unpunished who brings His Name to naught" (Ex.20:7, ISRV).
