Though members of NCAY are not Messianic Jews we do have a lot in common with them as Torah-observant Messianic Israelites. Whereas Messianics from an antinomian background tend to draw flak from their former church brethren, Messianic Jews are often viciously attacked by their former non-Messianic Jewish community, and especially from Orthodox Judaism. The latter, together with Conservative and other branches of Judaism, have created what they call an 'anti-missionary' network (Christians are known as 'missionaries' by them) whose aim is to convert Messianic Jews and Jews in the Messianic Israel movement back to orthodox Judaism and away from Messiah Yah'shua (Yeshua, Jesus). Their success is largely due to the use of deceptive methods which this page seeks to expose.
The Messianic Believer's First Response Handbook by Moshe Koniuchowsky - undoubtedly one of the best anti-missionary exposés. Sadly the author, who originally provided it free, has now commercialised it so it is no longer available unless you cough up $25 or more.
