Critique of

    A Timeline of NCCG's History

Click here to read my agenda for creating this website and my disclaimer

[My text in green, his in black, emphasis added by me. Whatever you see in red is C.C. Warren’s own comments.]

Only a small part of the History page is commented on here as there is little to say about most of it. If you want to see the complete History page, go to http://www.geocities.com/nccg_concern/historyindex.html. I sent this page to C.C. Warren asking for information about mistakes in the timeline of events. According to him, there are many small spelling and factual errors in this document which I'm not bothered about so I am only commenting on a selection of some of the ones that interest me, that is, ones with loaded words or serious mistakes. I am not bothering to add historical material that has been left out as I don't know much about NCCG history, nor am I in position to investigate it as the NCCG main webpage has been taken down and is now under construction. Thus, the material supplied to me below has mostly come from C.C. Warren who obviously knows his own history better than anyone else.]

August 1988 Warren relocates to Norway, after being delayed in coming due to "membership in another denomination and his call to witness there a little longer before resigning"(1a). One reference has Warren in Oppsal, Oslo with Erik Danielsen within the first few days of arriving, and another has him as arriving in Bergen.

[Apparently two different trips are being confused here. C.C. Warren initially arrived in Norway to visit Danielsen on a preliminary visit to organize the Bergen Branch, and then visited Holsjø to organize the Oslo Branch. He returned three to four months later to Oslo when he relocated to Norway.]

While at a "Soviet industrial memorial in Galicia", all of the NCCG printed tracts brought for the trip are given out in the first night.

[The printed tracts were given out in the Town Hall in L'viv after a lecture given by C.C. Warren, not at any "Soviet Industrial Memorial".]

June 26, 1997 Future compound in Sweden seen for sale in a brochure, and is visited by Warren for the first time.

June 27, 1997 Offer made for the future compound

July 1997 Compound purchased in the Värmland area of Sweden. The size of the compound is not specified in the source material, but the owned woodland surrounding it is measured in acres. The compound is described by Warren as... etc.

August 1999 Timeframe in which Warren states: "Yahweh commanded that this end-time work of gathering the firstborn should begin". This is related to the intent to establish compounds.

[A pattern is becoming obvious through nccg_concern’s writings. The more loaded the word, the more far-fetched the lie, the more he repeats it. First there was the word “recruit” in overview… over and over. Then the phrase “character assassination” found 40+ times in item #5. Now the word “compound” is repeated 3 times and the author uses no alternatives (e.g. place, house, collective etc). What this brings to mind is something A. Hitler said: “If you tell a lie long enough and loud enough the people will believe it”.

Now, as I have shown elsewhere, there is no “compound”. This is a loaded word that has no relationship to reality. The author obviously either has some sort of fixation with this word, or he is just trying to shove it down the reader’s throat.

Early 2000 Warren states: "...we were visited by a prophet from the United States who had been given the authority by Yahweh some 30 years before to bless and administer a special Lord's Supper which would be the instrument by which the end-time harvest would take place." End-time harvest in this context is related to the gathering of people into 12 compounds.

[According to C.C. Warren’s own writings, the end-time communities will be small villages. I don’t get what’s the matter with this compound-fixation.]

    Footnotes

(1a) The name of this denomination is not specified in the source material written by Warren. This author has not found much documentation relative to exactly what this denomination might have been. Circumstantial evidence found in other locations suggests that this involvement could have been related to:

group being renamed from "Restoration Christian Fellowship" in England to "Independent Church of Jesus Christ (of Latter-Day Saints) / ICJC." in Norway (this could technically fulfill the "membership in another denomination" reference in the source material).

involvement with the "St. Albans Private Tutorial College" he founded in Oxford

    the Latter-Day Saint (Mormon) movement

[Footnote (1a) is, according to C.C.Warren, guesswork. He was at the time attending a local Baptist Church whilst on his way out from formal membership of a church that is now called the Community of Christ].

The following are from a recent update which included some of the things which are not so much "history" of NCCG, but rather nccg_concern's observation. For that reason, they are studied in a separate section. All of it has been commented on extensively in different parts of this website, but for reference's sake, brief comments are included here also.

    March 12 - March 16, 2006

First "Satanist Attack" hoax observed by this author in which Warren pretends to NCCG members that "satanists" make a physical assault against the NCCG compound. Portrayed attack is dramatic, with many "satanists" reported as being killed by God all around the area of the NCCG compound and in areas around the world. Source archived here.

[Nccg_concern is in no position to know if it was a "hoax" because he obviously was not there. The only "evidence" he has of it being fictional is calling the Arvika police department and being told that there were no missing persons reports, which is hardly proof of anything considering that whether Satanists attacked C.C. Warren or not, they would not have reported missing people to the police. For more information, see Source Index and the archived article.]

    April 4, 2006

Gunnar Mjølsvik dies in local hospital

    May 5 - May 7, 2006

Second "Satanist Attack" hoax observed by this author in which Warren pretends to NCCG members that "satanists" make a physical assault against the NCCG compound. This time, it is a much less dramatic portrayal in terms of physical presence of satanists.  Source archived here (halfway down page, 6/22/2006 10:36 PM post).

    June 10, 2006

Local newspaper "Nya Wermlands-Tidningen" (NWT) publishes lengthy article about NCCG in which it is referenced as "Destructive, Dangerous, and Isolated". Language of article is Swedish. Reporter Gustav Sjoholm can be reached at NWT, +46 54 199680.

    Summer, 2006

Permission to homeschool school-age children at the NCCG compound ("Hillringberg Skolen") is denied by Arvika Kommun (government for Arvika, Sweden area). Homeschooling for school-age children at the compound is disallowed for the school year of 2006-2007. Arvika Kommun mandates that the school-age NCCG children are required to attend the nearby public school in Glava, Sweden. Arvika Kommun can be reached at +46 57 081600.

Warren makes complaint to the "Pressombudsman" (text archived here)

    July 4, 2006

Warren's complaint to Pressombudsman rejected (text archived here)

    July 9, 2006

"Deliverance From Demons Reception" (DFDR) disbanded, and functions of pre-screening applicants to "DFD" are transferred to "nccgcybercommunity" message board.

    July 26, 2006

Warren makes second complaint to the "Pressombudsman" (archived here. Annotated, more interesting text is here [Actually, it's not a whole lot more interesting. Nccg_concern seems to have gotten bored half way through it, but I recommend you read it anyway for the ever-entertaining twists of words he does and the funny allegations that because there is a forest around a house except for its front door, that house is effectively a compound. Saying that Rick Ross is a reputable professional made me laugh too.])

    July 27, 2006

"www.nccg.org" web site moved to another web provider. At that time, much of the formerly-available web content was not available on the new site. The old site has been spidered and archived by this site's author, but due to its size (52MB without images), it is not being made available on this site at this time. Contact nccg.concern@hotmail.com for more information about this archive. [There have been other indications that saving online material is one of nccg_concern's most happy hobbies. Personally, I consider that removing the old NCCG website is not good strategy on NCCG's side, because now it's much more difficult to investigate it properly and more people would have to trust nccg_concern who hasn't done very thorough work anyway. As I understand it, the main problem he has with the NCCG website is that if he reads too much he becomes hypnotised.]

    Week of August 13, 2006

Significant amount of material removed from "nccg critics" message board in the "nccgcybercommunity" group site, including all references to "nccg_concern", a failed, false prophecy (click here (http://www.geocities.com/nccg_concern/source/nccg-critics/What-The-Enemy-is-Currently-Doing-The-Nature-of-the-Second-Wave-Revealed.html) to view), and the "Methodologies and Tactics of Satanists to Destroy Reputations" article. General attacks on exit counselors still remain. Old message board content has been archived here (http://www.geocities.com/nccg_concern/source/nccg-critics). [The reason nccg_concern says the prophecy is failed and false is because he himself or Chad Zimmerman didn't fulfil it so it must have failed. At least that's how nccg_concern understands failed prophecies. More on that in the "letters from Z" and the "false" article.]
