Essential Introduction
A. The First Principles of Holy Echad Marriage
6. The Seven Foundation Stones of Holy Echad Marriage
6.1 Before the Holy Echad Marriage (HEM) doctrine is expounded for you we must first of all lay down its foundation stones, all of which are necessary before we proceed:
- 1. That Yah'shua the Messiah (Jesus Christ) is Elohim (God) and everything that is said of Him in the Apostles Creed is true;
- 2. That the Bible (Protestant canon) is infallibly true in its original Hebraic autographs and that not one jot or tittle of it will pass away until everything prophesied in it is fulfilled (Matthew 5:18);
- 3. That it is impossible to see or enter the Kingdom of Elohim (God) until you have been properly born again of the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit) in your whole being (John 3:3);
- 4. That a sign of being born again is that the mitzvot (commandments) of Yahweh are progressively written on your heart the more of your life you surrender to Him and that another sign of having been born again and remaining in the new birth is joyful love of and obedience to all the commandments (John 14:15);
- 5. That a sign of one who truly belongs to Messiah (Christ) is a genuine love for all people, no matter what they believe or do (whilst hating all sin), a willingness to admit that there is much overcoming of the flesh to do, and a passion to put the carnal nature to death so that Messiah (Christ) can fully dwell in and use us to His glory and not our own (John 15:12; 1 John 5:4);
- 6. That a sign of one who truly belongs to Messiah (Christ) is a passion for the truth and a hatred of all lies and traditions that distort, hide or suppress that truth (Ephesians 5:9);
- 7. That marriage is holy (set-apart) to Elohim (God) to those who love Him, that He is the First and most important part of all true marriage that makes it and binds it, and that thus lived becomes a mystical image of the union between Messiah (Christ) and the Messianic Community (Church), which is indivisible and eternal (Ephesians 5:22-33; John 3:29; Revelation 21:9).
6.2 If you cannot accept any one or more of these doctrinal foundation stones please return to the main page and research these questions out until you are satisfied as to their truthfulness before proceeding or exit the website:
6.3 If you are 100% in agreement with these seven foundational principles then we invite you to move on to the next page:
