FAQ 113
Where Our Questions Come From
NCW 11, August 1994
Q. Where do you get the questions that you answer in "Your Questions Answered" section of the New Covenant Christian Witness?
Some people ask us questions through letters. Others in our local church and people I talk with ask questions, and my family asks too. And some come from my wife's husband who desires answers himself! Some come from secular and religious books, magazines, and other sources, whose answers I feel are unsatisfactory. Many are asked us by people on the mission field.
Jesus answered alot of questions from many sources. So do I. God asked Job alot of questions (Job 38:3f) and there are about 300 questions asked in that book. And that maybe is why I personally find that to be one of the most interesting books of the Bible, because there you meet most of the typical questions asked about life by the religious and non-religious.
If you, the reader, have any questions -- great or small -- please send them in. They will be most warmly received. The New Covenant has a reputation for being unafraid to deal with any and every kind of question, provided they are asked in a non-aggressive and respectful way. "When the queen of Sheba heard about the fame of Solomon and his relation to the name of the Lord, she came to test him with HARD QUESTIONS" (1 Ki.10:1; 2 Chr.9:1). Bring on the hard questions!
