One of Four Pupils Robbed

"25% of school children [in Norway] say that they have been involved in theft at school - 'A
serious signal for society', says the leaders for the Storting's [Parliament's] Education
Committee.
"A survey conducted amongst Norwegian school children reveals that 25% of school children from
the first to sixth grades have been victims of theft at school. 18% of the boys at youth school
(16-18 years old) confessed to have themselves been involved in theft."
SOME FACTS:
- About 1,000 High School and College students in Trøndelag have answered questions on conflicts
at school.
- 25% of pupils in High School say they have been caught for theft -- boys more often than girls.
- 25% of boys and 46% of girls in the 5th and 6th grades know of fellow pupils who steal.
- 18% of boys and 10.8% of girls in the 7th and 8th grades say they have participated in theft.
Comment
This is just one symptomatic example of the worsening morality in our western liberal society.
Ironically, it seems to be worse the richer a nation (like Norway) is. My own children have been
robbed at school several time despite repeated warnings and "morality lectures" by teachers.
The causes of this decline in morality are several but in my opinion the 'Hippie Revolution' of
the 1960s was the main impetus (see 'Comment' above in #3, "Fathers are Better Single Parents").
The basic Christian values of western society were openly challenged and a atheistic Darwinism
gradually replaced it.
Schools, most cases, are today little more than propaganda courses in social Darwinism and
Marxism, where Chrisian children as well as the children of unbelievers come out seriously
harmed. There is an urgent need for private Christian schools everywhere where the
correct values can be fostered.
For this reason the New Covenant Church of God sees as one of its first priorities the
establishment of such school in connection with both its firstborn and local colony programs.
Our children deserve better than the pig-swill they are receiving from our national leaders, the
descendants of the Hippie Generation, in their educational programs.
