Embrace Scriptural Rôles
Recognising Who We Really Are
There's a home to be run and children - who are growing up fast - to be raised. That's what wives and mothers are supposed to do [through their husbands], and anything that gets in the way of that is simply an invitation to chaos and spiritual anarchy. Yahweh has given us our [scriptural] rôles - there is nothing to debate. And my own liberalism [in the past] in this area has cost too dearly. Let us not receive Yahweh's grace in vain (2 Cor.6:1). Let us therefore say with Paul:
"We put no stumbling-block in anyone's path, so that our ministry will not be discredited. Rather, as servants of Yahweh we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance, in troubles, hardships and distresses; in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit) and in sincere love; in truthful speech and in the power of Yahweh; with weapons of righteousness in the right [righteous] hand and in the left; through glory and dishonour, bad report; genuine, yet regarded as imposters; known, yet regarded as unknown; dying, and yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed; sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing and yet possessing everything" (2 Cor.6:3-10, ISRV).
