Injustice
Dealing With It Jeremiah's Way
In Jeremiah 12:1-4 the navi (prophet) complained about injustice, saying:
"You are always righteous, Yahweh, when I bring a case before you. Yet I would speak with You about Your justice: Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why do all the faithless live at ease?" (Jer.12:1-4)
When he faithfully shared Elohim's (God's) truth, he was persecuted and despised.
Have you felt Jeremiah's pain?
I often feel this way about our present culture. People once tolerated immorality; now they celebrate it as Romans 1:32 says:
"Although they know Elohim's (God's) righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them" (Rom.1:32).
Christian values are mocked everyday.
If you lovingly share the Bible's teaching on perverse sexual behaviour, premarital sex, gender dysphoria, or abortion, you'll feel Jeremiah's pain.
If you trust Yahweh and defend His Davar (Word) you may face rejection from friends and family members. It happened to Jeremiah (Jer.12:6).
So how did Father answer Jeremiah's complaints?
He said:
"If you have raced with men on foot and they have worn you out, how can you compete with horses?" (Jer.12:5)
Yahweh understood Jeremiah's pain, but the race was getting faster and Elohim (God) wanted Jeremiah to pick up the pace and keep running!
Brethren and sisters, this message applies to us as well. Have faith! Be courageous!
The race is getting faster and harder, but the Davar Elohim (God's Word) will give us speed and endurance. Let's stand firm and run the race with Yahweh's strength.
Just watch Him work as you yield more to Him!
