National Mission Banners
National Missions, as opposed to Local Missions (Local Dependent Assemblies), are individual or groups of countries. Banners for these, first introduced in 2017, tend to reflect the national colours and patterns of the countries the National Missions are located in.
A. THE SCANDINAVIAN NATIONAL MISSION
(established 1988)
The colours of the Scandinavian National Mission (2017) are based on the national flags of Norway, Sweden and Denmark:
B. THE SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONAL MISSION
(established 2014)
The colours of the South African National Mission (2017) are based on the national flag of the Republic of South Africa:
The Afrikaans-speaking community of South Africa has its own banner too based on their traditional colours:
C. THE MYANMAR (BURMA) NATIONAL MISSION
(established 2016)
The colours of the Myanmar National Mission (2017) are based in the Myanmar flag, not to be confused with the colours of Lithuania which are similar.
D. THE EAST AFRICAN NATIONAL MISSIONS
(established 2003 & 2013)
The colours of the Third East African Mission (2017) are based on those of Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi.
E. IRISH NATIONAL MISSION
The banner of the Irish National Mission (2017) is based on the four traditional provinces of Ireland: Ulster, Connacht, Leinster and Munster:
F. BRITISH NATIONAL MISSION
(1986-88)
The banner of the British National Mission (2017) is based on the four flags and coats of arms of the four nations of the United Kingdom - England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland:
