    Update notes

    [My comments are in green.]

December 11, 2005. Editing is complete, content is done for now. Site moved to public location.
[The original website, as posted on December 11th did not include the information you now see on top about current members. It also did not include the Fast-facts page which is now number 1 on the list. It did not include notes about exit counselors. It did not include information about the groups active polygamy practice. It actually did NOT include ANY information that someone could not derive from a bibliographic research in the NCCG main website (www.nccg.org) material. There was no reference then to source material which is protected for the sake of privacy and other concerns. Everything looked very clean back then, when this website was first spotted by the NCCG leadership on December 16th.]

March 9, 2006. Significant updates include:

additional information about the Deliverance from Demons Chat sessions (overview.html)

modification of group structure .gif diagram to contain additional information about top tier (overview.html)

examination of and observations about the print version of "The Olive Branch" (beliefs.html)

additional information about polygamy policy and practice (beliefs.html)

edits to group overview to include more detail in several sections (overview.html)

    cosmetic changes

a few additions to group history page (historyindex.html)

added note for professional exit counselors

[This update was spotted by an NCCG member on March 16th and reported in the groups NCCG Cyber Community. This update included somewhat more spiky comments, and also material from sources unknown. Something which has to be mentioned about the Deliverance from Demons chat sessions: these sessions attract very few members per session, never to my observation, more than 10 people. Actually 10 is an exaggeration. Also, at least 5 of the regulars in these sessions are long known to the NCCG leadership. If one looks into what nccg_concern reports on the subject, he has not sat through more than one or two such chat sessions or he would bring a lot of attention on himself.]

May 20, 2006. Significant updates include:

Inclusion of page intended for viewing by group members (current.html)

o page has sub-links to off-site pages and discussion of "debunk" by group leader

edits/expansion of some sections in beliefs.html and overview.html

inclusion of broad and to-the-point page for families (fastfacts.html)

    minor change to sources.html

research essentially complete, may re-visit in the future

[This is NOT the next update this website made. The next update is to be found at the link http://www.geocities.com/nccg_concern/strange.html. It is as follows:]

    May 11, 2006
Group leader making strange, paranoid posts in group message boards

The group leader, Christopher C. Warren, has made strange posts in both the first-level message board/chatroom (NCCGCyberCommunity) and the third-level message board/chatroom (DeliveranceFromDemons) about the author of this website and the website itself. The content of the strange posts have been mirrored here.
[In the strange posts, C.C. Warren effectively accused nccg_concern of hacking into private material such as e-mail addresses, Instant Message exchanges, phone conversations etc. C.C. Warren also wrote a large post on how Satanists plan to destroy his reputation. However, look at what the author of this website himself has to say about this:]

The group leader is doing this in response to a specific incident. This author does not see in any of the posts where the group leader explains this incident. There were a few indirect references to it, but in each case, the actual reason for the incident was not specified. Instead, "hacking" is incorrectly indicated. Due to privacy concerns, this author will not specify the incident itself at this time.

[The emphasis of the first sentence with bold is mine. Here the author is quite mysterious a specific incident seems to have triggered C.C. Warren to believe beyond doubt that his internet activity has been hacked into and also that a big campaign is being prepared to defame him. What is this incident?

As I made clear earlier, before this update (beginning of May 2006), there was very little reference to source material. There was no outright personal attack to C.C. Warrens character, although this was implied very much. AFTER this specific incident things changed. This websites character changed. A new page was added to warn current members. The Debunk page was created, a page written in almost abusive style towards C.C. Warren. The Fast Facts page, where C.C. Warren is accused of grooming young women into marrying him by exploiting their emotional vulnerabilities was created as well.

There is extensive material that can prove that in the beginning of May, the IM activity of C.C. Warren was illegally monitored ("hacked") and directly reported to third parties outside the European Union territory (C.C. Warren lives in Sweden). Because of confidentiality issues the details of this event will not be reported here but are being retained for comparitive purposes in the event of falsified and unverifiable material being published should it be needed.

According to the Directive 95/46/EC on the protection of personal data; "Third countries is the term used in EU legislation to designate countries outside the European Union. Personal data may only be transferred to third countries if that country provides an adequate level of protection. Some exceptions to this rule are provided, for instance when the controller himself can guarantee that the recipient will comply with the data protection rules."

To any onlooker, this is obviously an event of foul play and illegal activity. However, the purpose of this research is to look into nccg_concern's activity and this is what the author has to say:]

This web site author has never "hacked" into or otherwise monitored instant-messaging services or emails to or from the person who is the focus of the incident referenced above (the group leader knows this fact already). This web site author has never had the ability to monitor the internet connection at the group's compound. This web site author has also not interfered with group members' ability to send or receive email, directed anyone to physically approach or follow compound-dwelling group members, arranged for people in parked cars to monitor the group leader's activities, monitored group members' telephone conversations, trespassed on group members' property, or received information from "Satanic covens" about group members.
[The author is in no position to verify that]. Furthermore, this web site author has not, at this time, sent unsolicited email to group members. Email from this web site author, solicited or otherwise, will usually use the email address nccg.concern@hotmail.com, but may occasionally use an anonymous emailing service with nccg.concern@hotmail.com included as a reply-to address in the text portion of the email. Also, this web site author has never "doctored" information obtained through research nor fabricated research information, is not associated with Rick Ross, is not a Satanist, and has never coordinated any activities with a "Satanic coven" for any purpose.

    [I dont doubt this testimony.]

    Additional note: May 13, 2006:

The research material used in the creation of the nccg_concern web site is either self-discovered by the site's author or was provided by fully identified and reputable sources. None of the third-party sources were noted to have performed activities related to the group which could be expected to result in criminal charges.

[Please note again that this website was much more friendly to begin with and made no references to secret and potentially explosive source material. (Actually, the author, in another post, claims that his source material is large enough to be able to defend him should he be called to testify in court). The author did not use any of that in all his research and for 4 whole months after it. Also note that on the first update in March, very little, but mysterious information was added, especially what is mentioned about Deliverance Sessions. Also, up to then, we had not seen the author of this website use downright abusive language, we had not seen him quote posts from a private group such as NCCG Cyber Community, and most important of all, we had not seen him defend himself claiming a large amount of mysterious source material. These are then the next updates:]

June 2, 2006. Partial Swedish language web site version complete.

July 5, 2006. (Mini-update due to suggestions from a concerned individual)

Olive Branch discussion rewritten to convert the writing style to my normal one (the original debunk.html had been deliberately written in a more engaging style). The new page is named debunk2.html. No factual content changes were made from the original debunk.html, the changes are stylistic only.

Page added which discusses a recent false prophecy made regarding me and my activities, and relatively recent statements about me made by the group leader which are false (false.html).

[Another final note to be made before I proceed to drawing conclusions. Before this set of updates, before the mysterious "incident" mentioned above, nccg_concern had not made attempts to defend himself, explain his actions, give testimony of never having hacked into personal material and the like. He had never used abusive language to attack the NCCG leadership and the mental stability of its members (look at debunk2). When, however, C.C. Warren directly accused him of having violated the privacy of his own family and other individuals, this nccg_concern proceeded in practically jumping around and shouting about how evil C.C. Warren is (grooming fringe members into his absolute influence and so on) and how innocent, scientific, thoughtful and just he himself is. This is not a practice that someone would use in a debate over religion or beliefs, but rather, in a battle of wits and personal glory or defamation.]

    [Discussion:

I am going to rely on the authors honesty concerning his claims which he makes repeatedly on this website that he has not hacked into anyones personal information. We know for a fact, however, by his own testimony, that he is open to receive material from other sources, and such, I believe, are also the sources of part of what he calls source material. It seems quite obvious that both the update made in March and the one made in May have their basis on that material. However, in the update made in May, and those that followed, it is more a matter of self-defence and pulling up as much mud as possible, rather than an honest investigation of the truth. This person seems to have started his research with this motive or at least a course of action that did not involve what he later accused C.C. Warren of, namely character assassination. Then some new information comes in (source unknown) in March. And finally, a big amount of information knocks on his door to be used in order to draw conclusions to the author's liking, or at any rate distort events based on supposed dirty laundry of the leader.

It all seems to boil down to nccg_concern being in a way used by people who wish to publish defamatory material about NCCG. The problem with this author is that he agreed to take up the task. It is hard to believe that one person only would go to such huge lengths to obtain all this mysterious information. Its much more probable, concerning the background events, that he was provided the information. Also, it makes more sense that all the seemingly aggressive and hostile behaviour he demonstrated after May was probably because he has found himself in the eye of the storm. C.C. Warren wasted no time in retorting the attacks he received and who can blame him? This hit him totally out of nowhere. More importantly, C.C. Warrens arguments made sense: nccg_concern has neither identified himself, nor has been honest about his agenda, obviously. To my eyes, nccg_concern looks a bit like a victim of those who have made the real work to dig up personal information but who would much rather use a front rather than expose it themselves. People who use dishonest means to discover will in all probability continue to use dishonest means in the rest of their activities. What concerns me even more is whether these people are to be trusted or not, and if they can actually become dangerous. You see, nccg_concern has done everything he could to protect himself from being traced by the NCCG leader, but has he considered that he should probably have seen to the same kind of security when it came to the people who provide him with source material?]

    Person-specific updates

    July 19, 2006. Minor update to false.html

    July 26, 2006

Added a false prophecy Bible study for the benefit of NCCG members.

Added section containing documentation of NCCG's leader character assassinating a number of people.

July 28, 2006: Added section to current.html more precisely describing leader's handling of women.

August 14, 2006: prophecyindex.html page and analytical prophecy articles added.

August 16, 2006: Discussion of second character assassination of Gustav Sjoholm by Warren added (complaintissues.html)

[The reason I call this last section "person-specific" updates is because the updates concerning the false prophecy theory have been inspired by a member of NCCG, Derek Rumpler, who has contributed to the theological part of this website. Here is some background:

Nccg_cocnern has made clear elsewhere in this website (item #6 in the index page) that he "will not respond to emails or other communication which [he] believe[s] originate from NCCG leadership or individuals performing reconnaissance for them." That means that any communication with the NCCG leadership and people who work for them is not welcome. D. Rumpler is one of the most closely related persons to the NCCG leadership, and a particularly active member of the group. This person received an e-mail on the 23rd of July by nccg_concern, inviting him to look at a webpage temporarily available in the nccg_concern website which was meant for him. D. Rumpler, who offered to contribute to this website shortly afterwards, voluntarily reported this to me and sent me a copy of this communication, which, however, will not be reproduced here (primarily because it's redundant). In nccg_concern's letter, we find what looks like a rough draft of what later turned into "4-page bible study proves that Warren is a false prophet".

    D. Rumpler explained to nccg_concern that his belief system is his own prerogative, and offered to write an article in response to that "4-page bible study", which features in this website. However, on the 15th of August, D. Rumpler received another e-mail from nccg_concern titled "Article inspired by you". In this e-mail, he was inviting D. Rumpler to look at the analytical prophecy articles mentioned in the update above. He also mentioned that he recognises that the "4-page bible study" was insufficient to point out to D. Rumpler convincingly enough that C.C. Warren is a false prophet. This made it clear that these articles were aiming at D. Rumpler himself, rather than the members in general.]

    [Discussion:

What is most interesting about these articles is the length and effort and carefully selected style in which nccg_concern addressed D. Rumpler. Nccg_concern has written, to and inspired by D. Rumpler, about 80 pages of material (when converted to MS Word). Roughly estimated, this is about 45% of the material nccg_concern has written overall (about 100 pages when converted to MS Work, not including images and the parts where other people's texts are copied-and-pasted). This is impressive to me. Nearly half of the written work of nccg_concern has been inspired and for the sake of this particular NCCG member. In a part of it, he went as far as to create a whole system of 52 categories of false prophecy classification all that was "inspired" by D. Rumpler.

The style is unusually friendly and scientific towards D. Rumpler. It reminds me of the scientific style that nccg_concern used to start with, back in December 2005. At no point does he insult or imply any kind of accusation, even subtle, towards this member of the group. Also, nccg_concern seems to keep up writing (the recent prophecy updates were about 45 pages long) remaining interested and "sharp" from beginning to end. It occurred to me that this was not the case in the, also recent, update called "complaintissues.html". This was referring directly to C.C. Warren, and nccg_concern seemed to lose interest in about the middle of it, if not earlier. The words "bored" and "indifferent" came to my mind.

What seems to be happening here is that once nccg_concern "discovered" D. Rumpler, his interest to "expose" NCCG, find all the dirty laundry, make C.C. Warren look like a pervert etc, significantly diminished. I would go as far as to say that the update on July 28 (actually, it appeared a couple of weeks later, but anyway), was also directed partly towards D. Rumpler. Why is nccg_concern aiming at one of the "core" members of this church? Why has he stopped being so up-to-scratch and passionate about throwing mud at the leader and instead began to "embrace" a deeply involved member?

It looks to me as if he has found a new "toy", a new hobby, let's say. It appears as if, after 7 months nearly, writing down vague accusations towards a church leader became kind of old (NCCG didn't really lose many people because of nccg_concern, actually), and now it's a much more interesting pastime to aim directly at members. It is a well-known fact among the NCCG members, friends and investigators, that this nccg_concern person has reached them with unsolicited e-mail, since about the middle of July, but that cannot even be compared to the sheer volume of material that nccg_concern has produced for the "benefit" of D. Rumpler.

Should it be expected that the pattern of "first friendly then abusive" will be repeating itself in this person's case also? Will it be that if he does not take nccg_concern's allegations into consideration, that nccg_concern will begin to attack him also in a couple of months, like he did with C.C. Warren when the latter only commented briefly and life went on as usual, back in winter 2006?
