Critique of

    NCCG's beliefs and behaviors

Concern's responses in plain black text, Derek's responses in purple italics.

"The christian-resembling beliefs presented in the easily-accessible sections of NCCG's main website, www.nccg.org, do not accurately describe NCCG's innermost beliefs."

Be prepared for shocking statements by Mr. "Concern". He is now going to attempt to twist and misconstrue our beliefs in any light possible so that we look like a cult.

The actual beliefs and organizational structure are not revealed to potential, unindoctrinated recruits (called "investigators"). To be directed to links on the website containing special information, or to be told special information directly, a person has to reach what is considered an appropriate level of indoctrination within NCCG.

      *cough* Excuse me?
Actually, the only reason as to why our "beliefs" are not up on the website is because we've been TOO busy to maintain our many other responsibilities. However, we have updated them to the groups. Eventually, they will be up on our website which is at http://www.nccg.org.

Mr. Concern makes the groups sound like a recruiting tool. And while there is SOME truth to this, so far as we use the groups to get our name out and to get to know candidates, there are also many (the majority) who come just for the fellowship with no obligation of joining NCCG (we do not believe you have to be a member to be saved or even to enjoy the choicest blessings in Heaven) and also many who "lurk" without ever participating. There is no compulsion.

Advancing enough to be allowed into the "DeliveranceFromDemons" chat begins to get the recruit some of the secret information. All of the information will not be known to anyone except the most deeply-involved core members.

Advancing? Please! All it is is a short little form (on NCCG Cyber) asking your reason for joining. Of course, we also have other groups (especially the DeliverancefromDemons group) which require more information but this is voluntary. If people do not want to share this information, they are free to chat in one of our "reception" groups where they will still receive help. The reason we have the groups divided into this manner is to keep certain people who could harm our clients/investigators/friends/acquaintances/etc. out (such as Satanists seeking to find out what Satanic Ritual Abuse victims are saying in order to dissuade them from seeking help).

Likewise, as a baptised member of NCCG and a visitor of "The Compound", as Mr. Concern calls it (which is simply just an old school house converted to a home -- the membership numbers there are not exactly exploding either), I can verify that most of our deeply held beliefs are revealed in the Sermons and articles on these groups. If they are not, it is because we haven't had the time to post them (not that we have to post all of our beliefs anyway -- the Mormons get along just fine hiding their Temple Rituals from all initiates -- however, we're the "cult" here, so its different). People are free to check out anytime they feel we have "strayed from the path" and will not receive threats as to a lost of salvation (only Yahweh can determine that and salvation is by grace through faith as Ephesians 2:8-10 makes crystal-clear -- not church denomination). As such, we identify ourselves as a prophetic group in the wider Body of Messiah with a unique and special calling, but no more unique or special than the woman who feels like Yahweh's leading her to care for the homeless in Ethiopia or the man who only feels led to make and publish Gospel tracts.

Thus, uniqueness does not mean we are elite.

All of the writings use group-specific jargon, sometimes borrowing words from languages other than English and assigning new meanings.

      Like Hebrew?

This is a basic philosophical tenet. My dictionary defines it as "lingo". Its a group's specific usage of a language. Thus, a word can mean different things in different groups. Groups do this all the time. All one has to do is pick up a newspaper to find examples of words being assigned new meanings. Ideally, the person should make their meaning clear somewhere in the text. For example, if I say I like cats and by cats, I mean a specific type or class of cat, I need to give a definition as to what I mean by cats. This is "ostensive definition". Likewise, all language is subjective. When I use the word Torah, for example, I may mean something different from the Messianic Jew, the Orthodox Jew or even the fundemental Christian who all view Torah differently. Thus the issue is to clarify MY usage of the word, which I have done in several of my own articles. We plan on releasing a document detailing our usage of this very word. It probably wouldn't hurt us to make our own dictionary of theological terms either. Just because we use a word differently than most (truth is, everyone does this) doesn't mean we are seeking to be dishonest. It is then our obligation to clarify ourselves further where misunderstood. In this, we have duly noted Mr. Concern and will make changes where neccessary. However, our "error" on this particular point is human and understandable. In normal conversation, how many people say things such as, "I'm buying a new house. And by house, I mean a condo with a swingset and a swimming pool", thus excluding all other houses lacking these features? If you can't expect it of yourself, why expect it of us?

Or maybe the issue is you don't wish to understand us?

A language change of particular interest is the use of the term Soul-Tie.

We didn't invent it. Evangelical Christians who practice deliverance ministry invented it first. Feel free to Google the phrase for yourself.

Thus, by using this, a larger portion of Christendom other than our "exclusive" group understands what we mean by it.

Soul-Tie is NCCG's name for a personal relationship,

      Nope. Read my response above.

and is frequently used in recruitment in the context of an elder of NCCG coaching the recruit in breaking off relationships with biological family members or personal friends who are not involved with NCCG.

Those who are familiar with our writings will know that we view an "ungodly soul tie" as an ungodly agreement with the world, a person or a demon (given you believe in demons) that causes us to compromise our walk and faith with Yahweh. For example, an "ungodly soul tie" might be to work on the Sabbath when Scripture condemns that because my boss asks me to. We believe that there are demons behind such agreements and thus they need to be "broken" by being renounced and not repeated. This does not mean, however, we cut the person off; instead, we alter situations in such a way that we'll never repeat that "soul tie" again.

For example, if I am fornicating with a woman I am not married to, that's an ungodly soul tie. I need to renounce it in prayer and alter circumstances so as not to repeat it. This may mean not being alone with the girl in a room. It does not mean I need to cease communicating with her. It just means I need to make arrangements as such that I don't repeat that sin behaviour again.

When Messiah told us to "cut off" appendages (figuratively) in order to avoid sin (Mark 9:42-48), He certainly had this principle in mind. It means to not enter situations where sin is given place and to renounce and forsake the times when we fail.

Likewise, soul ties can be godly and result when we have relationships and agreements that help us grow in our walk with Messiah by keeping Yahweh's commandments. This can occur with unbelievers as well as believers.

The recruit is directed to "take authority over and break the ungodly (or satanic) soul-tie" between the recruit and the non-group member. In some situations, group elders have been the ones to "take authority over" a recruit's soul-tie with a non-group member.

"Satanic soul ties" can be established between members also. An ungodly soul tie is any agreement which causes one to compromise their walk with Messiah. Read my response above. We believe demons are behind such agreements and thus the one entering them give the demons power. Of course, this is provided you believe in the demonic.

NCCG's website contains a very large amount of reading material, much of which could be considered as defining part of NCCG's beliefs. Large portions of it are relative to specific interpretations of Judaism, the Bible, and Warren's visions and revelations.

This phraseology is misleading, as IF we intend on combining Judaism with our beliefs and as if Warren's visions and revelations themselves are not above scrutiny. For example, in order for a revelation to be canonized, it has to undergo a canonization process (Olive Branch 79). This includes the vote of the individual members of our church during General Conference (vv. 16-17). Non-canonized revelations are announced as the revelator feels led to, but as with anything, it is up to the ones who hear it to choose whether or not they choose to be bound to it. I've never felt like I was threatened with a loss of membership for questioning the revelations. In fact, I have questioned at least a few, and I have also questioned doctrines and practices of NCCG (and where I have been right, changes in policy have been made -- I imagine its likewise true of the general membership if it is true for me also). The Olive Branch is secondary to our beliefs and with that, so is Mr. Warren's visions and revelations which, while we consider many of them (if not most or all) to be inspired of Yahweh, may or may not always be infallible. This is taken on a case-by-case basis (although I've known Mr. Warren to have a good track record -- I am arguing this for the sake of clarity, however). We are not like the Catholics or the Mormons in insisting our leader(s) can never lead us astray. We indeed follow Paul who said, "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good" (1 Thessalonians 5:21 KJV).

The Bible alone is our primary canon as is made clear from section "L. The Secondary Canon" on page xliv in the 1997 edition of the Olive Branch. Likewise, section "K. Conditions for Church Membership" under "Catechumenical and Probationary Membership" on pages xl to xlii do not include embracing the Olive Branch or Warren's revelations as neccessary in order to become a member. It may be argued from subsection 2.j. under "Full Membership in the New Covenant Church of God" on page xliii that the phrase "[h]e must accept all the laws of Zion" could include these revelations, but again, all revelation is subjected to the many tests included both in our own writings and the Bible. Dissent for purely biblical reasons is commended, so long as it is done constructively. If people are dissenting because they "just don't agree" without a biblical motive, then we must argue as to why they choose to belong to our organization in the first place.

Likewise, where we concede with Judaism (or even Mormonism, Catholicism, Baptists, etc.), that is because we believe that they are right on that particular thing, given our understanding of the biblical evidence. Where we concede or are similar to a belief system or philosophy does not mean we do not embrace all tenets of said philosophy or belief system. For example, while we share in common a belief of keeping the biblical feast days (Leviticus 23) with mainstream Judaism, we may not neccessarily embrace their interpretations of these days, nor do we concede with the Talmud, Zohar or most of their beliefs and customs. Similarities with a religion do not include "tolerance" of a religion (where "tolerance" means "accepting their belief system as equally viable as our's" and does not mean [according to the popular sense] "allowing someone to believe and practice as they wish" -- with which we agree, so long as there is no personal physical harm to self or others and people are not held against their will).

In short, we are as Jewish as Buddhism is Taoism (they may share concepts and beliefs in common, although they are not the same), although we may have many similarities (and likewise many differences) with it.

A smaller portion of it discusses NCCG's leader's professions about the Illuminati, paranoid conspiracy theories, and new-age resembling information. Much of this information cannot be included directly in this report due to its extreme volume; attempting to do so would make this site resemble an nccg.org mirror site instead of a report.

Likewise, I will skip out on this section because to convince the reader of the existence of Illuminati will eat up more time then I am willing to give. However, if one wants to know the existence of said organization, plus its Satanic agenda, they are free to check out http://www.infowars.com. It is my belief that this website has been perhaps the most unbiased one I have found regarding the exposure of the New World Order. Personally, I recommend one watch the video "Dark Secrets of the Bohemian Grove" which can be ordered from the site. This video is a documented and video-taped exposé of what happens at the Bohemian Grove where world leaders gather yearly. The film makers' have caught on film the "mock" human sacrifice that occurs there yearly. This should be enough to cause even the liberal atheist's blood to boil.

The included information below explains some of the beliefs and behaviors which are of particular interest for various reasons, or are part of the "secret" information that is not revealed to new group members. Some links to the nccg website have been included, but note that the content of the links could be changed by Warren at any time. Most of the information shown below was observed prior to NCCG's awareness that this investigation was occurring.

If anyone wants to know our beliefs, you can be sure I'll very likely be the first to tell them. We have nothing to hide.

Children born to parents who are not "legitimately married" are cursed and contain demons. The curse lasts for 10 generations, and such decendents cannot join the "Assembly of Yahweh" while the curse is in effect.

The only way such a curse can be removed from an individual is for that person to be spiritually adopted by a spiritual father through "Theophostic" deliverance, like NCCG practices and offers.

The only way for the "curse" to be removed from the individual is to be spiritually adopted, I agree. But the "Theophostic" part is hogwash because Theophostic is about memory recovery and renewal, not spiritual adoption. Spiritual adoption includes making covenants of obedience between a father and son/daughter (both biological and spiritual) as is appropriate according to our understanding of Torah. The fact that illegitimacy is a curse is made clear from the Bible itself (provided you believe in said book) in Deuteronomy 23:2. Those who were illegitimate were forced to live outside the congregation of Israel. We believe we have received a revelation for the "spiritual cure" of the "curse" of illegitimacy.

Now just because illegitimacy is a "curse" doesn't mean the person is neccessarily evil. There are a few notable examples of illegitimate people in the Bible who were noble.

For example, you have Gilead in Judges 11:1-2. Likewise, Timothy, the disciple of Paul, if one holds to this definition of a "mamzer" (a Hebrew term for an "illegitimate child"). Timothy was born of a Judean mother and a Greek father who was uncircumcised (Acts 16:1-3). Thus his father was a non-citizen according to Torah (Exodus 12:48) and would've made Timothy the product of an unlawful relationship (Exodus 34:15-16; 2 Corinthians 6:14). And yet no one contest that these men weren't noble (unless, of course, they disbelieve the Scriptures).

Warren discounts mainstream scientific rock and soil sample dating as contradictory and therefore inaccurate, claiming that when valid scientific data is considered, the earth is no younger than 7,000 years old and probably no older than 12,000.

So medicate us for questioning evolutionary theory! There are plenty of critics of evolutionary theory and this is not the time nor place for me to address it (although I do intend on answering it on other parts of the website). The entire "Intelligent Design" movement (for those who are open-minded to view it) tends to present a valid scientific argument for our universe being made by an intelligence. One book I am currently reading called "The Case for a Creator" written by Lee Strobel (a retired legal affairs editor of the Chicago Tribune) argues for Intelligent Design using the testimony of experts in the field. Strobel used his investigate skills to come to a faith in the Saviour. Likewise, Kent Hovind, a Creationist, has many free videos addressing Evolutionism versus Creationism on his website http://www.drdino.com. I will address this shortly in a seperate article, but there are many valid arguments questioning the validity of the evolutionary theory.

Belief in beings called "NEFILIM", described as hybrid descendants of fallen angels (called "watchers") from pre-Noah's time and human women.

A small number of Nefilim escaped the earth using their sophisticated technology and are living on Mars, and are currently visiting the earth as UFOs. Except for the few escapee Nefilim, most of the Nefilim and all of the "watchers" are imprisoned in underground dungeons. Nefilim are also described as "wandering our streets and look like you or I".

There are hundreds of Nefilim on the earth today, and at least some of them participate in the torture and killing of people within "satanic covens".

At least one NCCG member is stated to have personally encountered one that was "defeated" when he attempted to "destroy" a "client" of NCCG.

The "Grey Alien" reported in UFO abductee cases is "a hybrid Watcher-Human sub-species evolved over several thousand years since the Angel Revolt of Genesis 6."

There are no space aliens or outer-space based UFOs, just demons who would prefer for people to believe they are aliens. It is likely that Satan is using the concept of aliens and UFOs as part of his end-time deception.

I am not going to get in an argument as to what the Nefilim are, except many interpret Genesis 6:1-4 where "the sons of God" sleep with the "daughters of men" and thus create "giants" (KJV)/"Nefilim" (Hebrew) as referring to fallen angels procreating with human women. This is a valid argument. For example, why is there a distinction between "sons of God" and "daughters of men" and not "people of God" and "people of men"?? And why on earth would their sexual relations create an entirely different people group? Search a concordance for the Hebrew word "nefilim". The Bible reveals that these people indeed were giants and were the people Yahweh COMMANDED to be destroyed (thus explaining the hard-to-understand passages in the Bible referring to a destruction of an entire people group). We do not believe, like many teach, that these are specific peoples (such as Jews, blacks and Native Americans like "Serpent Seed Doctrine" people teach), but place their judgment in Yahweh's hands. We treat all people alike nor do we worry or wonder if we are talking to Nephilim or not. Only Yahweh knows and only He can judge.

Likewise, no one will ever understand our claim of Nephilim falling by Yahweh's power unless they relate to us as people and believe in this phenomena (or are at least open to it).

The demon that controls schizophrenia is called "Schizophrenia" or "Double-Mindedness". Schizophrenia is always initially caused by rejection (real or imagined), and the "control demon" for schizophrenia can be passed from parent to child and is not genetically inherited. Demons can set up false personalities within the person.

Some of the material being presented by NCCG's leader on its web sites regarding this appears to be drawn from the book "Pigs in the Parlor, a practical guide to Deliverance, by Frank and Ida Mae".

Doesn't the Bible teach that inner voices are demons? It depends on whether or not you hold to a literalistic interpretation of the Bible.

We have had some people with schizophrenic tendencies and when they've submitted to Messiah and have faith in His Word, they've been freed from many of these tendencies. I am not going to present the problem as being simplistic, because its not. I only know the fruit I see and have seen Yahweh heal years of mental illness in seconds because the problem ISN'T biological but DEMONIC. I guess it all depends whether or not you are open to looking at things beyond the five senses.

A system by which members are married within NCCG is detailed in pages 172 - 175 of "The Olive Branch". This system requires each person who is to be married to receive a "revelation from God", and they must not tell each other about the revelation. Instead, they must consult with NCCG elders. If the two people talk about the topic among themselves, without first consulting NCCG elders, NCCG will refuse to marry them.

Research has shown that the Olive Branch sections that discuss marriage are not actually a detailed description of the ways marriages can occur within NCCG. Many of the prerequisite steps required for full marriage can be done over the internet, with neither person having physically met the other.

I don't argue with the gist of the first paragraph of this argument, although I think it oversimplifies. The Olive Branch (Section 78) specifically states, on page 172, verses 47-48 that "[n]o-one [sic] may have a revelation for another commanding them in the Name of the Lord to marry . . . each individual shall obtain a revelation of prophecy for himself, and himself only, but not impose that revelation or prophecy on his or her intended spouse." On page 173, it states, in verses 64-65, "If a man gets a word of prophecy that he is to marry a certain woman, and if he makes this known to her before she obtains this witness herself, then the Church will under no circumstances endorse or perform such a marriage even if both parties agree to it. This is a safe-guard against false or impure revelation which in the immature and carnally-disposed is merely a mask for personal desires, for the gift of revelation is not perfect quickly."

This is done to prevent priestcraft. No one should be forced to marry someone against their will. Ironically, the "cult deprogrammer" is criticizing us for setting up safe-guards to keep people out of unsafe relationships where people are married out of emotional and mental compulsion instead of out of choice. How laughable and hypocritical.

Likewise, the Olive Branch itself makes it clear that Yahweh does not need to follow the pattern outlined in that section. This is made clear on page 175, verses 86-87. Internet marriages fall under that category.

"The Olive Branch" is a Bible knock-off, for lack of a better term, that was written primarily by Warren. When writing or talking about "The Olive Branch" to people who have not reached a sufficient level within NCCG, Warren attempts to minimize the significance of "The Olive Branch" as compared with the Bible, but the core members' day to day practices do not reflect this perspective. The book is a source of extra rules and guidelines for NCCG. Many of the extra assertions do not appear to this author to have a factually identifiable biblical basis. It has been printed in a way that physically resembles the Bible, its material is organized and categorized in a way that is similar to the Bible, and it has language and declarations that mimic the Bible in form and style. At the time of this writing, Warren has made parts of it are visible online at http://www.nccg.org/olive.html .

Bible knock-off? The Olive Branch itself states, on page xliv, under section "L. The Secondary Canon", states:

"The Holy Bible is the primary canon of the New Covenant Church of God (NC&C 297) to which no other work may be added, and from which no existing books may be removed, until the dawning of the Millennial Day and the theocratic government of Jesus Christ is established on the earth.

"The secondary canon of the New Covenant Church of God, which is subordinate to the primary in all matters of doctrine and Christian practice, is as following:

      "1. The Wisdom of Solomon, Ecclesiasticus, Tobit and 1 & 2 Esdras from the Apocrypha (accepted by the Catholic and Eastern Orthodox Churches);

      "2. The Testaments of the Twelve Patriarchs and Joseph & Asenath from the Psuedopigrapha;

"3. The Epistles of the Sub-Apostolic Fathers (all accepted by the Eastern Orthodox Church, incidentally), consisting of:

      3.a. Clement to the Corinthians (1 Clement);
      3.b. Ignatius to the Ephesians (1 Ignatius), to the Magnesians (2 Ignatius), to the Trallians (3 Ignatians), to the Romans (4 Ignatius), to the Philadelphians (5 Ignatius), the Smyrneans (6 Ignatius), and to Polycarp (7 Ignatius);
      3.c. Polycarp to the Phillipians (Polycarp);
      3.d. Marcion, called the Martyrdom of Polycarp (Martyrdom);
3.e. An anonymous writer to Diognetus (Diognetus)

"4. The Scriptures of the New Covenant, consisting of:

      4.a. The Olive Branch, a modern-day selection of revelations, visions and prophecies received by the apostles and prophets of the Church;
4.b. The modern-day Epistles of the Twelve Apostles of the New Covenant Church of God."

The keyword here is 'subordinate' which I have bolded above. It means our secondary canon must pass through the sieve of the Word. If anything violates the Bible, we discard it, be it in the Epistles of the Sub-Apostolic Fathers, The Olive Branch or anything we hold as our secondary canon. As someone who has visited Mr. Warren's home, he has discussed possibly throwing out the secondary canon altogether and using The Olive Branch just for the Priesthood alone. Personally, there are books I have questioned on the secondary canon list and I have never been threatened with being excommunicated. NCCG members are bound to the Bible alone. Only it is our sufficient source for doctrine and practice.

Warren has been seen to replace older sections of "The Olive Branch" over time. A change of this type is evidenced in an internet post dated February 20, 2006, and consisted of the replacement of "Section 82, PWNC 060220A" and "Section 301, PWNC 060220B". Warren presented these replacement sections on the internet, in the "nccgcybercommunity" MSN group, in the "Olive Branch" subsection of the page. The announcement was titled "New Olive Branch Sections 82 & 301".

Warren also functionally adds new material to "The Olive Branch", although these new sections cannot be physically added to the print version of the book. One such addition appears to be "PWNC 050104", which was presented by Warren in the "nccgcybercommunity" MSN group, in the "Olive Branch" subsection of the page. The last section of the print version of "The Olive Branch" is "Section 470, PWNC 970714B (706)". Any sections found on the internet with PWNC numbers showing a date later than this can safely be assumed to have been written after the print version had been published.

As I said above, our revelations are subject to the Bible. If our revelations are found to be error, we will change them, but this has never been without notice, since we have nothing to hide. We don't present ourselves off as a perfect church.

The print version of the book has several pages that have sections replaced, using stickers to cover portions of the original text with new text. The stickers tend to replace an entire section or paragraph as opposed with a few words or a sentence. Pages I noted which contained this kind of modification are the table of contents, acknowledgments, the roman-numerated preface section pages l, li, lxiv, and lxv, and pages 220 and 221. The stickers are not easy to find unless you are looking for them, so there could be other modified pages elsewhere in the book.

As someone who has glued these insertations in over a hundred Olive Branches, I can attest that they're just out-dated beliefs, modes and practices. We don't consider the footnotes to be revelations. Rather, they are our interpretations as to what we THINK the revelations mean given our current theological understanding. Must a church remain stagnant or are they allowed to make mistakes, repent and grow?

At Warren's direction, this group is engaging in a "gathering" to NCCG's compound near Arvika, Sweden. The written details about the existing compound and future planned generations of compounds appear to be somewhat recent in NCCG's history, and could change in the future. In a nutshell: the present-day compound near Arvika is supposed to be a pre-apocalyptic compound which will provide, among other things, training in communal living. Later compounds will allow all of the future group members (whom are expected to number in the thousands) to reside in specific, divinely-hidden locations together, living their lives in obedience to God, as independent from the rest of the world as possible while the destructive, "end-time" prophecies come true. Warren claims that the people living within the later generation compounds will be protected from the catastrophes that will occur during the end-time.

Given that many of Warren's other prophecies are true, this prophecy can be held only on its merits. I am sure Noah sounded like a crazy, ranting mad man when the floods came-a tumbling down. But this is written by a man who thinks we are cultic since we simply disbelieve in evolutionary theory. I re-recommend people to the free videos on Hovind's site. He makes a good case for a biblical flood on them. Likewise, I do not deny the allegations that the "compound" (which is anything BUT a compound -- the mere term sounds like a prison) is training in communal living (i.e. sharing all things in common). There are many such "compounds" world-wide which live communally, as evidenced from this Wikipedia article. Likewise, Jesus People USA, a communal Christian website, says on its front page:

"Jesus People USA is a Christian community in Chicago. We operate both as an intentional Christian community and as a worshipping church (not all members of our congregation live as full-time members of the community). We began as an independent ministry in 1972, and in 1989 we joined the Chicago-based Evangelical Covenant Church. We number about 500 people who live together at a single address on Chicago's North Side. We hold our goods and property in a common fund, looking to the model of Christian community depicted in New Testament (Acts 2:44-47, 4:32-35). Living communally and pooling our resources in this way has enabled us to minister to one another and those outside the community in ways that might not have been otherwise possible. This, of course, does not mean we believe God wants everybody to live in this way, or blesses us in some special way because we do. We have been privileged to function as a resource to the church, a haven for people in need, a learning experience for many whose journey has taken them in our doors and out to serve elsewhere."

So the question is, how come its acceptable for a mainline, denominational group to live communally, according to the original biblical practice, but when a small, end-time, apocalyptic group does it (rather, a small group -- there are also mainline end-time, apocalyptic groups which are deemed "acceptable"), we are considered "cultic"?

The information about this "gathering" is not easily found for a casual browser of the main website. The bulk of the information is presented in the private, group-only chatrooms and on a few, non-obvious pages on the www.nccg.org website, such as http://www.nccg.org/gathering/index.html .

If I recall correctly, "The Gathering" was mentioned on the front page of the old NCCG.org website and is displayed prominently to the left of the new Mishpachah Lev-Tsiyon webpage (which is still at http://www.nccg.org). So for something so "dangerous" and so "cultic", how come we deem it important enough to place in a place where our visitors can see it?

This is the NCCG main website as it could be seen on April 1st 2005 (http://web.archive.org/web/20050401094150/http://www.nccg.org/)
and it has always been there since "The Final Gathering" was written"

Warren claims that NCCG will eventually be comprised of 12 "colonies" which will have group members living in them communally or semi-communally, and that this later stage of colonization will not be reached within his lifetime. However, the specific "gathering" he is emphasizing at this time is one to Arvika, Sweden.

While a handful of people ARE being encouraged to gather to Arvika, Sweden, if they feel called to, this is not true for the bulk of NCCG membership. Members are encouraged to build the church in their respective areas also. The specific "gathering" is not as huge as Concern is making it out to be. Rather, it is just a few select people who have desired interest to move there.

The compound is called "Kadesh-biyqah", also referred to as "the first Proto-Firstborn Colony" by the group. It is described by Warren this way:

"Kadesh-biyqah, located in the diaspora of the tribe of Ephraim (10 Tribes of Israel) in Northern Europe, and specifically in Sweden, is the beginning of the work of gathering the Ten Tribes of Israel and the establishment of miniature Patriarchal Christian communities whose purpose is to act as place of refuge from the surrounding culture and a spiritual community whose aim is to prepare disciples of the Lord Yah'shua the Messiah (Jesus Christ) both for the coming tribulation and for the Millennial Order."

Physically, the NCCG compound is an old school ground that was last in service as a school in the 1960's. Christopher Warren lives at the compound with his wives, children, and a few other people.

He forgot to mention the barbwire, the live dogs, the machine guns . . . oops, wait, the illusion of a "compound" is shattered by this statement alone. He's right, its just an old school ground converted into a home. There's not enough room to fit too many people either here or on the property in general.

At the time of this writing, they are refusing to send their children to school despite Arvika government orders to do so. They have been engaging their children in homeschooling using the "School of Tomorrow" (formerly known as Accellerated Christian Education) program, but their application to the Arvika government to continue doing this has been denied in the past.

So someone is now cultic because they deny a government order to send their children to public schooling? Has it ever crossed Concern's mind that there are people who homeschool because they think the public schooling system is detrimental to their children's educational status? I would deny the government also, simply on the basis I want to make sure my children get the best education! I've been a homeschooling advocate since my pre-NCCG days and it began when I was a Mormon three years ago. I could argue for the cultism of said system, but most people would deny it simply because public schooling is "socially acceptable". I once read Microsoft loves to hire homeschooled children because they know public school children are educated so that they can't think for themselves. I would heartily agree.

Altered state of consciousness: "The Garden"

"The Garden" is an altered state of consciousness which is likened to being in a spiritual, fourth dimension. It appears to resemble a highly suggestive or possibly hypnotic state where vivid visualization and suggestion is used. A group member is told that he or she has to be in a very spiritual frame of mind in order to enter this special state of consciousness, and the ability to enter this state of consciousness referred to as being "able to get into the Garden". Recent, public writings by Warren that mention "The Garden" but do not explain what it is are referring to this. Prophetic revelations and visions can happen while experiencing this altered state of consciousness.

Several people can be in the same "Garden", using communication over the internet as the base for a cooperative kind of suggestive state. "The Garden" is used for a number of purposes within NCCG that appear related to brainwashing. Deities such as "Yahweh" and "The 7 Ruachs of the Elohim" can also be encountered in "The Garden".

Trying to explain the Garden is like trying to explain the burning sensation that occurs when someone sticks their finger in an electric socket. You won't know it until you do it. I really can't convince the skeptic otherwise. However, I will deny the "vivid visualization" and "suggestion" argument.

I have documented (and will release to the public, if granted permission) several encounters in the Garden where people have seen things that others have seen without knowing of it. Likewise, I even have documented one case where I accidently suggested something to someone about the Garden and they denied it and instead insisted on something different being there (and yet were accurate on others things). If one reads Warren's most recent strand of sermons on "Mishpachah Lev-Tsiyon", they will find we speak extensively about the Garden, denying the allegation that we are not "explain[ing] what is [being] referr[ed] to . . .".

"Deliverance sessions" are initiated in the Deliverance from Demons MSN chatroom where the more deeply involved group members coach other members, and explain their various illnesses and behaviors as being related to demonic possession or possibly, SRA (this is not the only function of the DeliveranceFromDemons chatroom, though). In various writings, Warren identifies schizophrenia, homosexuality, influenza, and SARS, among many other things, as being caused by demons.

When did Warren state that SARS was caused by demons? Maybe I overlooked this. But even so, I think it is obvious that Mr. Concern denies the reality of the demonic. So anyone that tries to document it will, naturally, be met with ridicule or scorn. This is their perogative. Think of all the "crazies" in history that believed in such "inane" things like the earth being round, the sun being the center of the Universe, the existence of germs and other things that got them laughed at, persecuted and even arrested and murdered. I wouldn't be surprised if, over time, science eventually does prove the existence of the demonic. The most serious documentations I know of demonization are in M. Scott Peck's "People of the Lie" and "Glimpses of the Devil : A Psychiatrist's Personal Accounts of Possession, Exorcism, and Redemption". I have the former book in my library and intend on purchasing the latter. Peck is a well-known psychiatrist and is extensively revered by Christians, atheists and people of other theistic and non-theistic faiths alike. People can ridicule us all we like, but as someone who has experienced the demonic, largely in those I've ministered to, I can deny their existence no longer.

"Deliverance ministry" is a system by which a "deliverance minister" interacts with the recruit, and they believe (essentially) that they are causing demons to exit the person's psyche. The "Deliverance" itself is expected to occur at the end of the session, and the "Deliverance minister" looks like the hero to the recruit (coupled with the spirit of "Yahweh").

This statement is an oversimplification of deliverance ministry. I myself am an outspoken critic that too many people blame their problems on the demonic. While it is true that there are circumstances where the demon can (so it seems) dwell INSIDE the person, as demonstrated in personality changes, voice changes, facial expressions and whatnot which do not seem "normal" for the person (likewise, there are instances of the person saying and knowing things they otherwise should not know and in some cases, visible cuts and sores seemingly appear on the body out of nowhere, "voices" manifesting outside of the body heard by both the client and minister, along with the demons occassionally becoming physically visible and coupled with the person being an entirely different person altogether as noted by the changes listed before), the person in the end has the freedom of responsibility. So far as we've been able to learn, these demons dwell inside people because they ignore the commands and counsel found inside of the Bible. If this is not a scientific proof, I do not know what is -- it is certainly falsifiable, for those willing to look into our claims. The problem is, people do not want to believe in the demonic because it makes them accountable. But I think the realm of science should be able to delve into these topics and follow the evidence wherever it leads.

Two internet chat and/or phone-based incidents with NCCG "deliverance ministers" were documented which appeared to coincide with a psychotic episode in the recruit. Both of these psychotic episodes contained indications that NCCG involvement had induced them. This web site author believes it is likely that there have been other such incidents.

      Evidence? And define "psychosis".

Among NCCG members who are psychologically susceptible to being manipulated this way, NCCG makes heavy use of the following dangerous mental distortions:

an induced simulation of Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD).

Given that Concern doesn't believe in MPD, I can understand this. I know it exists, this ministry knows it exists, certain secular psychologists knows it exists . . . the list goes on and on.

an altered state of consciousness called "The Garden". "The Garden" appears to resemble a highly suggestive or perhaps even hypnotic state where vivid visualization and suggestion is used. Several people can be in the same "Garden", using communication over the internet as the base for a cooperative kind of suggestive state. "The Garden" is used for a number of purposes within NCCG, only one of which is encountering deities such as "Yahweh".

      Refuted earlier.

Some of the most dangerously-involved members, including fringe members who are being groomed for core membership, believe that they receive visions and revelations directly from "Yahweh" (God). These visions and revelations may include information about the activities of enemy "satanists", among other things.

The issue is whether or not they hold up to the criteria defined in the Bible. If they do not, we repent and reject them.

Participation in "deliverance sessions" can result in a controlling relationship between the "deliverance minister" and the recruit.

So can participation in a marriage, government-operated schools, the work place . . . need examples.

Presumed, uncovered past incidents of "Satanic Ritual Abuse" (SRA) can be used similarly. NCCG believes that SRA is widespread in the world, and that they perform "deliverance sessions" on genuine victims of SRA.

What also must be taken into the account is the large number of people who come to us THINKING they have SRA that we have turned down because we have reasonable cause to believe they don't. Obviously, if convincing someone they had SRA was to our advantage, why would we turn them down? This has been documented in chat logs.

In addition to the chatroom "deliverance sessions", articles written by Warren have been posted in their private MSN group, Deliverance from Demons, which discuss demonic issues and SRA. Just a few of many examples follow:

In a document titled FAQ 04, influenza is discussed as follows:

If wasn't long before I was able to test my theories about infectious diseases. One night I was particularly unwell and nearly totally drained of energy. I started self-deliverance, took authority over the spirit of infirmity, bound it, and cast it out. A vision opened up to me and I saw what looked like a swarm of black flies - a huge cloud of them. I was immediately aware that these were demons associated with influenza.

I certainly believe that statement can be falsified to those willing to submit to the proper conditions, don't you?

In a document named A35,Warren indicates that children can be affected by demons before they are born:

The Bible takes a very different view of unborn children which it regards as fully human. Even Satanists and demons know this which is why they curse their unborn as early as the first month following fertilisation...

      Ditto.

In a document named A34, Warren describes other ways in which children can be affected by demons:

Children born out of wedlock, children of incest and other abuses named by Torah, are cursed and demonised, and only adoption by a spiritual father can dissolve these. To be an orphan is a curse and it has never been our Heavenly Father Yahweh's intention that there should ever be orphans, even when parents are killed.

I mention this earlier. The Bible itself says that to be born out-of-wedlock is a curse. Do you believe in the Bible or the theories of man? Its all a matter of worldview and I believe I can logically back mine to the one willing to listen with an open-mind.

In a document named A36, Warren claims that demons are able to manifest physically:

...demons do not naturally possess the sexual function. They certainly try to imitate it. By stealing the vast amounts of psychic energy released into the lower (first) heaven (astral plane in occultic jargon), they are able to empower themselves with the very function Yahweh denied them. At sundry times they have tried to circunvent the Heavenly Ban against them by, for instance, coming down to earth and posing as "gods". By plundering human psychic energy, they devote considerable time to storing it up in sufficient quantities so as to be able to effect some sort of physical materialisation - or at least an imitation of physicality. Thus they are able to materialise and dematerialise.

I don't consider myself an expert on demonic sexuality, nor do I care to become an expert on the subject anytime soon, I do know of eye-witnesses who will testify that demons can both materialize and dematerialize and can engage in sexual acts. Of course, the secular world would probably medicate them simply because it doesn't coincide with their worldview, but this doesn't neccessarily "disprove" them either.

Also in A36, Warren claims many other things are directly associated demonic possession:

There are literally billions of demons associated with ungodly sex and they are amongst the toughest to get rid of. Most of them come under the demonic marshall called Bacchus (named for the Greek god of debauchery) whose legions are responsible for all kinds of additions [sic]: sex, drugs, tobacco, alcohol, gluttony, rock music, etc.

I am no expert on Bacchus, but as someone who has received several revelations on the demonic and has ministered to people who has had them, I can testify that demons are associated with various functions and thus am in agreement with the gist of what Warren is saying.

NCCG's organization scheme, which Warren says was created on April 6, 1988, dictates how group members are placed, and advance, through NCCG's structure. The information is located on the nccg.org website but is not easily found by a casual browser.

The introductory page is, at the time of this writing, visible at http://www.nccg.org/CBQ-HP.html. It attempts to chase away uninitiated members with the following statements:

There are few written materials on the Patriarchal Order because instruction is almost exclusively communicated orally. Some written materials have been inserted on this website to allow those who have been called to the apostolic office to find their way home, and these may be viewed, for example, in some of the revelations of the The Olive Branch such as the New Olive Leaf revelations. Some of the Order's deuterocanonical scriptures and other materials are reproduced on this page for the benefit of the firstborn searching for their spiritual home. They are not official materials of the local colonies of the New Covenant Church of God / B'rit Chadashah Assembly of Yahweh and are not used in public study or devotions, being solely for the edification of the members of the Order.

As most of the material on this site is deep (the "meat" of the Gospel) we do not recommend its study until the material on the main page of the New Covenant Church of God / B'rit Chadashah Assembly of Yahweh has first been digested as it will likely be misunderstood. If you are not acquainted with the "milk" or elementary principles of the Gospel then we recommend you go back to the Main Page and return here another time.

While I am sure this statement scares the "cult watchers", it is not without biblical warrant. Hebrews 5:10-12 speaks of believers who are "dull of hearing" when it comes to the "first principles" of the Gospel. Therefore, the writer of Hebrews refrained from teaching them more deeply about the person of Melchizedek, even though he desired to do so. Even Yah'shua (Jesus) Himself held back certain teachings from the multitude and shared them only with his core disciples (Matthew 13:11; Mark 4:11; Luke 8:10). The "warning" on the first page only dissuades people from going deeper than they should until they've understood the "first principles". It is the equivalent of studying algebra. If you do not know the core principles of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, chances are you are not going to understand the material. As such, the Gospel is given in degrees which we, as members of NCCG, understand to be typified in the different priesthood degrees (Deaconate, Eldership and Patriarchate). Unlike many degree systems, where the "initiated" understand the truth whereas the "uninitiated" understand a "lesser truth" (which is actually an outright lie when compared to the "higher truths" of said organization), everything in the Gospel builds upon each other so that even the "lesser truths" are still true and are not contradictions of "higher truths" and vice-versa. For example, Algebra doesn't contradict the rules outlined in arithmetic, but rather, uses those rules as basic building blocks to deeper truths -- thus arithmetic doesn't cease to be arithmetic because of Algebra. When we know the commands of Yahweh and keep them, one begins to understand His heart and outlook on things. This is why Yah'shua (Jesus) told the Pharisees that if they did Yahweh's will (i.e. keep His commandments in the Mosaic Torah as opposed to their own man-made ones), they would know that His doctrine is of Yahweh because it is the logical conclusion of the Mosaic Law (John 7:17). Likewise, it is my belief that if anyone keeps the commandments of Yahweh as outlined in the Bible and entertains an open-mind, they will know that NCCG is just the logical conclusion of said book. Of course, this statement is falsifiable. If it can be shown that the core doctrine of NCCG is not the equivalent of Algebra (while arguing the Bible is the equivalent of arithmetic -- even though this is too simplistic of an analogy), and thus builds upon the Bible, the critic needs to demonstrate this instead of using secular humanistic methods (since we are claiming the biblical truth). This would need to be done by someone who takes the biblical worldview seriously since we are entertaining a biblical worldview. If they don't, they need to show how the biblical worldview itself is "irrational" using simple methods of logical deducation (I do not believe Mr. Concern has done this yet since it would chase a large part of his core audience away). Thus, whether or not we are or aren't holding back information isn't the issue. I can assure you it isn't intentional (to put down EVERYTHING is shere impossible -- I, myself, have many things I'd like to write but am not able to because of time constraints), rather, the issue is whether or not what we believe is a logical and consistent form of biblical Christianity.

Christopher Warren bills himself out to NCCG members as being one who receives visions and revelations directly from God, often in the form of dreams which are then later interpreted by him and other core members.

Um, yeah, to be a prophet, you more or less have to. The question is, do these revelations contradict the Bible?

Christoper Warren claims to receive prophecies from God, and to predict the future. There are many, many instances of this throughout Warren's writings. A few examples:

Claims to have prophesied the unification of East and West Germany, in the Olive Branch section linked as http://www.nccg.org/119.html. This "prophecy" was made in March of 1989. Readers should note that this was several months before the event actually occurred.

      It happened.

Claims to have prophesied the breaking apart of Yugoslavia, referenced as Olive Branch section "NC&C 267:1-2" This "prophecy" was made in 1990. Readers should note that as early as March 1990, the country was already moving in this direction.

However, events could've stopped it from occuring.

Prophesied that an imminent financial catastrophe was going to strike Norway in November, 1998. This webpage is visible via the "wayback machine" provided by www.archive.org. I have saved this page as I found it at archive.org, visible at this provided link. The catastrophe did not actually occur, and Warren now takes the position that the actual catastrophe was something like "the holy spirit leaving Norway".

Warren has confessed to me in private that he has never recanted this prophecy. In other words, he is claiming it'll still occur and yet he was wrong on the date because he tried to press Yahweh for a date and got a demonic response back. I defend Warren's mistake in my article "False Prophets and the New Covenant: The Apostle Peter As A Case Example" found on this website. Mr. Concern has stated to me both in private e-mail and on his site that we need to seperate ourselves from Warren for preicsely the reason Warren prophesied falsely this once. If we are going to reject Warren, we have to reject the Apostle Peter. And not only Peter, but likewise, the adulterer, the murderer and the homosexual.

Is Mr. Concern sure he wants to make this claim? I'm sure it'll alienate a large part of his core audience if he does.

I also intend on releasing a prophecy list in the future that details the incredible accuracy of many of Mr. Warren's prophecies as found chiefly in the Olive Branch.

NCCG practices a form of memory regression they call "theophosticised memory". It is claimed that things a person cannot normally remember may be remembered this way.

"They call"? NCCG didn't invent Theophostic. It was discovered by Ed Smith and has an official website at http://www.theophostic.com. Those interested in learning more about it can read it there. It should be noted that NCCG is not the only Christian organization that uses Theophostic. Large portions of the Evangelical Church do likewise.

In a document named SRA10, Warren references a relationship between a child and biological parents that was supposedly determined to be satanic [sic]. He describes a ritual in which a new group member enters into a "covenant" with an elder NCCG member, specifically to renounce their parents and take the NCCG member to be their "adoptive spiritual parent". Their relationships with their father and mother (relationships are called "soul ties") are severed, and it progresses further from there.

I would like to interject as someone who was around when the doctrine of spiritual adoption was first introduced, that the parents in question in this particular case were hard-core Satanists and Mr. Concern's statement "supposedly determined to be satanic [sic]" is misleading. It is my belief that he is trying to get all of his readers to think that we deem all biological non-believing parents to be Satanic and this is hardly the case. While we still practice spiritual adoption in many of these cases, so far as I know, NCCG has taught to honour one's biological parents so long as they don't contradict the Bible.

Warren's writings about women are among the most contradictory that can be found in the source material. Typically, if the writing is highly visible on the website, it will expressly represent NCCG as not being male chauvinistic, and in other places the writing may initially express non-chauvinistic ideas but will have turned the perspective around to resemble male chauvinism at the end.

Mr. Concern tries to make it sound like we are not very consistent on our views of women. It should be noted in our church that women do hold priesthood offices but only in the subordinate sense of being subject to their husband (if he's a believer) or a male head (if the husband is not a believer -- the head would then only be a head in the sense of pastoral duties, but not home duties). OB 17:77-80; 60 and Section C. The Zadokim, Subsection "The Priesthood Order: An Organisation" (pg. lxvi) describe women priesthood ministries.

The Bible itself teaches that women are equal in terms of salvation, but not roles. For example, Galatians 3:27-28 says there is neither male nor female in Messiah simply because they have put Him on. Gender differences, salvationally-speaking, are irrelevant in the New Covenant. However, women still have their respective roles. For example, the Bible mentions female priesthood officers such as the elder women who taught the younger women (Titus 2:3-5). Some argue from the Greek alone that Phebe was a deaconess (Romans 16:1,27). And some argue that Junia, which is a female name in the Greek, was an apostle (Romans 16:7), just like Paul and Barnabas (Acts 14:14) who were not part of the core Twelve Apostles. These three examples are a strong argument for sub-apostles, as the NCCG priesthood structure diagrams. It should also be noted that some people take 1 Timothy 2:11-12 not as a command forbidding women to teach, but rather, as one allowing them to teach so long as they are under subjection to their husbands, as this page demonstrates. Another article, archived from Google, explains some of the more so-called "chauvinistic" quotes found in the Scriptures.

All and all, it is a matter of worldview. Women, as far as I've observed, are treated with dignity and respect in NCCG.

Reverences to the social movement of "feminism" are represented in an extremely negative light, including being associated with a "liberal Illuminati".

Feminism covers more than "female rights" and while it can have many commendable aspects, likewise has negative aspects. If one holds to a literal view of the Bible, however, the two beleif systems are disparate.

Writings by Warren and others in the various NCCG message boards clearly support the position of male dominance and leadership in the marriage relationship, as well as in the major decisions for a group of married people (polygamic marriage). Rules regarding counseling and NCCG leadership itself also stipulate sex-based restrictions which relegate women to a lower role than would be attainable by men. References to the "Womens Liberation movement" throughout the writings observed on the NCCG websites by this web site author were overwhelmingly negative. Descriptions of correct behavior of women in many different scenarios of a marriage relationship are principally applications of submissive, non-challenging behavior to the scenarios.

This is only of concern to those who hold to a secular worldview. Honestly, I think the secularist is just as deluded as they accuse us of being, only I'll give them the free choice to practice as they will.

Women who are referenced as "prophetesses" are referred to as exclusively having a "profession" of either housewives or mothers, specifically not participating in "secular" work.

NCCG allows home industries for women as the Proverbs 31 woman exemplifies. It should be noted to one holding a biblical worldview that it was Yahweh Himself who cursed man alone (and not the woman) to work the ground to earn his bread (Genesis 3:17-19).

Additionally, there are isolated statements which, if viewed superficially, may appear to support a non-chauvinistic position. NCCG leadership has expressed that men are not simply "superior" to women, but that God still requires specific reductions in the roles of females as described above. It does not appear that these kinds of general, theoretical statements regarding no supposed "superiority" have an impact on the functional, situational, male-favoring differences that exist between the behavioral standards of men and women as they are purported by NCCG.

      Already answered this objection above.

This web site author has come to the opinion, through noting these and many other direct and indirect references during research, that NCCG is functionally male chauvinistic, despite a few indicated beliefs about male and female "superiority" which may be noted.

An example of the kinds of small, frequent, functionally chauvinistic statements can be seen below, in this excerpt from a document titled "Women and the tree of knowledge of good and evil":

When a man has a problem and is open to counselling help from a woman, he opens himself up to abuse. Is this because women don't know the truth? No, but because a woman never was ordained by Yahweh to counsel men apart from her own sons to whom she has no sexual hold/attraction whatsoever!...It is very important for men to find a father and only go to the women his father appoints and only during the time they are appointed as mothers...

It should be noted that this quote is entirely removed from its context. It was actually written by Jemimah on the old site and the context is married women ministering to men they are not married to. The article can be found, archived from Google, at the following link: http://64.233.161.104/search?q=cache:JExbi9i_TFkJ:www.nccg.org/deliverance/deliverance38.html+When+a+man+has+a+problem+and+is+open+to+counselling+help+from+a+woman,+he+opens+himself+up+to+abuse.+Is+this+because+women+don%27t+know+the+truth%3F+No,+but+because+a+woman+never+was+ordained+by+Yahweh+to+counsel+men+apart+from+her+own+sons+to+whom+she+has+no+sexual+hold/attraction+whatsoever!...It+is+very+important+for+men+to+find+a+father+and+only+go+to+the+women+his+father+appoints+and+only+during+the+time+they+are+appointed+as+mothers...&hl=en&gl=us&ct=clnk&cd=1&ie=UTF-8. I know many Christian women outside of our fellowship which would probably agree with the conclusions reached in this article.

Standards of dress have been observed being enforced within NCCG, particularly for women. Due to privacy concerns, the observed dress standards cannot be discussed in this report at this time.

LOL. "Have been observed being enforced within NCCG"? Can't be discussed due to privacy concerns? What is Concern, a peeping tom? No, but seriously, I'm wondering how he "knows" and which "concerns" he's talking about.

One document noted in the source material that addresses dress standards for women was titled "Biblical Dress Standards for Women" and "Biblical Clothing Standards for Women" and "The Sin of Bath-sheba". I summarize the pertinent parts of this document as follows:

These articles were written by a member outside of our fellowship and thus may or may not agree with all NCCG doctrine. They were posted up both for comments, criticisms and as a suggestion. Of course, one could note the biblical clothing standards and how "opressive" they may seem by today's critieria in 1 Peter 3:1-6 and 1 Timothy 2:9-10.

NCCG's leader (Christopher C. Warren) made the following comments about the document:

A personal note from myself: Please be aware that the forces behind getting women to dress immodestly in order to inflame the passions of men are demonic, and are spicifically under the direction of Lilith, Hecate, Astoreth (Astarte) and Jezebel. This is not a minor matter. And specifically a women will not get free of Lilith and her cohorts from her life until she has acknowledged these dress issues, unmasked the lies that the demoness has got her to believe about herself (normally it is a satanic, fleshy desire to be worshipped/admired, etc.. i.e. become a whore) and desires only to inflame the passions of/be admired sexually by/etc her lawful husband. For the men too who have Lilith problems, there is a need to be honest about the seduction of Lilith's idolatry and her ways of getting you to worship female beauty as 'goddesses'. I myself recently destroyed a beautiful and cherished collection of Greek figurines I owned when Yahweh showed me that Lilith lay behind them posing as the supposedly harmless "spirit of beauty", using the excuse that Yahweh created female beauty and therefore we could at the very least admire the artistic forms of women as His 'gift'. I know few men capable of doing that and not getting sucked into that demonic trap for which such supposedly 'innocent' admiration is, in truth, the first step long a greasy slope leading to pornography, fornication anhd adultery.

Be wise, be obedient, be true.

So is Mr. Concern therefore saying that women should dress like whores? What about the women who are anorexic, bulemic and have a bad self-image because they are told to look and dress a certain way so that they might gain acceptance from men? Is this right?

The core members of NCCG actively practice polygamy, with one man able to have more than one wife. Information about this polygamy practice is kept secret during initial recruitment efforts if the recruit is not from a culture that accepts polygamy as the norm.

As the leader of NCCG, Christopher Warren sees himself as able to conduct marriages within NCCG.

One of Christopher Warren's focuses within NCCG has been demonstrated to be the gathering wives to himself. As of Spring 2006, he represents himself to deeply-involved NCCG members as having 2 wives, and plans to marry additional wives to himself as time progresses. He indicated that he expected to have 5 wives by the end of 2006. It seems unlikely based on the recent historical trends that Warren will legally (by Swedish legal standards) marry any of the women. 5 is not an upper limit on the number of wives Warren is actively endeavoring to take for himself.

I would be interested in knowing where Mr. Concern got this alleged information and how come his private life isn't open to the same scrutiny.

At least one other group member was observed claiming on the internet to have taken multiple wives to himself.

      Who?

Warren teaches that for the time being, only a few men are "called" to actually live the polygamic lifestyle. However, during one stage of the future "Tribulation", polygamy will be typical. Each man will have a number of wives due to an overabundance of women.

Isaiah 4:1 teaches that during the Millennium, polygamy will be typical. Those interested in a serious exegesis on the subject are invited to check out http://www.biblicalpolygamy.com. They are also free to check out Wesley Stiver's "Eros Made Sacred" and our own novel, "Bouquet of Roses" on the archive of the NCCG.org. Click the Archive, click the "Marriage" link under the index, click the "Holy Echad Marriage" page and then click "Enter" on the preceding page. You should find them on the main menu.

NCCG believes that there is more than one heaven.

This is intended to shock our Christian critics, but it should be noted that Paul speaks of a "third heaven" in 1 Corinthians 12:2, where visions were seen. Personally, I think there are seven. It just goes to show this isn't essential doctrine in NCCG.

NCCG will tend to expect a woman's "father" to santion [sic] womens' marriages. However, they also have supporting beliefs where a senior group member (typically Warren) can do a ritual and become a woman's "spiritual father", and therefore act as her real father, in the eyes of God. In practice, this means that:

Women in NCCG who want to get married within NCCG but whose fathers are not NCCG members are able proceed with the marriage regardless.

NCCG's leader (Christopher C. Warren) can first "adopt" a female as an adopted spiritual daughter, and then marry her to himself later. There has been no evidence of a perceived conflict or a functional difficulty in the transition between the daughter/wife relationship in this practice.

Most fathers could give a fig nowadays whom their daughters marry. If you believe in the Bible, this poses a specific spiritual danger. Exodus 22:17 says a father can refuse the daughter to marry and what if the biological father approves of a marriage that is otherwise dangerous? Of course, I am highly respectful of true believing fathers outside of our covenant likewise. But nonetheless, it should be noted that Paul was a "father" to his congregation (1 Corinthians 4:15). Whether this was spiritual or figurative, the Scriptures do not say.

I've not come to a good theological answer regarding this issue, however, I have come to a temporary answer in my article "Biblical Customs of Courtship and Dating" which the interested reader can read on my MySpace blog.
