What's Going On?
If you had been an American living in Pearl Harbour on Hawaii on 6 December 1941 and had lived there all your life, you might well have had difficulty telling someone back on the mainland 24 hours later that all hell had broken loose. As everybody knows, the Imperial Japanese Navy attacked Pearl Harbour on 7 December, yelling "Tora! Tora! Tora!" ("Tiger! Tiger! Tiger!" - the code word for the attack) and dragged a reluctant United States into the Second World War.
Between 1986 and 2005 NCCG (New Covenant Church of God) was a small Christian denomination peacefully going about its evangelising mandate around the world and building up a small fellowship of about 3,000 members. Even though we had one of the biggest websites on the internet, and had had about 3 million website hits by the end of 2005, nobody paid much attention to us. Most Christians viewed us as a Messianic group (since we became Torah-observant in 1999) with a few distinctive doctrines that separated us from them. A couple of ministries (like Balaam's Ass and Tekton Apologetics) made swipes at us for not accepting some of the Catholic Creeds but otherwise most other Christians - evangelicals and Messianics - saw us as fellow believers because we accepted all the fundamentals of the Apostles' Creed (and still do).
And then, quite suddenly, quite out of the blue, a small number of very noisy and vocal critics descended on us in 2005 and 2006, backed up by a Swedish newspaper willing to stick its neck out for a sensational scoop, started crying "Cult! Cult! Cult!" and doing all it its power to smear us. Then, so called "cult-deprogrammers" swooped on a couple of our investigators in 2006, tried to "deprogram" one (but failed), very much fuelled by the nccg_concern website that suddenly appeared in 2005 and began a systematic attack on our beliefs and character assassination of our leaders.
Why has this happened? Back in 2001 we tentatively (and at first reluctantly I might add) began working with the cult victims of Satanic Ritual Abuse (SRA). Though initially sceptical, the more people we met coming from an SRA background, and the better we go to know them, the more convinced we became that the claims they made of systematic and sadistic torture, rape and murder were true. As we got nearer the 'heart' of the satanic covens, so the death threats against myself, my family and other members of NCCG started, and it became quite obvious that someone was vigorously protecting something to go so such trouble. Since 2001 we have built up a large network of contacts within the covens internationally of people wanting to escape but unable to. Only in 2005-6, when it looked as though we would be able to actually get some of the victims out physically, did the tempo of threats escallate, reaching a crescendo in the spring of 2006. Unable to frighten us away from this ministry, the covens switched tactics and decided to launch a public smear compaign to discredit us thoroughly. The newspaper article was the main offensive (no doubt they "tipped off" the journalist or his newspaper Editor) which served as a catalyst to the nccg_concern anti-website started against us in 2005. Because there are many 'players' in the drama with even more lines of data flow, I have created a digram to try and explain the situation as succinctly and clearly as I can:
The solid black lines represent lines of direct contact with the persons or organisations involved. The broken lines represent indirect lines of contact since Satanists never expose themselves directly but work through intermediaries so that by the time a 'directive' has reached its object (like the newspaper), the newspaper will have no idea that Satanists are involved at all, thereby giving the appearance that the initiative to attack NCCG took place elsewhere and was spontaneous from 'ground level'. The solid red lines represent the lines of hostility and attack against us. The diagram is, of course, over-simplified: parents are not attacking NCCG directly but indirectly through their children (who are all adults, incidentally, and none of them are NCCG members but investigators or friends).
This is an information war, with Satanists and others supplying both truthful and false information (spicey of course) mixed together to confuse (information from unsubstantiable rumours, hacked and doctored emails and IM conversations (the illegal aspect of all this), possibly one or two apostates (who of course have an agenda), and so on).
As the documentation in this website shows, the people involved may have different personal agendas. The media, of course, is out for sensationalist stories. The author of the anti-NCCG website (nccg_concern), whom we believe to be a nominal 'Christian' with many atheist friends, who shows strong liberal tendencies, believes in evolution, and has his own agenda. The so called "cult deprogrammers", which are a mixed bag of atheists, anti-Christians, anti-religinists, as well some 'Christians', are in this for a multitude of reasons - antipathy towards new religious groups, money (this is a 'profession' that makes a lot of money), genuine concern against the true cults, Christians who don't like groups which expose the non-Biblical basis of their traditions, and so on. Then there are the parents - some frightened by all the spin and genuinely concerned their children might be getting into a dangerous cult, others who are abusive and controlling themselves and are trying to shore up public images and reputations, or abusive and don't want knowledge of their abuses to go public. And behind all this are the Satanists who are quite simply out to destroy NCCG, maintain the secrecy of their underground activities and keep their victims slaves of the cult. As masters of deception, they will know how to feed the 'right' information to the right people to keep the cauldron of suspicion and fear boiling. Through making this look like a spontaneous public 'outcry' against a "dangerous and destructive" sect (as we have been called in the newspaper), they are then in a position to turn the authorities against us. They have even tried to convince some of the players that I have a bogus degree from Oxford University and have faked my degree certificates.
However, it is just a matter of time to establish the truth. This has been costly both in terms of time and energy to us but we know that we shall be vindicated. However, it has meant that we must respond with facts, of which this is the first of several websites examining different aspects of the people and institutions involved. I am grateful that I did not have to do it as a concerned Christian (not a member of NCCG), outraged by the treatment we have received, decided to take the initiative and do something. I have been consulted by the author of this website on some historical details and contributed a couple of articles, this one included. Otherwise I have had little or no input.
The author of this website has not enjoyed making it and would have preferred to have used their time in more productive pursuits. However, we believe that much good will ultimately come out of this, especially for the true cult victims - the victims who have survived torture and rape at the hands of these evil covens to whom justice shall come. We will not be intimidated by either them or by others, we will defend the truth unapologetically and expose all lies, as is mandated to us in Scripture.
