    Special Note on Copyright

This website was created on the initiative of an independent, non-affiliated investigator of NCCG who goes by the pseudonym 'Axroot'. Contributory articles were solicited by Axroot from three persons: Christopher Warren, Derek Rumpler and 'Heart-Maker' who supported the website's creation and unconditionally donated the articles to be used by this website (NCCG_Concerned). Both Christopher Warren and Derek Rumpler were members of NCCG at the time. The copyright rules of NCCG (also adopted by its successor organisation, MLT) have always been, and continue to be, as follows:

"Materials written by former members of MLT and copyrighted by MLT whilst they were members of MLT or its precursor organisation(s) (NCCG, NCCF, ICJC, etc.) remain the copyright of MLT though the original authors are by default granted the right to reproduce these materials for their own use" (MLT Copyright Rules, 28 December 2006).

This is similar to the copyright rules of NCCG since 2001:

"Materials written by ex-members of the Church during their tennancy as members remain the copyright of the Church unless the copyright is released by the Church, and may not be modified or republished by the original authors without the permission of the Church" (NCCG Copyright Rules, 22 January 2001)

The NCCG_Concerned website was created for, and has been maintained by, NCCG/MLT with Axroot's complete agreement and is therefore the property of NCCG/MLT along, with all its contents. The individual authors may, of course, freely reproduce their own materials, and use them as they see fit, without seeking permission from NCCG/MLT according to the copyright rules of NCCG/MLT. These persons have published numerous articles during their membership of NCCG/MLT which came under NCCG/MLT copyright.

Occasionally ex-members dispute copyright legalities and need to be reminded that during their tenure as members that they understood and accepted that the written materials they donated became the intellectual property of NCCG/MLT. This notice is in part to remind such contributors of these facts. The materials donated by Christopher Warren and Derek Rumpler in particular were prepared while both were members of NCCG/MLT and is therefore the property of NCCG/MLT. A sample of materials written by both authors in hardcopy format is shown below to illustrate the NCCG/MLT practice:

All the articles supplied by the various authors were sent, usually by email, without personal copyright notices because it was clearly understood that these materials were being donated to NCCG/MLT for the NCCG_Concerned website and its mirrors. These originals are in possession of NCCG/MLT of which the following is a sample (showing the beginning and ending of such an article):

As you will see, no copyright notice appeared on this article which was prepared in HTML format by the author ready for direct insertion into Axroot's NCCG/MLT-maintained website.

Membership in NCCG/MLT is by water-baptism. Derek Rumpler (for example) was baptised (for the second time) on 9 June 2006 (see picture to right) making him an official member and subject to the Constitution, and all the rules, of NCCG/MLT, including rules governing copyright materials supplied by members for publication either online or in hardcopy format. All of the articles written for this (nccg_concerned) website were prepared in August 2006 while he was a full member.

Articles donated to NCCG/MLT may therefore be used and copyrighted by NCCG/MLT. NCCG/MLT nevertheless grants the authors to make free use of these materials additionally for their own purposes. Irrespective of whether these materials were published by diverse parties with copyrights attributed to a pseudonymn (e.g. Heart-Maker, nccg_concerned) or to an NCCG/MLT member (e.g. Derek Rumpler), the copyright nevertheless devolves upon NCCG/MLT.
