Purim = Feast of Lots. A celebration that was originally instituted on the 14th and 15th day of the month of Adar (the 12th month) by Queen Esther and Mordecai, in memorial of the salvation YHWH granted from Haman's plot against the Israelites and that Israel 'had rest from their enemies'. (Esther 9:16-28). However, with this not a being commandment of YHWH, and where YHWH commanded that "You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the YHWH your Elohim which I command you " (Deuteronomy 4:2), it is not observed by Messianic Evangelicals.
