Pure (99.99%) silver and gold is not only an investment for times of inflation and economic collapse (see Prepping) but are always a viable alternative to digital and fiat cash. We happily receive donations in silver and gold and this is one of our preferred payments, particularly for larger donations. Realistically, in times of great persecution, this may be the only way to make donations in the future especially when believers are refused the use of government-controlled digital currency as prophesied in the Book of Revelation (Rev.13:16-17). In spite of attempts by some governments to discourage or demonise investing in precious metals, a return to gold-backed currency is definitely the trend of the wiser governments as this is a hedge against inflation. The BRICS block nations in particular use a basket of gold-backed currencies.

Because silver and gold are not cheap, this method is really only suitable for those willing to make a donation of $30+ unless you want to order a hardbound copy of the Olive Branch too.

Gold coins usually come in six denominations: 1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/10, 1/20 & 1/50 oz. The value of gold and silver is constantly changing depending on the markets so it is impossible to indicate their exact worth or cost here. Remember that both sellers and buyers make a small profit on beach transaction so not only will any coin you send be actually be worth slightly less than what you paid for it but we too will make a loss when we sell what you send in order to redeem its value. This you must factor in to your calculations.

The most commonly purchased gold coins (and therefore the safest as well as being preferred by us) are as follows:

Others brands (like the Spanish Bull/Carthusian Horse & Somalian Elephant - there are dozens of them) tend to be more expensive and are less easy to sell because they are less well known and are harder for us to sell without making a large loss. It's vitally important the coins are not less valuable alloys but must be 99.99% pure.

You should only buy from a reputable dealer (like Bullion By Post in Europe) as there is a lot of counterfeit coinage around. These forged electroplated coins basically consist only of a thin layer of gold ontop of some cheap metal weighing approximately the same as gold (19.320 g/cm³, normally gilded tungsten carbide (WC) rings - checking the exact weight is therefore important).

As of 11 June 2024 when this page was prepared, the approximate value of gold in 2024 was as follows:

• 1. 1 oz gold = €2,250 = US$2,400
• 2. 1/2 oz gold = €1,500 = US$1,600
• 3. 1/4 oz gold = €600 = US$650
• 4. 1/10 oz gold = €250 = US$270

It is possible (though harder) to get gold in thin perforated sheets which can then be subdivided into small fractions for trading. To make a small donation you would have to buy a whole sheet and break off the equivalent value of what you want to send. If it's 99.99% gold, we will accept these.

For those wishing to make smaller donations, silver is the best option but is still too much if you can only afford the $10 minimum for those genuinely hard up.
