01-2. NCCG, the World and
the Body of Christ
There are many views as to how the Gospel of Yahshua haMashiach (Jesus Christ) should be spread in the world and how the Kingdom is to be built up. Worse, there is considerable disagreement as to what the Gospel actually is.
New Covenant Christians have come from many different Christian traditions and some have been exposed to the cults and know what it is like to be in spiritual bondage. We are an unusual band of believers in many respects - hungry for the truth (and nothing but the truth), enthusiastic, deeply loyal to God's Word, the Bible, visionary, and above all, 100% committed to the Lord Yahshua (Jesus) and to each other.
We are very conscious of the fact that the world is slowly but surely heading for a one-world dictatorship and universal antichrist New Age/Catholic religion, and disturbed that the great majority of other Christians seem to be blind to this process. Like frogs slowly being boiled in water, Christians are being lulled into spiritual sleep and are completely unaware of the forces that are entrapping them. By the time many wake up, it will be too late. Accordingly, a loud prophetic voice is needed to awaken them from their slumber. Though many (as is to be expected) resent the intrustion of this loud voice in their lives, we are compelled by love for them to speak directly and unambigiously. And not just for Christians, but for everyone who does not know, or who has lost, true salvation. You will therefore find this a no nonsense website - we say what we mean, and mean what we say.
There are many thousands of articles on this and other NCCG sites which cover almost every aspect of the Gospel, philosophy, and the things that concern human beings in general. It is under continuous construction. Its resources are very small and so we value all the support we can get - money, friendship, and intercessory prayer. We are constantly seeking to improve the site as it mushrooms in size and value all suggestions, and especially workers who know how to program in HTML and Java, and would like to help us prepare materials to go on-line. Creating links to this site increases its exposure and outreach, so please do create links. We will also consider the creation of mirror sites that target particular aspects of this page (e.g. occultism, cults) and if you would like to help do this, please contact us.
We are on the internet by direct commandment and revelation from Yahweh in 1996. It was not a medium we had previously considered. The many thousands of visits we have received, and the positive response from believers and unbelievers from all walks of life and beliefs has greatly encouraged us and vindicated our call. This site also has many enemies, as is to be expected of a work of God, and there are some who have tried to discredit and destroy it by all the means that wickedness is famous for. We pray for them, knowing that many are desperately lost and trapped into systems of thought and belief they do not fully understand. Please help us to help them.
It is not necessary to be a member of NCCG to be a co-worker in this internet ministry. We have friends from many denominations and independent groups. If you are looking for some kind of ministry, we provide Internet Pastoral Care while you are looking for a church to settle down into. We sometimes receive enquiries from people who don't know which church they are called to be members of and so we offer them fellowship and council until they do. As Bible-believing evangelical Christians it should be understood, though, that when we do recommend churches other than our own, it is exclusively to Bible-believing ones. In this respect, we consider ourselves to be trans-denominational.
Many come to this site asking for help in leaving the occult or the various cults. Some fall between the cracks of denominationalism and seek for temporary shelter with us until they can find a spiritual home. And the remainder seek membership in NCCG. Please do not think that writing in to us necessarily means we believe you are seeking membership in our Church or that we will pressurise you into joining us. We will not. Building up our own congregation is only one of five commissions that Yahweh has given to us as we seek to be a blessing to the whole Body of Christ everywhere. Our desire is that you find the church where God has called you personally. Not everyone is called into NCCG. In some circumstances, where membership in NCCG is not possible because of distance, we encourage attendance in and support of a another local Church in addition to NCCG. Those churches we have most closely cooperated with have been Assemblies of God, Pentecostal, Baptist, Messianic, Sabbatarian, and independents, though we are by no means limited to these.
Now I would like to consider how NCCG works.
