2-04. Witnessing for Messiah
Shows Salvation
"You shall receive power when the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit) has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, even to the remotest part of the earth" (Acts 1:8).
These are amongst the last spoken words of Yah'shua (Jesus) on earth. It is His commission to all who know and love Him.
As a believer you are Yahweh's
"workmanship, created in Yah'shua the Messiah (Jesus Christ) for good works". When you witness for Messiah
"it is Yahweh the Father who is at work in you".
"By the power of the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit)", you give forth
"Elohim's (God's) message":
"that Messiah died for our sins...was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures". And
"that through His Name everyone who believes in Him has received forgiveness of sins".
As you obey the Master
"you should go and bear fruit", for He
"is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us".
Begin witnessing like Andrew who
"found first his own brother Simon...and he brought him to Yah'shua (Jesus)".
Go obediently like Philip whom Yahweh told to
"arise and go" and
"he arose and went". He met an unsaved man from Ethiopia. He
"opened his mouth, and ... preached Yah'shua (Jesus) to him".
"And this Besorah (Gospel, Good News) of the Kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a witness to all nations".
Do you see that you are to witness and the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit) is the source of your power to tell others of Yah'shua (Jesus)? If so, say:
"I will obey Messiah's mitzvah (command) to witness depending on power by the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit)."
Take the scriptures that have been taught you thus far (make a print out of these articles if you wish) and teach them to the unsaved person Yahweh leads you to. Read him or her the scriptures. Invite the one to whom you witness to be your guest in assembly (church) or a gospel meeting. Pray that he will confess Messiah publicly, be baptised, and serve Yahweh giving Him
"glory in the Messianic Community (Church)". Your witness is not complete until the one you win becomes a witness for Messiah.
