The Arms of an
NCAY Local Branch
The current Arms of the Local Branch (Congregation, Assembly) were designed in September 1998 by Lev-Tsiyon and consist of the Mission (Dependent Local Assembly) Arms with a white dove clasping the top of the shield. The same design was formerly used by New Covenant Christian Ministries and other related NCAY ministries.
This is the third design, the two previous ones being used during the New Covenant Christian Fellowship (NCCF) period (1992-1996) as a logo for the Fellowship as a whole.
The Branch Arms are often used as a pulpit decoration as an alternative to the Patriarchal Cross. Traditionally Branch Arms are used on the pulpit during the Praise Fellowship service whereas the Patriarchal Cross is used for the Solemn Assembly (the main preaching meeting in the afternoon or at the end of the day) and the special Master's (Lord's) Supper services (in the afternoon or end of the day).
