    4. Banners of the Patriarchate

The New Covenant Church of God, when fully organised, is led by a Council of 12 male apostles and 144 female apostles (PWNC 990328B:16-17) who are Yahweh's special emissaries to all the world. This council of 156 apostles is itself governed by the Presiding Church Patriarchate which is made up of three men and three women, whose banner, consisting of the horizontal tricolour of the Holy Order with the Priesthood Logo flanked by two Church lions on either side (designed by Lev-Tsiyon in June 1999), is shown below:

The Banner of the Presiding Church Patriarchate

Use of the Melchizedek Priesthood Logo (Star of David with Lamb) was discontinued in 2009 and will be replaced.

The Presiding Church Patriarchate is sub-divided into the Presiding Patriarchate, consisting of the three presiding patriarchs or apostles, and the Matriarchate, consisting of the three presiding matriarchs or apostles. The banner of the Patriarchate, consisting of the Holy Order's horizontal tricolour of black-white-blue with the Church lion superimposed in the middle (designed by Lev-Tsiyon in June 1999), is shown below:

The Banner of the Presiding Patriarchate

The banner of the Presiding Patriarch (designed by Lev-Tsiyon in 1995) consists of the banner of the Patriarchate surrounded by a red border and a thin golden frame line in the middle, as shown below:

The Banner of the Presiding Patriarch

The banner of the Second Patriarch (designed by Lev-Tsiyon in 1995) is the same as the banner of the Presiding Patriarch but without the golden frame line:

The Banner of the Second Patriarch

The banner of the Third Patriarch (designed by Lev-Tsiyon in 1995) is the same as the banner of the Patriarchate but with a pair of parallel red lines lining the white stripe of the tricolour:

The Banner of the Third Patriarch

The banner of the Matriarchate (designed by Lev-Tsiyon in June 1999) consists if the Holy Order tricolour with a red triangle in the red hoiste and a golden Church lion:

The Banner of the Presiding Matriarchate

The banner of the Presiding Matriarch (redesigned by Lev-Tsiyon and Sithra on 2 July 1999) consists of the banner of the Matriarchate with a red border and gold frame line identical to the Presiding Patriarch's:

The Banner of the Presiding Matriarch

The banner of the Second Matriarch (redesigned by Lev-Tsiyon and Sithra on 2 July 1999) consists of the banner of the Presiding Matriarch but without the gold frame line:

The Banner of the Second Matriarch

The banner of the Third Matriarch (designed by Lev-Tsiyon and Sithra on 2 July 1999) consists of the banner of the Second Matriarch with the red frame line replaced by a vertical red bar on the hoist:

The Banner of the Third Matriarch

The banner of the Apostolate (designed by Lev-Tsiyon in June 1999), representing the 12 Patriarch-Apostles (including the three members of the Presiding Patriarchate), consists of the horizontal tricolour of the Holy Order with a Church lion in the centre with the Priesthood logo superimposed on the lion:

The Banner of the Apostolate (12 Patriarch-Apostles)

Use of the Melchizedek Priesthood Logo (Star of David with Lamb) was discontinued in 2009 and will be replaced.

Each of the remaining 9 apostles has his own banner which is of the same pattern, viz. a horizontal Holy Order tricolour with a Church lion in the centre, and a Priesthood Logo in the upper hoist. Each apostle is distinguished by a letter of the Hebrew alphabet indicating his position in the Apostolic Council. The example below shows an apostle represented as the Hebrew letter Lamed:

Use of the Melchizedek Priesthood Logo (Star of David with Lamb) was discontinued in 2009 and will be replaced.

The banner of the 144 Matriarch-Apostles (designed by Lev-Tsiyon in June 1999), which includes the three members of the Presiding Matriarchate, consists of a Local Colony banner with a Church lion superimposed on the tricolour in the upper hoist and a Priesthood logo at the intersection of the red cross:

The Banner of the 144 Matriarch-Apostles

Use of the Melchizedek Priesthood Logo (Star of David with Lamb) was discontinued in 2009 and will be replaced.

Each of the remaining 141 Matriarch-Apostles has her own banner (designed by Lev-Tsiyon on 3 July 1999) which is of the same pattern as the banner of the 144 Matriarch-Apostles, minus the Priesthood logo. Each female apostle is distinguished by a letter of the Hebrew alphabet indicating her position in the Apostolic Council. The example below shows an apostle represented as the Hebrew letter Mem:
