Want to Meet Yahweh?
"Come and See!"
Continued from Part 3
The only proof of the pudding is in the eating and the best evidence of Christianity always is experience. "Come and see" has always been the invitation of both Yahweh the Father, Yah'shua (Jesus) the Son, and His talmidim (disciples).
"Come and see the works of Elohim (God); He is awesome in His doing toward the sons of men" (Ps.66:5, NKJV)
was the invitation of King David. "Come and see" (John 1:39, NKJV) was the Saviour's response when asked where He was staying so His enquirers could learn more, and "Come and see" was all the eager talmid (disciple) Peter asked when the man invited to learn more, Nathaniel, doubted (John 1:46). And when the apostle John had the heavens opened to Him, and when He saw the Lamb, Yah'shua (Jesus), open the first four seals of the Scroll, "Come and see" was the invitation made by each of the four living creatures (Rev.6:1-8) to see what resulted. And all responded to the invitations given.
"Come and see" is better always than argument because it takes a soul out of his head, from the pride of his own devious cleverness and into the complete reality of Yahweh's Presence where silly arguments instantly dissolve. That is why if people would only try Yah'shua (Jesus) for themselves, they would never condemn Him, because they will be totally convinced when they do. The problem is persuading people to try and it is against the open invitation, "Come and see", that the devil most actively works because he knows that once this has been done, he has lost one more soul.
So, please, "Come and see" - you won't be disappointed.
